I always play against myself, one side tries to run them in the hole the other tries to hole contol block and push. That way you learn how to adapt to different situations and work on both skillsets.
I started the airmail drill and i improved almost immediately. I already did the ghost games both sides and from one. I'm bipolar so those r always fun😆😆
Fairly new at competitive cornhole. Sometimes I will place bags on the board to mimic a game. I seem to struggle with a bag in front of the hole either mine or the opponents. So when I block it kinda messes me up to. Haven’t learned the roll and not very good at airmail. Appreciate your videos
A little game we play is that you have to score 6 points before your score counts really push you too hit points. So max points in a round 6 if you hit 4 bagger
For the ghost games, would you suggest looking at what the ghost scored before or after you throw because I’ve done both and haven’t found what works better.
I got a practice drill for ya, that I learned from a former pro player, Josh Groce, I do it all the time, you slide bag in and airmail next then slide in again and airmail next. I do that for 15mins then switch it up to blocker then push blocker then push.
I found a trick that ends up making regular cornhole seem so easy. Flip your boards around so the tall ends are facing in. (Reverse Cowgirl) Your only chance of scoring is airmail because the boards are slanted away from you, and unless you are pretty tall you can't see the hole. Throw until you finally dial in a couple bags. Not too long. Then flip them back around to normal. Holy cow, suddenly so easy. Well, it's the same difficulty as it was before, but it's just a good mental reset. Also a fun way to do a prize give a away at a blind draw
I like to set blocker bags up. I will set up a lane side level 1 and try to get around or set up back blocks, middle level 1 work on side by side then opponent lane 1 and work on bullying then level 2 each position it really helps me know what shit works the best for me to either score or gain hole control when faced with a certain block in a match
That air mail warm up is legit. It seems easier to reach the board for regular slide shots once you’ve sent a few air mails.

@pyang0028 That's what I do too. I will use all 8 bags in two different sets and and alternating both sides of the board.
@@zaynes5094 I make sure to keep score to 21 to track which style needs more work. And test how effective my skills are in each style.
I videoed myself throwing so I could see what I was doing wrong and it helped immensely! Keep up the great videos I enjoy them very much.
That's awesome, thanks for checking out my vids
Bro the air mail drill to start is a game changer!
Just getting started playing doubles tournaments. Great tios
Have fun!
Great tips....I'm just now getting serious about the game...think your tips was ...spot on!!!
I do most of the drills you do. I also practice pushing bags in the hole and roll shots. I also hit 10 air mails at the end of my sessions.
Love it

Placing bags is a great idea!

I do the two bumper bag drill (one bag on the left ,one on the right) and focus on hitting my target … or you can use a small piece of tape
Second person to recommend the tape, definitely trying that one

I dig that, thanks for the tip!
@cornholenoob your welcome, I try to take in a lot that I can to help myself get better and I like to pic and pro players brains to help me as well

Love that idea
Thank you 🙏🏽
great tips, i am a beginner, so this is helpfull
I like your set up, how big is the turf under your boards? I have access to turf and would like to do the same.
5x7 turf
Thanks bud
I also do only air mails against the ghost but using 8 bags instead of just 4s
I usually just play against myself and use score magic. That way I know what my PPR is with each set of bags.
What's your bag lineup looking like now? what's your top 3 bags?
This sounds like a good vid idea 👀
While playing ghostholio, put blocker bag(s) to simulate a real world scenario.
Awesome tip
You should sell me those Castello x lol
I sold them already lol
The trainer boards have forced me to throw a straighter bag along with a better air mail.
Where did you get yours?
hello sir, im from philippines and im really interested in playing cornhole and introduce it here.
It's a worldwide game for sure
Sometimes i throw from 30' 35' to make myself "throw" them.
