If there’s one thing the Dragon Ball franchise definitely isn’t lacking, it’s mighty warriors eager to fight at the slightest provocation. But who among them is really the strongest fight of them all? Today we’re going to tackle that all important question and you might be surprised to learn that Son Goku has some competition. Of course, there’s the concept of power levels but that can only take us so far, as even series creator Akira Toriyama is well aware of. We’ll take a look at some heavy hitters including the Angel Whis and Beerus, the God of Destruction. Even though Beerus is a deity, he still hasn’t mastered the art of Ultra Instinct, which might be the single most impressive technique in the whole show. There are benevolent warriors and then there’s a whole host of insidious characters such as the wicked Demon King Piccolo, or enemy Broly who only became canon semi-recently. We’ll talk about why Goku meeting Kami was such a game changer and how it affected the progression of the series. If you’re a fan of the franchise, you might just find yourself watching those battles with a whole new appreciation for the concept of strength.

Broly in the Movie was very inexperienced, I'd say Broly with the experience Goku has and trained his power more and maybe even visited Yardrat like Vegeta currently has and completes full course training? Broly would by far be the most OP fighter in the series that not even Jiren could compete with. Hell, Broly still hasn't even mastered his forms of transformation yet and he did some work with normal ki. Imagine if the madman had God Ki or was capable of improving his rage levels to go into Ultra Instinct. He's a legend for a reason, and I cannot wait to see him improve even more.

Bro BROLY is the strongest mortal,base form Broly was able to defeat super Saiyan Vegeta,without an actual good training,don’t forget,in dbs Broly movie,BROLY was fighting the first actual strong opponent and he still won.It took ssj god to beat is base form,imagine him training with whis or just training with Goku and Vegeta,imagine is full power form combined with ssj god or ssjg blue...or even mui?He might be able to actually match MAYBE angels
First of all goku was holding back against all his friends in training
And it wasn’t even on a level of what we could call holding back he scaled in back to 5% so that he couldn’t eradicate his friends in a sparring session I hate when people just don’t understand the little things the only reason these side characters are even around at this point is because of the legacy of them so of course they had to do a little 5 min fight just so that you can they aren’t the same people getting beat up my saibermen

OniKage last time I checked it’s been stated through the entire dbs dbs and gt storyline that they specifically/saiyans hold back in every fight because they enjoy battle... example 1 vegeta last cell absorb 18 so that cell could achieve a higher form and battle vegeta. Example 2 goku let toppo beat him up so that he could see what toppo true strength was those are just 2 examples so how my logic is flawed when it’s written down as fact is beyond me but please go ahead and inform my I love to talk about dbs

Bokane25 I say for now Goku by a nose, only by that much, Jiren is already as strong as him, Broly isn’t as strong but Goku can only use MUI for a minute or two, and Broly’s durability is beyond words, plus he gets stronger every second he fights, so is a pretty close match, so if the fight ends in couple of seconds Goku wins but if the fight goes for way too long, Broly wins. Jiren is the second fiddler, I don’t see a way for Jiren beat Goku if Goku is already stronger than him or if Jiren is strong enough to beat Broly in a durabily fight

I believe that Vegeta would be up their as one of the strongest. Vegeta has always strived to be the strongest of all Saiyans. Always trying to surpass Goku. I believe if it comes down to will it would be Vegeta in my book. It seems as if Vegeta has to train 10x harder to achieve what Goku has achieved. Genetically in the Saiyan universe Goku may have gotten the better genitics when it comes to getting stronger faster. Unless you consider broly in all of this. Broly has not had a real trainer. He was trained by his weaker father. If broly had the training of Goku or Vegeta he would be number one in my book. However you have to see that it took combine efforts of Vegeta and Goku to dismantle broly.
I wouldn't say Goku has better genetics than Vegeta. Goku is just willing to learn and listen more without putting pride in the way.
I agree with Brian, plus Vegeta was born with a power advantage over Goku, since the saiyan prince is born with a very high power level. Goku just listens more and is more willing to do whatever it takes to get stronger.
@@themafia6979 We don't know what Goku power was as a baby, all we know is when his father said, with his latent ability he's destin to be sent away, the same thing happened to Broly because he was to strong. So I don't think Vageta was more powerful as a kid because we never saw Goku's numbers.

