Personally, I add a pillowcase between the pillow and the pillowcase to avoid soiling the pillow by sweating. It's a hotel tip. The bed is welcoming, in France we don't put as many cushions but I will be inspired by them. White and beige is very elegant too!👍

Not me, I use a pillow protector as they're waterproof. My pillows are a year old and still disturbingly would send me to jail for being in the wrong neighborhood white.

THATS A GAME CHANGER putting bigger inserts in the pillow cases, also I saw another video where they put 2 comforters in one huge duvet to make it extra puffy who knew!

I love the way you made your bed, I love ❤ making the heights of the pillow, I didn’t think of the Euros 28x28 though, that was genius I thought to myself, omg 😲 really, I have those in the other room just sitting there 😀 so glad I watched this now they will be sitting on MY BEAUTIFULLY MADE BED. 😍 So Thank you for making this video. Sometimes, at least with me, you think about it so much, you can't just figure out the simple. One thing you did mention was the end of your king pillows and messy looking facing out. I agree with that. So, I wanted to share with you, that used to drive me nuts and then I was staying at a beautiful hotel and saw that the pillow ends were tucked in. Genius!!! Light bulb 💡 moment, yes, now so when make the cuff or envelope when you fold over the end of the pillowcase, but the other side is still left out and floppy so, I tuck in the first side then fold over and tuck in the other end smoothly. It looks fabulous and stays nice and tight and yes I still put the ends of the pillows on the inside as well. Also works great if you have a standard pillow but only a king or queen pillowcase, just fold it over and tuck it in. Hope you try and like this idea, just thought I would share. Keep making videos, you do a great job and congrats on the new addition😉 👼

This is a beautiful bed and room. Unfortunately, it's very expensive to purchase the items in this video. Just the pillows alone are way over budget. I still need money to decorate the rest of my house 😔 great video though.

You don't have to buy these exact items. For instance, you can get affordable pillow inserts from IKEA and pillow covers from Amazon.
I always use this videos as inspiration and honestly shop at Ross/ home goods and thrift stores and my room looks just like this for less
So true! I saw in the video it looks like they live in Colorado or Utah, I live in Southern California and if I put that much on the bed I’d die of heat stroke. I still have a ton of pillows on my bed, but I got shams and decorator pillows with my bedding set, and got some inexpensive Euro pillow covers from Amazon and it’s looks great.

People say the pillow should have opening on outside edge. I agree with you that it looks better going inside middle so you can’t see pillow showing through opening.

How do you get the duvet cover to fit so perfect on the down comforter that is inside of it
I have a king size bed so I bought an extra large king size down comforter but when I put it inside of the duvet cover does all this extra material puckered all over
It never looks nice and tight fitting like yours does there’s always extra fabric everywhere

Where did you find the 28 by 28 insert? The link in description to pottery barn the biggest they have with the link provided is a 26 by 26 insert. Also did you get down alternative or down a feather?
From the way it sits and stay in place, that is definitely a real feather insert.
If I have a white and grey bedroom with some decorative black accents, do I add any black to the bed? I’m completely stuck on throw pillow colors! My headboard, duvet and shams are white. My sheets switch between grey and white so I wasn’t sure what color quilt to have and what color pillows and throw to have. Please help, it’s driving me crazy

If you like the Euro sham look, I'd do 2 for a queen + 1 smaller decorative pillow in front.
