I take the amount of miles for the load and I divide it by my M.P.G. (Miles Per Gallon) For Example: 800 miles and 7 miles Per gallon. 800/7 = 114.28 so I would put 115 gallons.

Not actually, the back haul will kill you. But the mileage of the run is not sustainable because most of the time it doesn’t gross over 1k , 600- 800 mostly, but freight in general out of Laredo is ok! But getting there is the problem and brokers know that.
@@cookinginthehammerlane I like super ego. The one problem I’m having is getting them to layout for me the weekly & monthly expense cycle so I can keep a consistent averages on my expense management. My payroll coordinator will not give me all the details. What can I do? Here’s an example I grossed 8k but ended up with 2200 in expenses & my fuel management was 4k. I’m ok with the fuel but the expense cycle has been pretty consistent around 1400 or so. I’m just trying to educate myself for better success 😅
@@christopheralexander1131 na you can take home much more. It’s just a matter of understanding the whole system & making it work for you. For instance, last week I grossed 10k but I knew 4700 would be a fuel expense but because of my lack of information on weekly & monthly expenses I can’t fully measure what the outcome will be 🤷🏾♂️ yet. Once I get that down I think I can clear 2800-4K a week
Pure gold, thank you for sharing! Hard earned knowledge that he didn't have to share, but does! God bless you!
Absolutely 💯
How much fuel you purchase for each load
I take the amount of miles for the load and I divide it by my M.P.G.
(Miles Per Gallon)

Good stuff, appreciate it. So Super Ego let's you book your own loads using DAT board?
With superego, are you picking the loads that you want to run? Or they give you the option to accept loads or deny

I live in Houston Texas can you please help me workout a good running lane
Rates down 20% and falling fuel up 14% and rising hold on tight it's gonna be a hell of a ride🚚
Does super ego have direct shippers and or do they just utilize load boards?
Load boards for now, but I got a notion that they are looking into other options to capitalize on!
@@cookinginthehammerlane so do you pay for DAT? is that who they use?
I've seen 3900 and 4k loads running home to Oregon
Do you have drivers working for you?
Is that fee if $ 90.00 one time or every month
One time
Do you need to have your Hazmat Endorsement to drive for Super Ego?
No you don’t!
