😅
I wanted to like this comment but at the time you’re at 69 comments and I refuse to mess that up. Legendary
Love that we're at 2 round mocks! You know what the addicts really want? A Full 7 round Mock WITH trades. Give us the 5 hour video we crave 😂
So true
7 might be a full series 😂
And then they should also reply to the bozos in the comments like "ARI would NEVER take an OT in the 4th round! you're an idiot!"
@@TampaBayTre it'll be worth the series 😂 I'll personally watch every single second of it. Love hearing you guys talk
7 rounder would be elite
Best draft channel on RUclips. No 🧢
Because of Trevor yes
@@scgtyur Gotta give some love to Connor as well. They both work well together, like peanut butter & jelly.
facts
It might be
disagreed. they're good tho
Chargers fan here. There are PLENTY of us who would love Bowers. Gates 2.0
Bowers is pretty confidently the best offensive pick for the chargers. He fulfills 3 different upgrades for them:
- Helps the line by being a great blocking TE
- Makes up for the Quinton Johnston pick by adding a GREAT pass catching option for Herbert (especially if they end up losing one of their top receivers soon)
- Upgrades the TE position that has consistently been a weak area for them over the years
No that only makes sense to them. I will bet it all that they trade down or take d lineman.
respect hunter henry
Chargers fan here, best case scenario is trading down inside the 11th pick and still draft bowers.
The issue here is the economics of his draft slot. Meaning the opportunity cost of taking a potentially top 5 TE as opposed to an “expensive” position like WR/T that plays as a top 15-20 level is too great.
As a charger fan I’d be ok with the pick after a trade down. This roster has a lot of holes.
this was well said, i just think elite OT's don't grow on Trees, it really eats at me how people project these mocks, like maybe it goes this way but like ur not getting elite OT prospects in their prime in Free agency, idk who in their mind would trade one away, we talk about the pitts pick all the time but in all seriousness. i didn't even love Sewell that much coming out, and he's basically changed the culture in Detroit, i've seen him play more TE than i've seen pitts play lately tbh. a lot of these teams should just take the tackle for the trade asset/resource. all due respect to Marv and bowers, rome, and nabers but seriously. They're positional value holds no leverage by comparison.
Pearsall immediately fills theilen’s role. Like getting a golden retriever puppy while your current one is 16 years old
This comparison makes me feel happy inside.
“Puppy Pearsall”
@@davidleblanc1811!!!
We need and X receiver though
Best draft coverage
As a charger fan bowers is the best pick we can choose, ain’t nobody hate that pick ⚡️🩵⚡️
TE in the top 5 is stupid
@@Draftday101 TE top five is stop 5 is stupid, but bowers isn’t. He isn’t your prototypical tight end he is a truly generational talent
@Draftday101 When healthy, Brock Bowers will require a double team from every team. He's too big for DBs to cover and too fast for linebackers to cover. Do you know what you can do with that kind of asset? The guy literally catches everything, and can outrun DBs. And that's not an exaggeration. In one of his games, he literally caught the ball in the middle of the field and outran a DB and a free safety for a touchdown. The DB was even with him and the free safety was in front of him when he caught the ball.
@@chewbaka1496 not in the NFL WR are almost always more valuable Kyle Pitts was a top 5 pick and he was never going to bring the value of Waddle and Chase if they hit with they did. Give me the upside of a true WR 1
@@Draftday101 Kyle Pitts is not in the same league as Brock Bowers. I watched them both play. I said that Pitts was way over-rated, going into that draft year....and that Falcons were foolish to draft him that high. Dude is skinny, in terms of tight ends. He won't be able to block. A DB can easily lock him up, if he goes beyond the short distance....and a linebacker can easily manhandle his little light weight self. Big difference between the two tight ends.
Thank you Connor, Xavier Worthy to ATL in the 2nd has been one of my favorite fits. Really opens up the door to Zac Robinson’s 11 personnel scheme, plus the compliment of speed is much needed
Let’s go!
Totally agree on Quinyons value skyrocketing, what Quinyon did at the senior bowl was genuinely lockdown in 1 on 1s is insane
As a Chiefs fan I love how much you struggle to find a WR. It’s a real struggle!
