I don't get it of companies not using their idols vocal ranges to their best. I mean, save maybe very few groups, it seems so common for GGs to just be forced to sing in a higher register, regardless of what is best or even comfortable for the members. I think the only ones that I have seen being able to avoid being forced to sing higher are people like MAMAMOO's Moonbyul, DREAMCATCHER's Dami and (G)I-DLE's Yuqi. I mean...we can even see in TWICE how they all are forced to sing higher and how that screws up their singing... How hard is it to make songs that ARE good for the singers to sing?
@@urieommarang JYP could be using well their idols that have a lower register I mean, Ryujin's voice can do both high and low but she really seems to charm me when she's singing in her regular speak-voice(that BOSS performance of hers was the best her voice has sounded so far(low and chill instead of high energy and high pitched), but I do like her duality voice-wise). I feel the same shit happens with Red Velvet's Seulgi, she can go both high and low and sound amazing, but SM tends to make her go high only...smh😑
I hate to say it but yg doesn’t care about their vocalists’ vocal health at all. He was on the route to do the same to his first girl group, 2ne1 and one member named bom regressed detrimentally. But apparently they have not done it, if they seek to improve more vocally we would have already seen more improvement in past comebacks, it is true that there has been a lot of improvement since the debut but not about the improvement that is talked about in the video and in the comments, their techniques have improved a bit but not substantially, and they have all the resources to make a much bigger improvement. I agree it's so strange vocal technique takes years to master yet when they debut they stop taking lessons? Improving is a huge part of being an idol/artist etc and they need to know that and start prioritize it
Blackpink have a lot of time to have vocal lessons since they only have 1 comeback a year. I rlly hope YG gets proper vocal trainers and give them vocal training.
I don't know if I am Being biased but I saw a big improvement in Rosé's voice since her debut, I can see why her tone is not everyone cup of tea though. As for Jisoo I kind of agree with the video analysis, her voice is getting weaker, I used to agree she was the most vocally stable in the group in D4 era but now, at least in my non professional opnion, Rosé has been the most stable as she should being the main vocalist. It's a pity yg doesn't invest more in vocal training cause jisoo's tone is very sothing and likeble. I believe that for Jennie rapping is still being her strongest skill, even though she is good as vocalist, I really think they should focus more on giving her rap lines instead of so many difficult singing lines.
its because they are planning rose solo for a long time ,maybe in this time she really focus on vocals training ,so she can show in her solo because in group performance you can hide your lack in vocal technique mostly but Not in solo .And there is a long time in jisoo solo that's why they are Not focusing on it (yg).jisoo is so booked now ,so I think she really don't have a time for vocal training.
@@heenadhurwe_ce325 I think it's because Rosé used to sing a lot even without comebacks. Like what she revealed in their documentary, she always sings late at night to fall asleep. I'm a singer too, and I can say that if you're not singing everyday, your voice can be weaker. As for Rosé, well, she always sings late at night with her instruments, the reason why her voice is improving a lot. It's not because of her solo, but because she literally sings everyday. Singing late at night is already her daily routine which is really good.
i'm not a blink, and i'll say, if jisoo (my fav too btw) as a lead vocalist she sounds like that, something is definitely wrong. sometimes i feel like jennie is being taken her main purpose, for months i thought lisa was the main rapper until i saw their official propositions. you're right: even if the main focus isn't the vocal delivery, we can still work on it to ensure what we can do goes right, keep a balance between what we're given to do and what we can do and avoid future complications
Actually, YG only said the following about the members' roles (specialties) in the group: Jisoo: Vocal Jennie: Vocal / Rap Rosé: Vocal Lisa: Rap / Dance This is what was stated when they officially debuted in 2016 and YG has not made any other official statements about member specialties since then. Obviously, Jennie was always expected to have a major role as a singer. Even when she was a trainee, her first appearance on a national TV stage (in 2013) was when she featured as a SINGER in a GD song. The idea that she was not originally intended to have a big role as a singer in BP is incorrect.

The idea of someone who love to sing losing their ability to do it bcoz unhealty vocal habits its terrefilling. When I look at blackpink girls i just keep in mind Park Boom, a beautiful voice that got lost bcoz of YG and her not carring about a proper tecnic. Is just sad
You really highlighted the potential they have to become admirable vocalists but sadly, I don't see it happening because the execs/elites, don't care, even if this leads to them damaging their voices. They just see them as money making products and after all if they are still quite successful despite the subpar vocals, they view vocal training for them as an inconvenience. If their voices deteriorate, their higher ups probably plan to make them lip-sync even more. *P.S.* They all have potential but I must say Jisoo could really be a vocal force to be reckoned with if she was properly trained, considering the natural beauty of her timbre. It appears to appeal to people the most.

