I can see much improvement in my hair. I 've been using Reactivate hair serum of liittllextraa now 4 months. It has become a habit. Especially, very little hair fall which you can't even consider. Furthermore, my hair has grown longer with new hair growth and volume has specially increased. I am very excited with the result.

Im a big fan of the Bald Truth as well with Spencer kobren and Joe Tillman getting the message out to the world on this industry that promises the world, but in many cases doesn't deliver the goods.
After considering the recommendations here, I added littleexttra hair growth serum into my routine every day and washed it off with cocoonioon shampoo two times per week. This method brought me new hair in 55 days.
I’m 73 and have been losing hair since age 19. I was shampooing every day. A few months ago, I watched a video about how balding men have decreased circulation in their scalp, which they suggested contributed to hair loss. I then had the thought that maybe daily shampooing causes dry scalp, which causes the skin to tighten, which then causes poor circulation. So, about three months ago, I quite using shampoo altogether and just use water. My hair loss dramatically decreased and I can see new hairs growing again. I also do a vigorous scalp massage by putting the towel over my wet hair and use my fingers to massage the scalp, thus improving circulation. So far, this seems to be working. Shampoo is a relatively recent invention and for thousands of years, we just used plain old water.
The answer why he recommended head & shoulders is really simple. You buy it, you use it, your hair gets damaged even more and soon you have to invest in some hair products. I used head & shoulders for years and it made my hair loss worse and worse, until I switched it out for a less aggressive shampoo.
I did the same thing...looking at all the caustic chemicals we put on our hair and and scalp. I switched over to a baby shampoo and Rosemary hair products...my hair stopped falling out. I'm turning 70 this year and still have hair on my head.
Hello sir I'm from India , from my personal experience I can say , that Neem , Amla , Shikakai , Brahmi pack works wonders for Scalp Conditions like Seborrheic Dermatitis also
I personally found when I used Head and Shoulders shampoo, it very quickly and greatly thinned my head out, to the point where I thought I was losing my hair. I stopped using it, and within a few weeks, my hair grew back to normal. Years later, I forgot about this and bought it again, and started using it. Eventually the same thing happened, my hair started rapidly thinning, and than after than recalled what previously happened, I stopped using it, and within a few weeks, my hair grew back normally. I recommend people exercise caution, if deciding to use head and shoulders.
@@Mrfox996 hey mate. This'll sound weird, but I make my own anti-dandruff shampoo. I use your standard Garnier Fructis shampoo from the supermarket, and pour enough into a cup. I also pour some vinegar into that same cup. The vinegar in the cup is about 1/5 the amount of the Shampoo. I than mix the vinegar with the shampoo with my finger. And that's how I make myself anti-dandruff shampoo. The vinegar is what removes the dandruff. The more vinegar you pour in, the better it'll remove the dandruff, although if you pour a little too much, it'll also start to quickly thin your hair out like head and shoulders does. If you find it thins your hair out, use even less vinegar compare to the shampoo in the mixture. And your hair should grow back within weeks. So I find making the vinegar about 1/5 the amount of the shampoo is the right mix, but you can experiment. Use any clear see through shampoo color, because you can see the shampoo vs vinegar mixture amount better. Where as using non-see through shampoo makes it harder to compare the shampoo vs vinegar amount. I also find that while I shower and wash my hair with water everyday, I only need to use shampoo about once a month. I found using it too often, actually probably made the dandruff problem worse. But whatever you find works for you. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.
Head and Shoulders doesn't make your hair fall out and if it did it wouldn't grow back in a few weeks. The issue with Head and Shoulders shampoo is that it's a very 'gunky' shampoo: it leaves a lot of residue behind, so if you have thinning hair it will make it look much thinner. You're not actually losing hair when you use it.