And then almost gave us a guy who drops everything (walker). After a season that we led the league in drops.
And then failed to give us the nuanced route runner we need in McConkey.
And then gave us a tall fast guy who is still just an athlete who might be good eventually, who has a a sub 50% contested catch rate (and our QB throws very few “go get it balls” unless your last name is Kelce).
AND THEN COMPLETELY REDEEMED YOURSELF ON THE 2nd Round!
Watched all of last years draft content, glad to see yall start popping up in my feed again. Subscribed
Every video is so amazing thanks guys!❤️
Connor just runs extra hot under the hood 😂
"same suitcase, same crotch." hahaha. i was dying.
I think the Chargers hiring Joe Hortiz solidifies Bowers as the favorite at No. 5. The Ravens love to use TEs and run 12-personnel with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.
Both were selected at Round 3&4 he’s not using a first on a TE
Great video! Thanks for taking the time and running thru this!
Making your own waffles still drunk from the night before in a continental breakfast will never not be an adventure
Damn were all living the same existence
But that first bite HITS
You guys are the best! Tell your bosses I said to give you a raise!
This is precisely the content I needed this fine Friday night.
great conversation in all ways - y'all are apparently favs of my favs, so here i am... good stuff...
The people need another no notes episode!! Went back and watched the last 2 and they're amazing episodes!
We will def do those again!
You guys are the best!
Wes, JE, Danny, Hogan?
I am sold
Chargers fan from Germany here and I want Brock Bowers. Fits perfect for Justin. And TE is always a big role with both Harbaughs. Already know I'm gonna get that jersey
Brock Bowers is a "can't miss" pick. NFL draft analysts from literally every team said that he would have gone in the first round, his "True Freshman" year.
great stuff guys. best draft content out there
Appreciate you!!
YES WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
Best draft content out there
My buddy is a Bears fan and he is losing his mind with how much the fanbase loves Fields. The dude is a bottom 10 passer and the fans want him around long term. Caleb has to be the pick imo, paired with any of Turner, Verse, Nabers, Odunze or Bowers.
I think the Packers are fine at OT, Walker was pretty solid all season and Tom is top 10 RT already.
I think most Fans are not aware that Fields is 1 solid season away from being an 40+ Millionen APY QB (Daniel Jones...).
Their second first round pick should be an easy good one like you mention. Maybe Latu could be in play aswell.
As a Packers fan i don't have any position/prospect i would really love to have because the 1 Position where there is an huge need (Safety) isnt one where there appears to be an prospect worthy of the 25th overall pick.
With the NFL season almost done, could you guys do a 2023 draft retrospective. Talk about which players over performed expectations and which underperformed. Maybe re-update your 2023 draft team ranking to see how they held after the season. It would be great to understand some of your thoughts on why certain players did or didn't do as well as you expected.
Yes, I think that would be more productive then mock drafts. All they do is help us to learn who the players are in the draft but a post draft season perspective would be very enlightened. I know a lot of people poked fun at Lions first 2 or 3 picks last draft but it seems pretty solid in hindsight.
You guys doing the lords work
Hyped up for this! Let’s go!
WE OUT HERE
Once again you guys kill it
Good stuff boys
I appreciate the effort. It helps us who dont have time to follow college ball closely to get to know the players in the draft but we all know after you get past the top picks, the draft is completely unpredictable. Its just a NFL fans wish list
Love the content need a three rounder next!!
Here because of Trevor doing an awesome job on PFF channel. Continually impressed and looking forward to more content. Hope Trevor is feeling proud of himself as a professional. Not everyone has got it, and I'm expecting good things to keep on coming
I live for these keep it up 🤌
You keep watching, we’ll keep recording!
@@TampaBayTre deal!
Charger fan here, definitely not mad at Bowers⚡️
Love the Sanders pick in round 2 for the Bengals!
Im gonna throw it back to being a kid on vacation, those individual mini cereal boxes. Nothing made me more excited as a kid and to this day as a 31 year old lol. Great coverage guys as always.