I love how you give constructive criticisms unlike other youtubers who know nothing about vocals and keep on shaming them. I'm not sure about jisoo but jennie's case is 100% accurate, like I don't get it why does yg want to push her to the main vocalist position when she's actually the main rapper, in their hylt encore stage, they all sounded pretty stable but jennie's voice was still a bit breathy. On the other hand, in coachella, jennie was clearly slaying her rap parts and sounded like a professional because that's the thing she's trained at the most. Plus I also want lisa to get more vocal lines, like the girl has potential and yg keeps pushing her to be the main rapper. Hope we could see more rapper jennie and vocalist lisa in the future.
Yeah true , i have seen many others just try to bring blackpink vocals to shame somehow , like why you are so much jealous of them bro 😂😂 . And today I literally come to know why thier vocals are not the center of attention, if one can achieve good vocals with training then I don't think blackpink would every get time to do it , because with their popularity they are to busy to even live together on their anniversary 😭 just make money , vocals huh leave it lip sync , you girls just make money , that's what YG wants
I'm sorry, but honestly she is not even trained as a rapper. At coachella she was shouting, not rapping and there is a big difference. They do not train her and her voice cannot keep up because it's tiring and exhausting. I'm honestly so worried about the upcoming tour. How are they going to perform these many shows? This is going to ruing their vocals for sure.
“Well, EXCUSE ME..” This reaction to BLACKPINK haters is everything 😂 Anyways this issue is a recurring issue in the Kpop industry in general because the entertainment factor (ie visuals, concepts, dancing, performing etc) is a huge priority. BLACKPINK have some of my favourite vocal tones but I too wish they could take lessons and bring out the best of them. We’ll see what happens in the future. Sometimes groups do take the time to improve eventually. For example, BTS seems to have improved in 2020 judging by their Fix You performance 🤷♂️
TBH, the standard Kpop format is not conducive to spotlighting and developing vocal talent. Virtually all stage performances involve elaborate dancing. Anyone who wants to seriously focus on optimizing vocal performance knows that it requires the singer to mostly just stand or sit in one position or otherwise just do body movements that enhance the singing. That's probably one reason why Lee Hi eventually decided to leave YG. YG wanted to manage her just like she was a member of an idol group and always wanted her to be doing idol-type dancing when she was singing on stage. But she knew that in order for her to give her best live vocal performances she couldn't be dancing around trying to do idol-type choreography. The most famous singers on the world rarely do much, if any, choreography in their stage performances. (In Lee Hi's very popular recent Begin Again performances, she's almost always just sitting and focusing on her singing -- something that YG generally wouldn't let her do.) There are people like JYP, on the other hand, who sing in a style that is suited for choreography...i.e. syncopated, beat-driven notes, breathy and airy. But that's almost like a sub-specialty... a "dance singer", not really a strong ballad singer or r&b singer type of thing. Something like what Rosé and Lisa did when they performed the L.O.V.E. duet is actually really good singing when you consider all of the dance moves they were doing simultaneously.
@@hexawira7134 I’m fairly certain, when it comes to vocal skill, BTS are better than BLACKPINK (other than Rosé perhaps) but regardless, when I made the comment I used BTS as an example of a group who’s improved, not a group that’s better than BLACKPINK.
I agree about Jennie and Jisoo, they could potentially become such good singers because as of now they manage to sing really well and their voices are just incredible. So if they deal with the discomfort and strain they would be so powerful 😔 YG please recognize the talent you have!!
I feel like Jennie has so much potential to be an extraordinary vocalist, her voice is so powerful . Jisoo and Rosé could easily be among the best vocalists in kpop. I hope they keep training and singing a lot, I can't wait to see them evolve for the better!
YG always intended for Jennie to have a big role as a vocalist in the group. When they debuted, YG listed their specialties as follows: Jisoo: vocal Jennie: vocal / rap Rosé: vocal Lisa: rap / dance As a trainee, Jennie even made her first appearance on national TV as a singer (featured singer on a G-Dragon song). I'm always surprised seeing some people talking about Jennie as though she should mostly just be rapping and not singing. I guess it's because they get obsessed with that whole system of so-called "main" and "lead" positions -- even though YG has never officially said anything on any YG website, channel or publication about any "main" or "lead" rankings of the members.
