Been playing for a few months now and il be upgrading to the deluxe edition not because i want the added cosmetic stuff but simply to show my appreciation to this team. Not only are they passionate but clearly they are putting in the work as shown by all the improvements and changes being brought to the game.

@@glenmcl Explain why, the game is made in Unity which is design to make porting to other platforms very straightforward. The UI in the game seems like it could lend itself to a controller pretty easily. They'll need some redesign but I think a 6 months to a year is doable.

I’ve been playing it this past week and I’ve never been more excited to throw away build guides and just see what a character is really capable of. Excited to see some new content coming. Thank you for making a good game.
Aye this game is so friendly to really just do your own build, you can chop and change easily and without being punished harshly for it so you can experiment. Pretty much every build is viable at all content, of course there are some top tier builds, but people won't be running around with cookie cutter builds. So easy to tailor to your specific style.
Yep that's one of the things I really like about this game it's really forgiving with the builds so you can just go wild in experimenting with what you want.
All of you people at EHG should be so damn proud of what you have managed to accomplish, the amount of improvement from the pre-alpha to this is noting less than astonishing! You deserve all of the success for the amount of love and effort you have poured into this game, so impressive!

Suggestion for a new mod: I hope we can get a new (bigger) mod like “Defense of Cyrangar” (in Diablo Immortal) in the future. A higher level of cooperation of 16 players (4x4) to defend a hill or a pyramid from being attacked from all four sides. So that the progress of the demons is of different intensity, which would require some players to leave their positions and go to help the weaker ones. Ordinary soldiers (bots) would hold back the onslaught of demons instead of barricades. All over the map, flags would be placed instead of towers. Defenders (bots in cordons with space between them for heroes to pass through) emerge from inside a structure (corridors in a pyramid or tunnels in a hill) to defend the positions (hold the advance) until the flag falls. Where the demons push hard, the heroes have to retreat to a higher position (there would be 4 + 1 levels). When help arrives, the position can be reversed and the flag re-established (bots come out again). Players would have to monitor the situation on the map (and to use portals to move to remote freed/safe platforms). The demons would announce their advance with a trumpet. At the end, all 16 players are on the highest flat platform with the last double flag in the middle (no more bots there). Weak heroes should last at least 30 minutes, while strong ones should last more than an hour… Also, it would be nice if we could get legendary gear for wizard, mount animals (skill instead of teleport or some other). Unicorn (white with a little purple) as the base variant. That animal would be different depending on the environment in which the hero is (zone). Camel for desert, polar bear for snow, deer for forest, tiger in the jungle… Replaces primary attack. This skill, when activated again, can start a mini stampede with a small elephant at the head, for a few seconds (call of the wild zoo). He can randomly ride a small elephant, a huge panther, a zebra, a lion, an ostrich, a huge wolf, a brown bear, and so on. If you like the proposal, send it to someone who could influence the development team. I LOVE THIS GAME! I play a lot d2, d4 and PoE (rotating on seasons) but I was tired of reading and following guides. I jumped on the early access of last epoch a month ago and already got 2 characters with builds the are exceptionally fun and I've made them myself without looking at a single guide, and this is amazing.. it just so relaxing to do whatever seems fun for your character without fearing that it will end up trash.. every choice you make it's viable and you are free to play whatever is fun for you

Yeah. Same here. I backed it on Kickstarter, then my gaming computer died. I didn't have the money to repair it for a long time, and when I finally did, I had forgotten about this game and my backing of it. Then I see it on Steam and I was like, "Oh, yeah!" I contacted support, got a Steam Key, and played it this weekend. Didn't know it was heading for full release this week, but I'm glad I remembered it.
@@davidloya4691 I tried it out around 2 years ago as well, it was okey, with potential to become great. I've just got so used of big studios squandering their opportunity, that I wasn't expecting this to become as big as it already is, there is hope it will not disappoint.
Been a proud supporter of LE for almost a year now, I absolutely love the game. Last Epoch is the best option FOR ME because it fills that sweet spot between not too difficult diablo and "over complicated" PoE and who knows, maybe it'll get me into PoE at some point. I used to play old diablo games but it is Last Epoch that made me wanna learn everything about the game and be creative with the builds. In Poe on the other hand I got really overwhelmed with the number of nodes to choose from (trust me, for the beginner who does not want to depend mainly on the guides that was A LOT). If you're like me, definitely check this game out! Also if you have not played ARPG before I'd also highly suggest to begin your journey with last epoch.

I bought the game fairly recently (somewhere at around the Runemaster release) and i can honestly say it been a long time since ive found an ARPG that i truly enjoyed like this but this game is something special. Everyone at EHG should be really proud of the game and the community youve built around it and i can only hope it continues for a long time like everyone else who enjoys this game.
Been keeping my eye on this game for years but never got around to play. After the unfortunate “meh-ness” of Diablo 4, this looks exciting. Hopefully this game is as good as it looks and has plenty of support by the devs who obviously have a passion for ARPGs.

