Fabinho could play in defense as well as DM, so I think DMs transition nicely into defenders if you need them to, the other way around is a bit harder. I couldn't see Virgil as a DM for example. Javier Mascherano played DM for us, but he ended up as a centreback at Barcelona and he was good at it too.
Van Der Berg and 20 million quid, for Calafiori, if the asking price is 42 squidlydiddly's. Is great business .
if he’s anything under 30m he’ll be perfect cus at worst he’d be 4th choice centre back and he could be a backup option in dm for years to come. People forget that u need to buy squad players, endo for example was a class signing as a stopgap for last season and this, i don’t expect him to be a nailed on starter next season but he’s a very valuable player to the squad

@@user-xe7hr3ld8z i refuse to believe u watched more than 5-10 games last season he was so crucial, u realise if we didn’t have him last season that mac allister would’ve had to play dm all season, he wasn’t bad there but he’s so much better in the 8/10 role he had, without endo we’d have to play curtis more, and in that injury period we’d literally just be starting kids

I'm not getting caught up with all this gossip BS💩 because it's always the same every transfer window we are in for one player one day and then it's a different player the next day and it just goes on and on.And I'll only believe we've signed a new player when LIVERPOOL FC announce it and nobody else.But it's typical of SCROOGEBAGS FSG getting in a COACH who can work with virtually not much money just like they did with KLOPP ..SMH

Not happy for us looking at 4th choice CB. VVD is old, Kanoute is injury prone and is not consistent. Quansseh is good has potential but too young and inexperienced for a CB. Gomez should be back up. To me me need a first choice CB partenship for VVD.

Like gabriel vs saliba for example saliba is conservative, only tackles when necessary and is calm on the ball, gabriel isn’t as good on the ball but he’s more aggressive and better in the air