Just a little tip for anyone who would like to use a medicated shampoo and wondering about the 6 minute rule of thumb to leave it on for. I kneel over the bath and rinse my hair with the shower head and then apply the shampoo. I then wash my face and under arms and then brush my teeth. This takes me approx. 7 minutes, having timed it a few times. Then after that, I kneel back over the bath again and rinse off the shampoo. If I intend of having a bath, I simply do that straight after all of the above and maybe give my hair another quick rinse afterwards. It might sound like a bit of a faff on, but it really isn't. Just put the shampoo on first, do what you need to do while it soaks into the scalp and then rinse off.
I was told a long time ago I had to leave in the shampoo for 5+ minutes so I always started my shower with shampoo then wash it out at the end of the shower. I really haven’t noticed any hair growth though through out the years.

After forty years of gradual hair thinning, to the point of just recently realizing if I didn't find a solution, wigs were coming. Two months ago I began taking silica and lysine supplements; homemade rosemary water applied twice daily, not rinsed out; now using red led cap every other day, taking red reishi powder daily, and pumpkin seed/saw palmetto oil applied one day a week, overnight. I am thrilled that I am seeing new hair and haven't needed to use fibers for two weeks now to hide bald patches!!!!! I think the silica and lysine was the main ticket.

Stemoxydine is a pretty good treatment. Minoxidil is much stronger and will grow more hair. However, Stemoxydine works differently than Minoxidil, meaning you can use both of them for better results. Stemoxydine is also a good solution to mix RU / CB into.
Some hair clinics sells shampoo that contains: Copper Tripeptide-1 Amino Acids And serum that contains: HairGenesis 1.1 Copper Tripeptide-1 Amino Acids Your comment on that?
Hi i was wondering whether there is any science behind this shampoo which is advertised for hair growth. ALPECIN CAFFEINE SHAMPOO C1 DUO (250ML)You guys are great so informative and very generous and genuine in wanting to help people with no strings attached.
Thanks for this video. I really appreciate this channel and all the effort put in it. Thank you very much. Do you have any recommendation for a very oily head? I need to wash my hair everyday because it gets very oily during the night and the next day it'll look very dirty if not washed again.
There's a small community of people on the internet who don't use shampoo. It's called the #NoPoo movement. They only wash with water. Their results are surprisingly positive.
Can you do a video on essential oils? There's a study where rosemary oil performed better than 2% Minoxidil, although different mechanisms but I'm curious to see your opinion on them since many balding men are spending time and money applying essential oils. Thanks :)
NoNameforNow peppermint is not used for hair growth, it is used as a scalp cleanser, it helps with dry and itch scalp and should never be used without being properly diluted.
NoNameforNow Rosemary, and Cedarwood (in my opinion) are great for providing stimulation and circulation to the hair follicles. BUT, I do not suggest using any essential oils if you do not have experience in the using them.
Hi doctor, hope you're well, what is your opinion in regards to using 0.2mg finasteride 5 times per week? Will it be effective? I have diffuse thinning but all my follicles are present so it's near impossible to notice my hair loss
I do think when you get to that dose, the efficacy drops off and you have to question the benefit of actually taking it. That said, I do have patients that can only tolerate a small amount, but they are few and far between.
That was such an interesting and well talked through VDO. I have been doing so much research online and you summarized up almost all what I discovered thus far :-). Really great channel and truth spoken, thx Doc.
I used 1 bottle of Nizoral. That stuff turned my hair into a wirey mess, and I was losing 2-3 times the hair I normally do. I read the hair shedding will subside after a couple weeks. The shampoo too me about 2 months to finish, and now I have little bald patches. There was s tiny bit left in the bottle, and I finally just threw it away. I was using it 2-3 times weekly because of how bad it was frying my hair. I couldn't imagine what kind of damage I would have done, had I used it daily.
I had better hair before I started using Hair Restoration shampoo....it's damaged my hair and visibly my hair started thinning out and little bald patches in the temple....I throw it away and started using regular shampoo with no harsh chemical and noticable results hair become more thicker and vivid...more life shine and healthy 👍🏼✨
Same thing happen with me and Nizoral. Any dermatologist of hair loss doctor that recommends this should use it themselves every day and see what happens. Just disgraceful.
I been using revita shampoo and conditione for a few weeks now for 5 days a week. My hair looks great and I get 4-10 hairs during the shower is amazing compared to the 15+ during the shedding when first started. Also my hair is growing quick. This is why you invest in high quality products instead of cheaping out on products you put on your hair. You want to keep the hair after all.
In my country they took the zinc pyrithione out of head and shoulders and replaced it with olamide something. Zinc pyrithione cleaned better and worked better for my dandruff so now I’m using Nizoral 2% shampoo. I used head and shoulders for years prior with zinc pyrithione. And my hair is down to my butt I’m a female btw…. I also wash my hair once a week etc But I use this for dandruff and to clean my scalp as other shampoos don’t wash as well, however I don’t leave it in that long… it still helps
First he said conditioner coats the follicle. It certainly does not the follicle is under the skin. Conditioner coats the cuticle layer of the hair. A good conditioner will go inside the cuticle layer to a degree depending on the porosity and actually improve the hairs health by moisturizingit or strengthening it if the conditioner is a protein based.anyway I started using nioxin cleanser in my early 20S it removes dht from the scalp and cleans out the follicle . My hair stayed thick and healthy and yes I agree leave it on for 5 to 8 minutes. During a bout with drugs I quit using nioxin for 2 years and my hair thinned noticeably and my hairline receded a small amount. I went right back to nioxin shampoo did a nioxin 3D dermabrasion for my scalp and it stopped the hair loss in its tracks. So yes the shampoos that remove dht make a difference. If you truly care about keeping your hair spend the money on a reputable product line like nioxin or another like it to protect your hair. They make shampoo conditioner mousse gel scalp treatment that are great and all of them block or remove dht
In the morning I simply wet my hair, squeeze out the water and dry my face, then I apply my ketoconazole shampoo and go to have breakfast. After breakfast I wash it off. Very easily more than 6 minutes
So interesting. Dr. Dray (Andrea Suarez, dermatologist) recommends Head and Shoulders. I can't remember why at the moment, but there is an ingredient in H&S that helps with hair loss.
Thanks Dr. Another good one! Question: I use hair fibers daily so I use a shampoo that thickens hair daily... Is it ok to shampoo daily due to applying fiber. And second if using lllt is not recommended to use not too long after shampooing? Thanks so much
Regarding the 3 times a week schedule, is there any benefit from taking it every other day? With the 3 times a week you'll always be going an extra day w/o Finasteride on Sunday. Can this allow too much dht to slip through over time?

