    13 minute video that could have been done in under 3 minutes. Summary of video:
    1. Shampoo - use whatever will clean your scalp and hair.
    2. Conditioner - coats the hair, protects it, and makes it look thicker.
    3. Medicated shampoo (Nizoral) - not highly effective unless you leave it on your scalp for a minimum of 6 minutes, and even then the results are negligible, per this Dr.

    The time I faced hairfall, I followed all the following to effectively control it:
    Make a habit of doing massage for your scalp into your routine.
    Do not use very hot water when rinsing your hair.
    Protect your hair from too much sweat.
    Use a wide-toothed neem comb to brush out wet hair.
    Cut down on your sugar and processed food consumption.
    Use natural anti hair fall shampoo and hair oil like littleeextra cocconion.
    Maintain a positive mindset for overall well-being.

      This littleexttra cocoonioon has been a part of my routine for about a year now. It has worked wonders for my hair. Even where there were no hair roots, new hair started growing after 5 months. Now, almost a year later, most of my bald area is covered with new hair. I strongly recommend this oil and shampoo to everyone. Just apply it to your scalp for 20 minutes and wash it out the next day.

    I’m 73 and have been losing hair since age 19. I was shampooing every day. A few months ago, I watched a video about how balding men have decreased circulation in their scalp, which they suggested contributed to hair loss. I then had the thought that maybe daily shampooing causes dry scalp, which causes the skin to tighten, which then causes poor circulation. So, about three months ago, I quite using shampoo altogether and just use water. My hair loss dramatically decreased and I can see new hairs growing again. I also do a vigorous scalp massage by putting the towel over my wet hair and use my fingers to massage the scalp, thus improving circulation. So far, this seems to be working. Shampoo is a relatively recent invention and for thousands of years, we just used plain old water.

    Whats your opinion on Urea shampoo? I was on accutane a few years ago and my scalp got super itchy & dry so I used "Eucerin DermoCapillaire Calming Urea Shampoo" which worked so well for removing dead skin flakes that I still use it now, but I wonder if it's safe to use daily for hair health as my hairs a bit thinner since I started using it but that could also be blamed on the accutane side-effect.

    The answer why he recommended head & shoulders is really simple.
    You buy it, you use it, your hair gets damaged even more and soon you have to invest in some hair products.
    I used head & shoulders for years and it made my hair loss worse and worse, until I switched it out for a less aggressive shampoo.

    I personally found when I used Head and Shoulders shampoo, it very quickly and greatly thinned my head out, to the point where I thought I was losing my hair. I stopped using it, and within a few weeks, my hair grew back to normal. Years later, I forgot about this and bought it again, and started using it. Eventually the same thing happened, my hair started rapidly thinning, and than after than recalled what previously happened, I stopped using it, and within a few weeks, my hair grew back normally. I recommend people exercise caution, if deciding to use head and shoulders.

      @Mrfox996 Год назад +1

      What shampoo do you use now?

    • @AlexHellene
      @AlexHellene Год назад +5

      @@Mrfox996 hey mate. This'll sound weird, but I make my own anti-dandruff shampoo.
      I use your standard Garnier Fructis shampoo from the supermarket, and pour enough into a cup. I also pour some vinegar into that same cup. The vinegar in the cup is about 1/5 the amount of the Shampoo. I than mix the vinegar with the shampoo with my finger. And that's how I make myself anti-dandruff shampoo. The vinegar is what removes the dandruff. The more vinegar you pour in, the better it'll remove the dandruff, although if you pour a little too much, it'll also start to quickly thin your hair out like head and shoulders does.
      If you find it thins your hair out, use even less vinegar compare to the shampoo in the mixture. And your hair should grow back within weeks.
      So I find making the vinegar about 1/5 the amount of the shampoo is the right mix, but you can experiment.
      Use any clear see through shampoo color, because you can see the shampoo vs vinegar mixture amount better. Where as using non-see through shampoo makes it harder to compare the shampoo vs vinegar amount.
      I also find that while I shower and wash my hair with water everyday, I only need to use shampoo about once a month. I found using it too often, actually probably made the dandruff problem worse. But whatever you find works for you.
      Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

      Head and Shoulders doesn't make your hair fall out and if it did it wouldn't grow back in a few weeks.
      The issue with Head and Shoulders shampoo is that it's a very 'gunky' shampoo: it leaves a lot of residue behind, so if you have thinning hair it will make it look much thinner.
      You're not actually losing hair when you use it.

I have read that onion juice can provide extra sulfur to support strong and thick hair, thus preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. The sulfur from onions may also help promote collagen production. Collagen in turn helps the production of healthy skin cells and hair growth. Is it true??

I used it for a while, but it's 15 quid for a tiny bottle, so after hearing that shampoo made very little difference anyway, I decided to switch to Head and Shoulders. 1. I have prostate enlargement and I'm treating it with 5mg finasteride. I'm experiencing hair loss at the same time. Is the 5mg all I need to treat both problems or I need to take an additional 1mg for the hair loss?
    2. I initially used finasteride made by Accord Health. I recently went to the pharmacy to buy additional ones but the one by Accord were out of stock. I bought a different brand by Exeter Pharmaceuticals-UK.
    I seem not to get any material of their finasteride on their website or the internet in general.
    Pls, I would like to know if you've heard of this brand and if it is fine for me use it?

      Hi there. I have no additional information on the brand.
      You don't need to increase the dose of finasteride. 5mg will be sufficient for both conditions. You need a proper assessment and if you do have MPHL and are still losing hair, further options need to be discussed.