How come you had to gender lock classes? No chance it could have been at the very least a basic character generator like diablo 3 or 4(shudder) instead of a hardlock? Also puzzled how you can make the were-forms so stylized and good looking, but the paladin/knight character looks hella goofy.
You guys have something special on your hands. You can see the attention and care you put in this game. I leveled 2 characters to monolith this week and both levels were awesome. I'm looking forward to Falconer so much. I also look forward to supporting you in the future with cosmetics. I've already played $35 worth of the game and it hasn't even launched yet.

Are you gonna add subtitles to the cutscenes? Because I instantly refunded your POS game for not having the most basic accessibility feature, which made it so I couldn't follow the intro cutscenes. I found a 5-year-old thread asking for subs, and most devs don't take half a decade to add them

I'm excited. Won't be able to play on release day but Thursday I'm planning to jump in. From the demos I have seen so far, it just shows how much love, sweat, and tears went into this. Happy to see creators with this level of passion.

I'm near 500 hours, only arpg i've put single player time into. For awhile there was no online. All i really want to say is at 500 hours the hype is still there, and it's still fun.
First played this game in early access back in 2019. It was a breath of fresh air then and it has come a long way since! So excited for EHG and for us ARPG fans. This has been -- and I'm sure will continue to be -- a fun ride :)
I backed this game on kickstarter. I have over 200 hours in LE alpha and beta. What I see here and now has exceeded my wildest expectations. You have been fantastic in faithfully listening to the community's opinion, and for me that was enough to give you my undying support, but what I see here is triple-A game stuff. Simply wonderful.

I was an over 3,000 hour Grim Dawn player a few years back. I haven't played this game yet but I've been following a lot of the content and I'm hoping for a fantastic lunch for you guys. Chances are I'm going to buy the game, I'm just going to wait to see how it all plays out after lunch.
They are launching 1.0 with a chunk of the story missing, unfinished. Why not just finish the fucking game instead of releasing 1.0? What do they gain from such a half baked release? Did they run out of money and hope a 1.0 will bring in revenue? Because that is the only reason I can think of. Or they signed up with a publisher who has made such demands? Imagine paying someone to paint the Mona Lisa, and only get's it 75% the way done and demands you pay them, because they are done and don't want to paint anymore (or some other bullshit). You wouldn't tolerate that, why tolerate the shit these gaming companies push on us?

That'll be really difficult. It's minimum 2 years away from console. If you've played PC you'll understand why.
@@glenmcl Explain why, the game is made in Unity which is design to make porting to other platforms very straightforward. The UI in the game seems like it could lend itself to a controller pretty easily. They'll need some redesign but I think a 6 months to a year is doable.
The size of the studio is the biggest thing slowing porting to consoles.

Great job EHG, regardless of what happens after this week you really made something special and somehow managed to out develop a much larger and well funded Blizzard team. You might be small but have been brilliant in your approach to systems and your response to fans is second to none.

Aye this game is so friendly to really just do your own build, you can chop and change easily and without being punished harshly for it so you can experiment. Pretty much every build is viable at all content, of course there are some top tier builds, but people won't be running around with cookie cutter builds. So easy to tailor to your specific style.
Yep that's one of the things I really like about this game it's really forgiving with the builds so you can just go wild in experimenting with what you want.

I got last epoch in ealry access and not regret buying it! Awesome game, I'm myself mainly POE player, but I bounce between POE and Last Epoch all time. Suggestion for a new mod: I hope we can get a new (bigger) mod like “Defense of Cyrangar” (in Diablo Immortal) in the future. A higher level of cooperation of 16 players (4x4) to defend a hill or a pyramid from being attacked from all four sides. So that the progress of the demons is of different intensity, which would require some players to leave their positions and go to help the weaker ones. Ordinary soldiers (bots) would hold back the onslaught of demons instead of barricades. All over the map, flags would be placed instead of towers. Defenders (bots in cordons with space between them for heroes to pass through) emerge from inside a structure (corridors in a pyramid or tunnels in a hill) to defend the positions (hold the advance) until the flag falls. Where the demons push hard, the heroes have to retreat to a higher position (there would be 4 + 1 levels). When help arrives, the position can be reversed and the flag re-established (bots come out again). Players would have to monitor the situation on the map (and to use portals to move to remote freed/safe platforms). The demons would announce their advance with a trumpet. At the end, all 16 players are on the highest flat platform with the last double flag in the middle (no more bots there). Weak heroes should last at least 30 minutes, while strong ones should last more than an hour…
Also, it would be nice if we could get legendary gear for wizard, mount animals (skill instead of teleport or some other). Unicorn (white with a little purple) as the base variant. That animal would be different depending on the environment in which the hero is (zone). Camel for desert, polar bear for snow, deer for forest, tiger in the jungle… Replaces primary attack. This skill, when activated again, can start a mini stampede with a small elephant at the head, for a few seconds (call of the wild zoo). He can randomly ride a small elephant, a huge panther, a zebra, a lion, an ostrich, a huge wolf, a brown bear, and so on. If you like the proposal, send it to someone who could influence the development team.