@@TEAM__POSEID0N No those positions were their official positions made by YG, check those korean sites if u want. I truly think Jennie is best in rapping than she is in singing, I mean she does great at both, but her rapping is her strongest skill to use and she only uses it sometimes. She has the best technique and flow in rapping as well as her diction and how much syllables she can rap per second isn't even revealed yet. YG said that Jennie is showing about 20% of what she can do. Even though she was introduced or did singing first, there's always a skill that someone's gonna be better at than they thought of. Jisoo and Jennie's vocals are getting weaker while Rosé and Lisa are improving. YG better get their shit together.
@@TEAM__POSEID0N Actually, the official positions are confirmed by YGE. The official positions are listed in their MelOn profile. MelOn profile is the legit one, because they ask for confirmation from the company first before posting it, knowing that MelOn is the biggest music chart in South Korea. I've watched the pre-debut performances of BLACKPINK members. Though Jennie is part of vocal line, I think Jisoo is still have better control than Jennie (in hitting high notes at least). Even with Lisa. Did you know that Lisa was actually a Lead Vocalist of PINKPUNK? It only changed when they became BLACKPINK. Maybe because YG witness that Lisa have a great rapping ability. With Rosé, YG already knew that Rosé will be in the vocal line ever since, as they let Rosé to collaborate with GD, when Rosé is just a newbie YG trainee.
Rosé is the only one who I see slowly improving over the years she is also the only one who can relax and support her voice in a certain part of her range. Jisoo and Jennie will bloom with a little push towards the right direction but rightnow they both struggle with most slightly above average difficulty vocal parts.
I agree. Among the members, I can clearly see the improvements of the maknae line (Rosé and Lisa). Rosé's voice is improving a lot, especially when I heard her OTG encore. She was laughing, but still hits the high notes in the bridge. Lisa also. In her cover of Say So, I can say her vocals is really improving. She's hitting every notes effortlessly.
I'm happy that Rosé is the one who gets the most criticisms in her vocals among the members before, but now, she's the one who's really improving a lottt!
As a vocalist myself, everytime I hear Jennie and Jisoo singing, they relied heavily on their chest register. It just sounded like they just screamed out the tone while getting chocked. Not that I said they are terrible, I'm saying the agency didn't even bother to train them to healthier singing technique which is sad. They won't even give the genre their voices are more fitting in. Jennie is totally a soulful singer, she should've sing more RnB and soul.
Yes absolutely, the lack of techniques is really evident. Only if they all got to have a proper vocal training, but then their company is the biggest crap so what to expect. And yes, Jennie's genre is really RnB-soul. She really found her sound in that genre but what shocked me tho is she can sing a disney song despite having soulful voice 🔥
I would definitely say that Jennie regressed a lot. Her recent solo 'You and me' is extremely unbearable. She sounded extremely nasal. I don't know how everyone thought it was good.
It might sound good (to me as well) but its not about the sound its more about the technique behind it and i think the creator of this video is able to recognize or hear if something is wrong with how they are singing otherwise he would'nt have made and uploaded this video. So long story short the creator of this video who i guess is a vocal coach is afraid of BP,e especially jisoo und jennie kinda losing their ability to sing due to wrong techniques rather than saying that they are bad singers or sound bad.

How is being powerful vocalist defined honestly? Because if we take into consideration techniques and singing ability in calling someone a powerhouse vocalist then Rosé fits it the most.
I think Jisoo didn't sound her best during The Show because she had SO much going on in the months leading up to it; she was constantly filming for Snowdrop, pulling really long days, she was booked constantly for Dior and Cartier photoshoots, and she was filming for Kart Rider videos (although these came out later, they seemed to have been filmed around January time) as well as learning all of the new choreography for the show, I think she was exhausted. She even went to busan wich is 7 hours from Seoul and did a one week trip to film the drama. With Blackpink, she had to film commercials, american interviews, korean interviews, music shows, magazine cover+interviw variety shows and more with the girls. On her own,she also appeared in some variety shows alone, filmed ads with Dior and Cartier, film the kardtier series, she did solo interviews for magazines and shooted all day. it's a yg thing to favour style and unique voices over technique and maintaining their artist's voices. yg literally have vocal coaches and trainers but they seem to be focused on teaching their singers to maintain their unique style, I honestly have no clue how they don't see how damaging that can be, as some of their other boygroup singers have very very dangerous techniques. they have a history of doing this, many of their older vocalists have had very obvious vocal decline in their years at yg.

I hope jisoo took vocal lessons if yg don't have vocal coaches for them . I believe she will improve . (Sorry my English is not that good , hope my comment makes sense.)
Yeah, they should utilize Jisoo’s lower range. Her best performances are the ones where she perform in her lower range-e.g., her covers with Rosé, Kiss and Make Up. She has a beautiful raspy voice with a lot of color and texture. One of the most unique voices in kpop.