I am a charger fan, I loveeeeeeee bowers
Trevor firing up the Mock Draft Sim is the Tai Lung meme "Our battle will be legendary".
Agree on 4. Lots of nice WRs in round 2 and FA.
You guys are the absolute best at this. I was wondering if you could give one piece of advice to someone like me trying to break into the industry what would it be
Not sure if a 53 year old Vikings fan is your target audience, but I kinda like the Draft & Roster Construction more than the games themselves. Found you guys a couple of months ago and the content is the best! Selfishly, can you do a Fix the Franchise for Minnesota?
As a chargers fan I love the Brock pick ❤️⚡️
I will load up the links or patties at a Homewood Suites, no question.
As a Panthers fan I finally get to see my team pick lol. Also I loved Connor in " Scrubs"
The homewood suites midtown Manhattan is an awesome value. One of my favorite NYC hacks
taking a player projected at 71 in the 33rd spot is absolutely nuts.
Love this for the Packers!
Drafts never go the way everyone says they will go!
the ladd mcconkey tangent was hysterical
Latu is one of my favorite players in this draft, he feels like Trey Hendrickson.
Love the pod, love the channel! You guys are awesome with the content, keep it up! As a die hard Raiders fan I'd really like to hear your opinions on how a Vegas draft WITH trades could go. Lotta smoke around trading up for Caleb Williams after the Kliff Kingsbury hire I imagine.
As a Cincinnati Bengals fan absolutely love this 2 rd mock hopefully we can get reader back for a good contract.
love the verse to Atlanta pick
Love the shoutout for Eddie royal! Go Hokies!
Hokie great!
I love to see my boys get more and more recognition by the day. But I also am jealous.
Remember nothing ever beats the grade from the tape. Senior bowl is great but don't put to much weight from it
A+++++ draft for Texans. Thank you
Right now Newton and Collins has the same size profile. Will he be better than Collins in run defense??? Just going by our roster round 2 needs to be a CB
@@jasonhaudenshield5220 different play style imo. Newton considerably stronger and better VS run. Depending on what happens in FA DE, DT, CB are all top tier needs with Safety, TE, RB and LB all coming hot on their heals. For these mocks I like to look at player value and fit. Newton would be awesome for DeMeco and this team.
As a Cards fan we’d LOVE Wiggins at 27 instead of reaching for an OT we can get in R2. All we have is Garrett Williams in that CB group lol it needs as much help as OL does. Plus I trust that Gannon is the kinda coach who can get the ceiling out of Wiggins. BPA baby! Best draft channel on YT 🙏
BEGGING for updated qb rankings 🙏🙏🙏
How could chargers fans be mad at getting the best TE prospect ever it’s a perfect pick for them and a fun one
Love this mock for the rams but I’m curious. Where do you see a guy like Jeremiah trotter JR and Josh proctor going? I kind of thought trotter was late 1 early 2 and proctor was mid to late 3 but curious your thoughts
The fact you guys allowed the Steelers to not go o-line should require you both to go start flipping burgers. Another year of Dan Moore and Mason Cole will have Acrisure looking like it did in the Dark Knight.
God Bless you and your family's for letting Malik Nabers drop to 9
This charger fan agrees with your Brock Bowers pick at five. Bolt Up⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hey we’re do u see Kam safety from Miami going both him and James from miami
Feel like penix could be telescos guy to run kliffburrys offense
This might be as close to an ideal scenario for GB draft as I've seen.
Would love to see some potential trades you guys think could happen as we get closer to the draft
As a Chargers fan, Bowers is my favorite pick at 5
Great content as always. Two small notes from a Packer fan if I may. Packers will certainly draft an OT but won't force it. Rasheed Walker was 66.4 PFF grade at LT and Zach Tom was 77.8 at RT. If they're starters in 24, that's not a bad thing. Also, new DC Jeff Hafley's system appears to emphasize press CBs, pressure, and single high S. Packers currently don't have a true FS and could invest in CB early with Eric Stokes in the last year of his deal. Mums the word!
Newton and Mitchell, two good picks for the Houston Texans.
