Finally, there were many colossal events and a lot of futile investment by the state as a result of the economic boom following the commodity boom in the previous decade. The 2016 crisis was both political and economic (after all, they complement each other). As can be seen from graphs and data, the government of former President Lula was a champion in generating public debt and did not take effective measures to transform the protectionist and anti-market course, which logically did not provide a constant surplus development.

    • @victorhugolima1918
      @victorhugolima1918 4 года назад

      @@drotenkovic Brazil is a very statist country, the base of the hierarchical pyramid does not receive enough opportunities to rise to a higher class. Unfortunately, much is said about democratizing education and expanding access to health, which are often debated in previous governments; We have easy public access to these essential areas for the individual, but with fake quality. We need freedom for capital generation in this country, so sustainably progress will come. I am currently 14 years old and will attend a Federal Institute next year, one of the few public institutions that offers good performances in international evaluations in Brazil (comparable to countries like Switzerland for example), yet Marxist culture is very present, I prefer quality education and growing income than a dependent population that remains mediocre. The more quality education, the greater the general notion and criticality, which is why it is limited, not only here, but also in several Latin American countries or not.

    Japan is such a powerful country and I surmise if they were as big and populous as China, they could easily be the world's greatest superpower. What I don't understand is, they are still not confident enough to dictate their own foreign affairs, but to submit to the will of US.

    It really speaks about the US gigantic economy when US states with smaller populations surpass entire European powers and Chinese provinces with 100 million people. Just see China, that is barely getting close to the US total GDP, and it needs an additional 1000 million people to do that!!

      Even if you do PPP which gives China a huge advantage, only provinces that are separated from China (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau) will reach a high GDP per capita.

      @@wigglebot2368 if u count in the municipal province s like Beijing, Shanghai etc, then you'll have more. A high GDP per capita, according to UN standards, is around $12,000, and China is around $2,000 from that goal.
