The book and the 80s mini series had a much better Death Poem for Yabushige

Really liked the moment whenn Toranaga said ''Why tell a dead man the future'' it was a reference to what Yabushige said about Toranaga to Omi in the early episodes, which could only mean Omi was working for Taoranaga from the start. Amazing short reference.
A perfect ending IMHO.
Ochiba conveniently signing up for her son to get usurped and killed makes no sense considering she kept talking about how she knew Toranaga's secret heart and feared him.
@@vayne-he9yi In history, Toranaga will protect her and the Heir for 15 more years, long after the Council is dead at Sekigahara later this year (1600, year of this story).
@@williambranch4283 "Protect" is a stretch, the heir was always a threat to his rule and once he had enough pretext to get him out of the picture he did. Which ended in the heir committed seppuku once Toranaga put Osaka to siege.

"Battle of Sekigahara 1600 - Sengoku Jidai DOCUMENTARY" ... is the best documentary prior to and up to this decisive battle with some game animation. A slower and more artistic is "Battle of Sekigahara, 1600 AD ⚔ Tokugawa Shogunate is Born". The details of the battle are entirely in agreement ;-)
The novel has ended, but Japanese history is about to get more interesting.