He said "only an average power level.... I thought you were special" as he runs off. So prince Vegeta was indeed born more powerful than goku. In fact, it took Goku to use a technique
3 times more powerful than his full power in order to even rival Vegeta's strength. And it took 4 times that power to beat him.

about krillin, you missed the episode in namek when a namek unlocked krillin and gohans potential before they faced freiza... so that jump power level is explained.

One thing. The farmer wasn't 5. The farmer WITH a shotgun was 5. So Goku as a small child being 10 is actually super impressive. He's already twice as strong as a shotgun blast at that point.

Without watching this video I can assume it’s wrong because CBR lists are always wrong. Ignoring that fact the thumbnail image are both from Dragon Ball Super and not Dragon Ball Z.
People keep bringing up power scaling, but do they know that Power Levels where introduced to be shown that they don't really matter. Every power level is surpassed and have proven to be bullcrap time and time again.
The thing about Dragon Ball characters are that they have limitless potential to get stronger. This is proven with Goku and the others. Not all characters are like that (*cough* *cough* Yamcha), but most of them are.
That's pretty much why I like Dragon Ball.

Actually the strongest fighter in the dragon ball z series is Vegito. But if you want to count a single fighter it should be mystic gohan. At the end of z he was more powerful than all the other warriors (except vegito)
Who would win between these characters in this video?
I noticed Broly shares the same prodigy fighting skills that Goku does, but adapts at a much faster rate. Goku is seemingly near his level cap being at god level. Broly however only recently tapped into his potential and reached god level only at super sayian. Sadly I think Broly will have more of a devolution since he still retains his tail. I think Broly will be given the golden ape and Super Sayian 4 treatment in Super.

Have to disagree with the end and say Jiren is the strongest. Jiren fought Goku Kaioken 20, Vegeta Evolution Blue, and 17 at the same time without going all out and he froze Golden Frieza in place before knocking him out. Jiren is even stronger than a God of Destruction and it wouldn't be shocking if Jiren beat Gogeta. Gogeta stomped Broly and that's not taking away from Broly. Broly is a beast but he's not the strongest.

When the series ended in August and went into hiatus what whis said when he was flying goku and vegetables back to berries planet stayed with me. Who is the strongest? Frieza obviously was at that time but whis didn't seem at all concerned maybe because he knew goku and vegetables would catch up to him anyway.
The new super hero arc was what gave it away. The always make a filler arc to bring something better. Doctor Hedo and the red ribbon vs Gotem and atrunks aka GSM X1 AND GSM X2.
TORIYAMA ALMOST DOES EVERYTHING THE SAME.
The real question was how do you fit Brody into all of this?
How the frea is he on berries planet chilling right now in the super arc if he was not cannon from the begging.
While toriyama took a break from super episodes he simply made DragonBall super heroes episodes and made them non fictional.
He them turned and made his super movies the actual arcs or Manga story lines.
The dude just has a way of working on atimeliness. You can say it's his life's work or ethics.
There was NO WAY to bring Brody into the real world unless you flipped the movies and the actual episodes.
Before the movies were the only things that were non fictional. Characters like the name Kian, Brody, janeba, cooler, and other were introduced but never put in he actual show. Now that I think of it the only hint to actually make its way from then on fictional world was trunked Z sword but we Wil get to hat later.
So do you get it?
Dragonball Heroes is all non fiction and an official replacement for the original movies.
Dragonball super and the Manga are real in the comic world but we're put on hold to work on super heroes.
To not lose his pace, place, or creativity with to much info tha would flood the net about power levels and stuff he had to work on a schedule.
This is why we haven't seen any new dragonball super episodes.
Where is this going?
In the begging you had the saying Era with goku fighting his brother.
The second fight was against sayains.
If you relive the entire arc he first fights freida.
He recently just had to or is bout to fight frizz again for a power boost.
The fourth fight was against androids and that's who they are fighting now in the comic arc.
The fight with cell came after that.
Whis Said that cell wasn't born yet becasue he knew he was in he incubater in the lab.
If you look at the notes that was on the disk trunks got from Dr Hedos zombies you will see it had Cells DNA and his bio rhythms with a picture of him in the incubator.
Toriyama said and stated himself that if cell max had gotten to full strength even brolly could take him down.
They noted that cell wasn't his intelligent self in super hero becasue he want finished yet.
Cell or the strongest warrior in the universe.
I dontknow how this will tie into the five strongest but it's going to be one he'll of a fight. Stay tuned.

This has been said for the saiyans during the tournament of power and for broly, it’s not emotions that only allows access to ssj, but beyond that it’s his constant progress during a fight.
