I agree but I liked this one too.
I like the Ron Perlman ones better but this one is good also. I like the Professor in both cause John Hurt and Ian McShane are both great actors and play the role great.

Ron Pearlman played the original Hellboy the 2019 reboot wasn't bad I liked it but I still love the OG version
The reboot was trash.
Same, I liked this one but the og films are still my faves.
For the love of God Hollywood needs to stop with these reboots and franchises that are DOA like Alien and the Terminator and Indy Jones. The lack of creativity on Hollywood's part is frankly insulting.
Even though I love the Ron Perlman Hellboy movies I actually really enjoyed/loved this one too . I wish they made a sequel or an Amazon Prime or Netflix show that continues this Hellboy.

I greatly enjoyed this one.
Sure, it lacks the heart and polish of the first two.
But it still had plenty of very fun moments!

He already worked with Del Toro in "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark", and did a great job
I love the previous Hellboy movies, but I don't think this one is that bad. As a fan of the movies and the comics, I kinda like it. I also dig that the story always dig around the myth of Fae/Faeries and elder gods.
Heard that the creator of the Hellboy comics was the one who did the screenplay for the movie

There won't be a sequel. Last I heard, they're already talking about doing another reboot.

Thankfully this version exists, the first Del Toro Hellboy was always cheesy cringe. The Golden Army on the other hand is the best in the series.
I don't understand the hate for this movie. Comparing all 3, I liked this one more than Hellboy 2, but less than the original.

At the end of the movie, it's the partner of Hellboy in Hellboy 2 (the old version) . This movie was way more gory.

I may need to see this movie in it's entirety. Based on what I saw in these clips, it doesn't look like the disaster everyone says it is. I still wish Del Toro had made that 3rd one with Ron Pearlman, though.
I love Guillermo del Toro as much as the next cinephile. bit this Hellboy is unfairly maligned. Although it has some issues, it's every bit as comic-book accurate (if not more so, really) than the original films. There's way more to love here than to dislike.

Okay I didn’t love it but I also didn’t hate it love David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, and Ian Mcshane so I gave the movie some grace lol. I enjoyed the action and the storyline they went with it’s just obviously Ron played the OG, so it’s hard to beat that plus it’s painfully obvious somebody else is playing hell boy it’s like the reboot of elm street 😬 the makeup just looked way better in the originals.
I don't think this movie is as god-awful as everyone says it is, it's just really messy, but like everyone is saying the comments, the original is far superior.

I feel that problem with this movie its that it wants to cover so much of the Hellboy's comic without achieving it. Because there are some incredible things the Gruagach, Baba Yaga, for example, the story should have been smaller.

I love you guys but I preferred the original Hellboy movie much more.
It tanked. It's maybe a bit of an acquired taste, but it works for me big time.

the Ron Perlman movies are FAR superior to this. David's makeup seemed too rubbery and false seemed to hang off his face in places/scenes, at least Ron had the face structure for it also better stories
Ron Perlman played Hellboy better this reboot was ok but not as good as the first two live action Hellboy movies. I own this Hellboy reboot on blu ray.
Personally I feel like Hellboy is not a type of franchise that needed to be rated r it could always be like a hard PG-13 movie because even in the comments there wasn't a point where it felt like damn this needs to be rated r it always felt gritty it felt like a detective paranormal type series it was never like a series that needed to be like like hard or for me Hellboy felt like how I felt about 2022's the Batman where it was a hard PG-13 and it was gritty but it was never like to a point where it needs to be rated r I felt like they just wanted to be gory for the sake of being gory and I feel like they're just skimming through pages of the comic book with this movie and there's no real direction in this film so I hope that if they are trying to make another reboot try just to make it be its own thing and try its heart is not to be like this blockbuster movie Hellboy never felt like it was a blockbuster movie it felt like more of a grounded like comic book movie and that's what I liked about the original one

2019 Hellboy was soooooo bad. What an absolute mess of a movie. The Guillermo del Toro directed Hellboy movies are really good though, especially the second one.

This movie was bad not the actors the actors did really well but the story was horrible they literally didn’t even put Abraham in it till the very end and all you see is his hand
How's Mila Jovovich looking young at this age ? The answer is because she drinks a blood in this movie😅😅😅 but I think Hellboy Ron Perlman version is the better and real origin story. Maybe the Hellboy David harbour version is good in CGI and the other effect but the storyline is very awful.

They did...it's been on the channel for a month or two now.
This movie was okay... I mean I didn't care for the Hellboy makeup here, but it was okay otherwise (a bit gross, yes... I mean they could have avoided the whole gross kiss and the blood and the guts and the icky stuff). I still prefer the first Hellboy starring Ron Perlman.

I liked this move as, and understand other peoples have opinions against it. I appreciate that this movie decided to go the way of early 80's and 90's animes when it came to the anime horror level of destruction.

yes, this is not the first hellboy, in fact it's just a waste of time, both making it and watching it.
I like the first 2 movies as much as the next person, but I will never understand the amount of hate for this. Yes I know, del Toro and Perlman, yada yada yada, but come on. The worst reboot ever? Hell, there were several worse reboots in 2019 alone. This was fun enough for what it was.