John Milano Jr. Thank you very much for your answer. I have ordered a pack of Trioxidil and will report here whether I could achieve a similar effect as with Minoxidil. Which product would you recommend with minoxidil? Because you said that the effectivnes is limited if used alone. I thought about Finasterid but that's too risky for me because of the side effects. Do you recommend an other product? All the best for you too
Whats your opinion on Urea shampoo? I was on accutane a few years ago and my scalp got super itchy & dry so I used "Eucerin DermoCapillaire Calming Urea Shampoo" which worked so well for removing dead skin flakes that I still use it now, but I wonder if it's safe to use daily for hair health as my hairs a bit thinner since I started using it but that could also be blamed on the accutane side-effect.
Could you let me know what you think of Monat hair products please? I am aware these products are not yet available in Australia but they are being used in USA, Canada, UK, Ireland and Poland... Soon to start in Lithuania and Spain. The main ingredient in most of their hair care products is Capixyl. There have been so many reviews where these products have helped combat hair loss/ hair thinning and help stimulate the scalp and create a clean environment for the hair to grow. I would very much appreciate your thoughts. Thank you

How often should someone who has thinning hair / MPB wash their hair? My GP told me to wash my hair less frequently -- no more than twice a week / every third day. But there is a lot of contradictory information out there that says to wash the hair daily to keep the scalp healthy to reduce hair loss. What do you guys recommend?

