Yeah, we can keep them either of the 2 ways, even says so in the manual. I chose this method instead.
is it really a 5.1? i found some comments on other video said that 5.1 sony ht rt3 is a fraud🤷♂️ I really need to buy a new set of speaker as of now
yes, it is 5.1. and no it's not a fraud 😂. Sony's one of the biggest brands it won't even think of doing a fraud. I'm sure they had their reasons to make that comment. It is a real surround sound. Just keep the setting clear audio plus on so the sound goes to all the speakers when listening to music. When watching movies you need the movie to be encoded in Dolby Digital or simply ac3 or A/52.Finally, you need to be connected with the HDMI, SPDF so to enjoy surround sound. Hope this helps. @@Rossi0489 Hey, Does the Movie mode gives 5.1 output, when I put it on movie mode the surround speakers don't work, and in clear audio all speakers work but it gives same output as the main soundbar any help!?

I am confused with this vs s40r vs zebronic 9800and 9400.pls advise me what to do.i am getting biased with reviews multiple times.I hardly use for movie and want for mobile bluetooth and pc surfing youtube

I think you should go for Sony S40R. Here are my reasons:
1. This is basically an enhanced version of my speakers Sony HT-rt3 meaning its better without a doubt. It simply corrected all of the flaws that were there with my speakers.
2. I remember doing a lot of research during my time before buying this speaker and I came across Zebroncs 9800. It is better than HT-RT3 in every sense except for the fact that my Sony speakers work best when connected with bluetooth. Simply for this reason I bought the sony speakers. And since you are looking for mobile connectivity and pc surfing, I think zebronics will not work well. Also because the power output is very very low, just 450 watts!
3. Zebronics 9400 WAS a good choice. It is a very old speaker, old technology. It came out alongside Sony S20R, not even S30R. So it's old. Plus its power output is 525 watts while S40r's power output is 600 watts.

If i select sound field to Movie, then back speakers don't work. In my system back speakers only work in "Clear Audio+" mode. Please provide solutions, so that back speakers also produce sound in Movie mode
Hi. Apologies for the delay in response. I just checked your query on my speakers. However, I'm able to hear sound even when the Movie sound field is selected. And enabling or disabling the Clear Audio + still gives sound output in all speakers. Do note that the sound that comes from the rear speakers is less and won't be equal to the front speakers, I'm sure you already know that. Maybe the lower sound output is the cause of confusion. Do let me know if it worked for you else I'll see what I can do.
