they are the greatest trio group rn to me and maybe you could check another great artsist named yebba, lizzy and tiny habits are a fan of her too you could check her songs or her debut album called "dawn" its being produce by herself and mark ronson if you want tp check her songs first try "stand", "october sky" or "distance"
Great album. Obsessed with delay, great that they changed the tempo a bit. Maya's voice right at the beginning of one more, freaking love it. The strings at the end of one more, love it even more, really really hope they'll have the chance at some point to kill this song with live strings (i kinda feel they would work so well on an acoustic set with strings, but that's probably my bias, i'm obsessed with strings, haha, speaking of being obsessed with strings, react to dodie? ;) ). The only issue i have with this album is the hiss on some things. I hate when a record is sterile, you can't even hear the singer taking breaths cause it's cut out, but I also really don't like when all i can hear is sshshshshshshsh during the eintire song. It's 2023, not that hard to record 3 voices and a guitar without hiss (and if it was by choice - dunno, they were singing to one mic at the same time - , it was not a good choice imho). Anyway, they are crazy talented, and can't wait what the future holds for them. And really hope, i can see them live at one point (i have a ticket for one of Lizzy's europan show where Tiny Habits open for her, but i probably won't be able to make it :(( ). Fun fact: Philip Etherington who produced this album is the same guy who produced Lizzy's Five seconds flat (who also produced Tiny Habits'' Savior complex cover - and a lot of toher songs - for the Stories channel, it's really good, give it a listen if you didn't yet. And who plays the dobro on that cover is the same who plays the steel guitar on Landslide)
Thanks for all this info! I saw Dodi last year when Lizzy opened for her here in Seattle, I liked her music but it didn't hit me the same as Lizzy or Tiny Habits for that matter, but I'll check her out some more. As for the hiss you hear, I didn't notice it at all, but I was not listening on headphones and also I'm probably used to hearing hiss on everything because that's a completely normal thing when recording instruments and vocals that are quiet, and everything on this recording was quiet.
@@BarrettJonesProducer yeah, i listened the songs through earphones. But only the last song has the loud hiss. Of course, when it's an acoustic instrument or voice, you'll have some hiss, and that's totally ok. The amount of it is what i have issue with. And in only one song? Like why?
They are so talented!
Beautiful harmony
Woohoo more Barrett ❤❤❤ love your content