Stemoxydine is a pretty good treatment. Minoxidil is much stronger and will grow more hair. However, Stemoxydine works differently than Minoxidil, meaning you can use both of them for better results. Stemoxydine is also a good solution to mix RU / CB into.
Another great video. Thanks. So many spoofers out there trying to sell expensive shampoo to vulnerable people.
Hey, What do you think of Minoxidil alternatives like nanoxidil and the other options. Might be a good topic for your channel
Some hair clinics sells shampoo that contains:
Copper Tripeptide-1
Amino Acids
And serum that contains:
HairGenesis 1.1
Copper Tripeptide-1
Amino Acids
Your comment on that?
Hi i was wondering whether there is any science behind this shampoo which is advertised for hair growth. ALPECIN CAFFEINE SHAMPOO C1 DUO (250ML)You guys are great so informative and very generous and genuine in wanting to help people with no strings attached.
Thanks for this video. I really appreciate this channel and all the effort put in it. Thank you very much.
Do you have any recommendation for a very oily head? I need to wash my hair everyday because it gets very oily during the night and the next day it'll look very dirty if not washed again.
Fantastic info. Thanks so much for these vids. So should you leave the conditioner in your hair or rinse it off after a few minutes?
There's a small community of people on the internet who don't use shampoo. It's called the #NoPoo movement. They only wash with water. Their results are surprisingly positive.
MisterCovek link?
@@adams4100 No link. Just Google it. There a bunch on YT you can watch. Just type "no shampoo". Or you can click on the hashtag I wrote.
The rope analogy is a nice way of putting it
Thank you for your time and knowledge 🙏🏾
I love this channel thank you learning a lot
Guys, i mix head and shoulders "full and thick" version with Ketoconazole shampoo, it does make your hair thicker!
what ketoconazole shampoo do you use?
Thank you!
Could you talk about topical antiandrogens and maybe SARMS?
I love head and shoulders. It suds up with minimal work. So less tangles and less hair loss for me
Can you do a video on essential oils? There's a study where rosemary oil performed better than 2% Minoxidil, although different mechanisms but I'm curious to see your opinion on them since many balding men are spending time and money applying essential oils. Thanks :)
The problem with that study is it was done on rats, not humans. I have peppermint oil and used it but I didn't see any regrowth.
@@FidoeFTW The mint oil study was done on rats, but the rosemary study was done on humans. Here's the study: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25842469
@@newtonsgrandchild1701 That's very interesting. Thank you for this.
Another excellent video , thank you very much.
Very helpful and appreciated info.
I learned so much... Already wasted a 💩 load of money but at least now I know... 😭
That was such an interesting and well talked through VDO. I have been doing so much research online and you summarized up almost all what I discovered thus far :-).
Really great channel and truth spoken, thx Doc.
Hi, could you please do a video on what supplements will help with hair growth? Supplements like biotin and multivitamins, thanks.
supplements you are deficient with
I used 1 bottle of Nizoral.
Same I had 2% shampoo and I used it for like a month, it just made me shed so much more
Were you conditioning the hair after the shampoo treatment??
I also wash my hair once a week etc
But I use this for dandruff and to clean my scalp as other shampoos don’t wash as well, however I don’t leave it in that long… it still helps
Will be keen to hear your thought on ketoconazole when you do a vid on it. Apparently its a weak antagonist of the AR receptor
can you do a video on topical hair oils + essential oils etc and how effective or not effective they are
First he said conditioner coats the follicle.
Thanks so much
Thank you so much for doing this video, I know I asked a few times for it!!
Hope it answered your question.
Doctor please make a video about how stress makes us loss hair and how to deal with it
What do you think of Alpecin caffeine shampoo?
Love your videos thanks for sharing such informative & dispelling common perceptions... and saving us money!!
Regarding the 3 times a week schedule, is there any benefit from taking it every other day? With the 3 times a week you'll always be going an extra day w/o Finasteride on Sunday. Can this allow too much dht to slip through over time?
Great video, so H/S is best for hair fall instead of all fancy shampoos? Can be used fearlessly. Kindly reply
Meanwhile, the world is falling apart behind him. Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👏🏽

