Reynad's The Bazaar Looks Amazing

The Bazaar is the new card game (now being called a hero builder) from Reynad. The game has been in development since 2018 and is finally releasing into closed beta in October of 2024. The game looks really good and in this video I explain what it is and why I'm excited for it.

I bought a founders pack because I’ve been hyped for this game for a looong time, but I have to say from everything I’ve seen it is definitely an auto-battler and not as much a card game. I’m worried it’ll be too simplistic but it’s hard to judge how the games will go.

I think it's more its own thing. Definitely not a card game in the more traditional sense.
The auto-battler aspect of the game was initially off-putting to me since I don't really like or play auto-battlers. But after I've seen more of the game I've been sold on the idea. I'm really hoping it's as fun as it seems it might be.

This game looks and feels like "we've seen it all before"... What kind of lore are they going to create for this? Really like card games but keep my expectations very low for now...

I think it's fair to take the wait and see approach and a lot of people seem to be doing that. Won't know for sure how good the game is until it's actually out and people get their hands on it.
For the lore it sounds like they plan to consistently expand it and eventually branch out to other mediums if the game does well.
I do think the game is fairly unique and pretty different from anything out there right now.
