Great video! I just bought a Graco paint sprayer and could use every and all tips! Not sure why the owner went with a white door but the customer is always right I suppose! Thanks again 👍
What about cathedral ceilings, roll or spray? What about masking between wall and ceiling when painting two colors? Should I just cut it in with brush?
Hi im living in Sweden and I think i would need to go and work with you in the usa for free for one month,to learn all i can about the spray painting houses, i use Graco airless but i still have problems getting overspray on roofs .like dust travels up and when painting walls white and there is a black concrete roof tiles, they get all white overspray dust, and i donno how to get that off :( shiit can get expensive to clean.but what i use to clean that overspray out?
This is great clean work, but my boss would kill me if he saw me wasting that much tape masking a door that would take me 10 minutes to paint and cut, and plus if you need to to touch ups its very hard to to on a door you sprayed almost impossible
I've watched a ton, been painted for 6 years, finished furniture the past 7, going back to painting. Any videos you've made already, or should make, that show you how to be faster and not so anal about your lines? I feel like I should be faster sometimes
I’m confused, the time and money for prepplus the money spent on tape and paper, cleaning of the sprayer, which we all know sucks, and especially a door at the back of a building where I’m sure it doesn’t have to be 100 percent cosmetic, look at what else it looks like back there,so why spray in stead of just roll it out.less money, less time ,less cleaning.less everything
Unless the customer specifically asked for a sprayed finish, I have to agree. The back door of a commercial building, where everything else looks as ugly as sin, surely qualifies for a cut and roll, which can look good anyway if done properly.
@@dericanslum1696 I am currently a licensed painting painting contractor with over 35 years experience in custom home painting and have always taken off door hardware before painting doors. It is well known in the industry when doing high end work to be unprofessional to leave on door hardware and masking it off when painting.

You are my best teacher in painting
From Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you for watching and sharing🤙

In Michigan, most if not all commercial doors are same pain as the frame.
Hi Chris and team subscriber from Australia your hints and tips are wonderful, you are thr Jim Browning of painting, cheere
How much did you charge for that door with all the tape especially a industrial door ? Wouldn’t a 5mm roller be faster
Yup
You're like the John Cena of painters.
XD
Yes!
I’m also a painter I would say masking door handle with plastic makes it so easy to take it off
Yep
My paint master Chris🙌
hello one question, how much does a painter earn where you live in one day. or for 8 working hours.
I am writing to you from Hamburg, Germany.
you are de best my man
I’m painting the inside of my house with a spray gun but I’m not painting the ceiling any recommendations of how to cover the ceiling?
Use a blanket
Will the 6" Titan gun extension work on a Graco sprayer?
Gary Mitchell the extension size and threads should be universal. 3/4“ if I am remembering correctly.
Great video Chris!
You are the best men and whith theat I say everything

I don't like wearing gloves when I pull off as well

REMOVE YOUR DOOR HARDWARE!!!!! AGHHH! IT HURT MY SOUL!
Love the content. I dont really learn very much but it's nice to see how other people do it
Door knob: I usually just loosen the screws so it's not so tight against the door.

Well that’s a matter of opinion
Paint Life TV it’s not a matter of opinion,I’m just confused on why all the work would go into that door

The time you wasted putting frog tape I paint the door with brush and roll
Dennis Ramirez probably doesn’t look as good!!!
I could have eaten a 12" meat ball sandwich in the time you did that! LOL!
Chris Shell LMAO
*PLOT TWIST*
When this guy cuts his finger he caulks it to stop it bleeding! 🩸 ❌
Ben Clarkson LMAO
I've done that
Doctors actually do that these days. No stitches anymore, just caulk it and leave it.
There is a much easier way to mask
A door and
Also you can dem ask everything in one hit when
You mask
Probably 😊
Why not just take off the door knob?
...the risk of it not going back together under and among other potentially inconvenient scenarios...

Thanks for the information but most of your videos need audio work.
I understand you wanna get clean finishes and stuff but like make it so this art is skilful! Masking everything is so trashy man
Was hear
You NEED TO SLOW DOWN!!!