I LOVE THIS GAME! I play a lot d2, d4 and PoE (rotating on seasons) but I was tired of reading and following guides. I jumped on the early access of last epoch a month ago and already got 2 characters with builds the are exceptionally fun and I've made them myself without looking at a single guide, and this is amazing.. it just so relaxing to do whatever seems fun for your character without fearing that it will end up trash.. every choice you make it's viable and you are free to play whatever is fun for you

I backed it on Kickstarter, then my gaming computer died. I didn't have the money to repair it for a long time, and when I finally did, I had forgotten about this game and my backing of it.
Then I see it on Steam and I was like, "Oh, yeah!" I contacted support, got a Steam Key, and played it this weekend. Didn't know it was heading for full release this week, but I'm glad I remembered it.

Started playing about 5 days ago and I've been having a blast so far. Really looking forward to what the future brings to this game.
Been a proud supporter of LE for almost a year now, I absolutely love the game. Last Epoch is the best option FOR ME because it fills that sweet spot between not too difficult diablo and "over complicated" PoE and who knows, maybe it'll get me into PoE at some point. I used to play old diablo games but it is Last Epoch that made me wanna learn everything about the game and be creative with the builds. In Poe on the other hand I got really overwhelmed with the number of nodes to choose from (trust me, for the beginner who does not want to depend mainly on the guides that was A LOT). If you're like me, definitely check this game out! Also if you have not played ARPG before I'd also highly suggest to begin your journey with last epoch.

Hopefully this game is as good as it looks and has plenty of support by the devs who obviously have a passion for ARPGs.
If this is your first video game, then: Please don't turn into a modern day AAA game development studio. And keep hiring people that did not work in the gaming industry before. You guys did such a great job with Last Epoch. Don't let corporate greed destroy the passion. See you in Eterra!

How come you had to gender lock classes? No chance it could have been at the very least a basic character generator like diablo 3 or 4(shudder) instead of a hardlock?
Also puzzled how you can make the were-forms so stylized and good looking, but the paladin/knight character looks hella goofy.
Sorry, character customization is a "must" of mine. Even Titan Quest in 2006 let you choose your character's gender.
You guys have something special on your hands. You can see the attention and care you put in this game. I leveled 2 characters to monolith this week and both levels were awesome. I'm looking forward to Falconer so much. I also look forward to supporting you in the future with cosmetics. I've already played $35 worth of the game and it hasn't even launched yet.
I just want to say thank you for all your efforts. I respect anyone who puts passion into anything, and Last Epoch's full passion is clearly visible in everything you guys do. I will support this game for years to come!

Are you gonna add subtitles to the cutscenes? Because I instantly refunded your POS game for not having the most basic accessibility feature, which made it so I couldn't follow the intro cutscenes. I found a 5-year-old thread asking for subs, and most devs don't take half a decade to add them

I'm excited. Won't be able to play on release day but Thursday I'm planning to jump in. From the demos I have seen so far, it just shows how much love, sweat, and tears went into this. Happy to see creators with this level of passion.

I'm near 500 hours, only arpg i've put single player time into. For awhile there was no online. All i really want to say is at 500 hours the hype is still there, and it's still fun.
First played this game in early access back in 2019. It was a breath of fresh air then and it has come a long way since! So excited for EHG and for us ARPG fans. This has been -- and I'm sure will continue to be -- a fun ride :)

I struggle to find any reason why I should continue play D4 after this game is released... Please help me! I believe, I am not alone in this thoughts

If D4 nails the itemization rework in S4, I will play it. Otherwise, I will ignore D4 and let it cook

I backed this game on kickstarter. I have over 200 hours in LE alpha and beta. What I see here and now has exceeded my wildest expectations. You have been fantastic in faithfully listening to the community's opinion, and for me that was enough to give you my undying support, but what I see here is triple-A game stuff. Simply wonderful.

I'm so excited to come back for the launch. Truly a game where "visuals comes second" in the early access but daaaamn there's so much goodness in here, from the tooltip to the updated lighting and models. Amazing!
I will dare to say it: If there will be a "best aRPG of 2024" reward - it will go to Last Epoch. So far it is hands down best aRPG I have ever played.
Can't wait for the final release. I played way too much in EA in offline mode. I am gonna re-create my character in online mode.

I was an over 3,000 hour Grim Dawn player a few years back. I haven't played this game yet but I've been following a lot of the content and I'm hoping for a fantastic lunch for you guys. Chances are I'm going to buy the game, I'm just going to wait to see how it all plays out after lunch.

Last Epoc has become what Diablo 4 never did
This is crazy this game is something else can't wait to play it
They are launching 1.0 with a chunk of the story missing, unfinished. Why not just finish the fucking game instead of releasing 1.0? What do they gain from such a half baked release? Did they run out of money and hope a 1.0 will bring in revenue? Because that is the only reason I can think of. Or they signed up with a publisher who has made such demands? Imagine paying someone to paint the Mona Lisa, and only get's it 75% the way done and demands you pay them, because they are done and don't want to paint anymore (or some other bullshit). You wouldn't tolerate that, why tolerate the shit these gaming companies push on us?