Rage mock #2 🦅🦅🦅
Pick 22 Ennis Rakestraw Jr
50 Cam Hart
53 Kam Kitchens
I had similar thoughts, except I wanted Dejean at 22, Kitchens at 50 and Sanristil at 53.
Byard and Bradberry are toast and need to be replaced. Sydney Brown had one good play all year, and Blankenship is garbage. And Maddox is always hurt. I’d be more than happy if the eagles didn’t draft anyone but CBs, safeties and linebackers.
And if by some miracle Trotter and/or Colson fall into the third round, go get them, the eagles need to completely retool their LBs because Dean is tiny and the rest suck.
@@andrewmohrmann3599 I agree with everything except Blankenship being garbage. He must wasn’t ready for that bigger role on defense.. he’ll be aight. But I definitely agree I’d be hyped if they used all 9 picks on CB, S and LB lol Slay won’t be here much longer either it’s time to turn that defense over completely
Love the pod guys! Bowers is definitely a Harbaugh type player in my opinion. Under the radar guy for my Chargers at 5 in my opinion would be Joe Alt. Listening to Jim talk about what he looks for, he’s mentioned protecting Justin on multiple occasions already. Also Jim talks about how he basically wants mean ass kickers. That’s Alt. He’s gonna be a hard one for Harbaugh to pass on I think. On top of that, Slater does get hurt a lot. So Alt fills our massive hole at right tackle that has gotten Herbert hurt, then if Slater gets hurt, he can slide over. Thoughts?
What did you guys think of qwantez stiggers? Was kind of wild seeing a CFL hat out there..
Need a 3 rounder so the BEARS have one more pick😂 love it boys!
TSA loves you ❤️
I love this show and follow both of you but can someone please explain to me why you are treating 2024 mock like its a 2023 mock?
What’s with the order switching for the second round
we all know Trevor is the odd ball here :) great work chaps
Correct lol
Without belicheck would NE pick Marv at 3 then trade up in the back end of the first for penix/nix?
Perfect Friday night activities
As a Chargers fan I want Bowers and I feel not too many would be upset with the pick
Feels illegal to be this early
Yo fr, ima hide it out with you 👀
Passing on Nubin at 41 isn't happening when the draft happens if he's available
Bucs fan as well. Love the way this one panned out. I gotta do some more on Trice tho. I actually like Brasswell more for TB as the position he’s replacing is really Shaq Barretts. Sooo is 6’4 275 really best in space of the exotic blitzing. Does Yaya predict to slide there? Just interesting thoughts to me.
Bengal suggested a trade down at 14 with saints moving to 18 with bengals and I love it
I would love to see you guys break down where you think the FA and likely trade QB's will go and when you think each will go. I feel Cousin's price tag with his age limits his landing spots (several teams I feel are interested in him will have to cut pretty deply to open up cap space in order to afford him). I am betting Fields goes during the draft after they confirm their 1stpick of the draft. Zach Wilson is an interesting one and could be a big spoiler in the drafts. On the same note, IF the Patriots draft a new QB (I have heard they may not have given up on him) who do you think would be interested in acquiring Mac Jones and what kind of trade (value and timeframe) would you expect?
With how many teams are in need of QB's and the ones available, I am betting we could see quite a few changes in either team picks (a 2nd and 5th for Fields?) or in team needs which could drastically change the topography of these mock drafts.
Please give a fix the franchise with the Vikings. There could be a lot of changes this off-season. Would love it!
Question for Connor, could you see the Jets trading back and picking up a 2nd round pick given the tackle talent of this class.
good content, but no way PIT doubles up on defense in both 1 and 2 when the owner is talking about more points and firing OCs
Full chub for that bears draft
Yo what is up with that TSA crotch flagging system. I had the exact same thing happen to me last time I flew.
SLICK RICK AT THE 2.01 LETS GO
Christian Haynes is a giant
so morale of the story is Connor is packing heat and now everyone knows
Would’ve loved to hear Tampa vs Lassiter vs others at corner for the chargers in round 2 and how Harbaugh would influence that. Would they consider Sanristrill at 37???