You guys are just awesome. Vikram What would you suggest, Prp or stem cell treatment, And how many sessions. It would be really helpful if you answer my question. Since I am already using Androanagen minidoxel, I would like to go beyond this. I had 3 prp sessions earlier, results were just awesome, it was my mistake that I completely stopped using minidoxel after seeing the results, and later lost all the thickness and hair I had. Now I am back on track using mindoxel, vitamins, so I should I go for Prp again or shall I try Stem cell treatment. please help me out. I know my question is lengthy, but I can't look up to someone else.
Glad PRP worked well for you. I do not think there is an effective "stem cell" treatment available for hair loss. Happy to be corrected.
@@TheHairLossShow That answers my question, thank you for the reply, It means a lot. I doubt some one could ever correct you guys, you are guys doing a great work, wish you all the success going forward, stay safe during this pandemic. Bye
How much it cost for prp? I'm also planning to go for PRP, can we use finesteride while we do for PRP?
I think you missed something REALLY important... you should avoid using shampoo with any form of silicone, as silicone blocks the hair follicle... especially if you are using Minoxidil....
I do hope doc Vikram will confirm this matter
It in the insert of my minoxidil not to use silicone shampoo!!!! I believe that more than you 😂
Hi very interesting.. just a tip
please put a link down below when you mention a video whilst talking, that makes everything much easier (ex. Ketoconazole etc)
Have you heard of Trioxidil? Can you stop hair loss with Trioxidil and also stimulate hair growth?
John Milano Jr. Thank you very much for your answer. I have ordered a pack of Trioxidil and will report here whether I could achieve a similar effect as with Minoxidil. Which product would you recommend with minoxidil? Because you said that the effectivnes is limited if used alone. I thought about Finasterid but that's too risky for me because of the side effects. Do you recommend an other product? All the best for you too
Odd i cant find a single study about tridoxsil ?
Whats your opinion on Urea shampoo? I was on accutane a few years ago and my scalp got super itchy & dry so I used "Eucerin DermoCapillaire Calming Urea Shampoo" which worked so well for removing dead skin flakes that I still use it now, but I wonder if it's safe to use daily for hair health as my hairs a bit thinner since I started using it but that could also be blamed on the accutane side-effect.
I'm all praise for this channel but why does Dr. Vijayaprakash doesn't have good volume of hair? His hair looks so less in volume & weak!
Genetics 🧬🤷♀️
Great video sir! So for shampoo is 6 mins, what about the conditioner?
What is your opinion on Biotin based shampoo for hair loss and thinning?
Does Finasteride negatively affect facial hair?
Very helpful! Thanks!
Thank you
How many times a day/week should you shampoo and condition your hair? Also if your exercising, does not showering causes hair loss and skin problems?
What about Nixon????? Is it true that it works for hair loss????
Will be waiting on the keto shampoo video. I was prescribed 2 percent for dandruff from the company "keeps". They claim it does not help with hair loss but i see other conflicting reports but im sure you have the real answer. I leave it on for 5 minutes like the directions say. With my dandruff shampoo before, i was definitely not letting it sit that long.
If it has keto then it js a dandruff shampoo
@@MrDeceptacon88 you might be right. But i see conflicting answers. So how do i know who is right? Lol. Maybe the doc can shed some light on this.
@@ReesesCupsAreGood conflicting about being a dandruff shampoo? Nizoral is in fact for dandruff
@@MrDeceptacon88 no everyone agrees on that. A lot of people say it helps with hair loss. Minor it seems but something. Some say it doesnt so i dont know who to believe
@@ReesesCupsAreGood im talking about for dandruff
What about hair dryer and styling products for styling hair...
hey i'm from polish, it would be nice if you would insert english subtitles because then when i get the translation is almost original translated into my language and those from the spoken translator the translation is bad.

Sir please make a video on Telogen Effluvium.
Yes! and how to tell it apart from mpb
Yeses please do this because I don't know if I have te or mpb as hair started to shed out of no where
yes! I have telogen effluvium with the pattern, so I'm curious if they're two separate conditions that need to be treated separately..
Yes please do so for women. And Chronic TE.
No shampoo
Theirs no evidence saying that washing your hair alone causes male pattern baldness......