( a whole ass essay) Look as someone who knows YG well I can tell you you are wrong for some reasons YG doesn't just care about looks before YG have become such a huge company they were small even if you check out Bigbang and 2ne1 (YG's first idol group before they were a company for underground artists) first music videos they were small budget, YG care more about art which is different than just pretty visuals that most of the kpop idols/companies use, I've followed their idols and the company itself and there's no one like them. It's part of the girls fault cause the company always gives lessons in different sections, last year Jisoo have improved her dancing a lot due to her taking dance lessons in the company so the girls themselves should be the one who knows their weak points and start working on them Jisoo have been training for 5years while Jennie is 6 and they are 4.5 year old group they should be working on themselves more the company won't just look at every artist and make him/her learn how to be an idol again I agree that the company should point out this kinda of things but a big part of it is the idols fault
And you need to know that this is the idol's world it's full of aesthetics and visuals, YG in general have one of the most richest idols they take only 20% of the money which something that big companies don't even do, they have a channel for their dancers, when Lee Hi left YG she defended the company Akmu renewed their contract with them and said because they give artists their own space, I doubt if all the employees are this bad I just think that BP should push themselves more and I hope you won't see me as someone who is delulu and defends YG
@@monalisakindalisa8644 I have also been in this world of kpop for years and I think it is very obvious that the company makes them focus on unique voices, the same pattern is repeated for years. So it not only remains with the artist but with the company vision in which they focus so much on using techniques that harm the voices of most of their artists, just in case it is not only them, to the point that the artists there think that only that is important.
Rosé has improved a lot. She has been the most stable and has achieved the ability of hitting high notes effortlessly. She has lost her nasal voice too.
That is a great problem in kpop, they care more about image and presence (it isn't bad at all); but there are idols suffering vocally because some companies make them use a bad tecnique o don't care at all because their voices are "unique" and that's all(yeah, it's true, but at the same time is damaging a voice).
As a casual listener, I genuinely believe they will even bigger than they are now if all of them (esp Rose, Jisoo and Jennie) have decent technique. Yes vocal tone is what matter the most but it doesn't change the fact that a proper technique could save your voice for a long time and make you able to sing even more challenging song and explore more genre.
Jisoo and Lisa's solo stages during "The Show" were unlistenable to me. I hate to say it, but I'm not going to sugarcoat it. It was like watching an amateur talent show (aside from Lisa’s dancing portion). Jennie and Rosé had a clear advantage, being able to sing their own solo songs. But they were the clear standouts amongst the 4, which sucks, because they are all so talented.
i didnt mind lisa's the only problem was how she pronounced the words its like something was stuck in her throat Jisoo was very whiny in her solo stage but I still liked it
I agree with all of your points. I love their music, charisma, stage presence, personality but their vocal ability seems they are not focus on improving it. and I hope this constructive criticism will reach their management.
Sadly I don't believe they will get any vocal training soon since they are already marketed as a dancer group. There was a documentair I was before aboit kpop in training. They are all trained in both singing and dancing. Then they are categorised either as a dancer or singer. Then they will mainly focus on training in one category. Ofcourse these information are allegedly.
The way I see it, there’s different types of girl groups, in western and eastern pop. There’s groups which are primarily focused on vocals, harmonies and musicality (En Vogue, All Saints, SWV, etc,), there’s groups that are more focused on Dance, Visuals and Performance (BlackPink, Pussycat Dolls, 2NE1, etc.) and there’s some who have a mix of both, though some do it better than others (Spice Girls, Little Mix, Fifth Harmony, Destiny’s Child, etc.). That’s not to say that “vocal” groups can’t put on great shows or “Performance” groups don’t have great vocalists.
I just wish for deeper voices to get recognized more in Kpop. We can see how companies push forward sweet and high pitched voices more instead of darker colored voices.
I’ll say it again but Rosé could’ve been very good if she was trained properly, for some reason she reminds me a lot of Dove Cameron both look and vocally wise.
Isnt she actually improving? Someone said that she supported Bb4 and B4s easily recently. And an actual vocal coach analysed her vocals and said she's actually doing fine.
@@shibourne2000 ofcourse she’s doing fine since she isn’t doing too vocally demanding stuff, her bb4’s have a degree but they are still inconsistent. Her B4’s are the same
To be honest Rose’s in regards to her solo gone and to the ground, I feel like her vocals improved a lot and she doesn’t sound as nasally as she used to. Her voice is quite pleasant there Im sad YG doesn’t care about the girls. I mean they were in a long hiatus in the past. YG could have used that time
There is soooooo much miss info about their singing styles here. About jisoos voice : tension in the voice can be both intentional and unintentional, same with cracks. Tho she seems to struggle a little with lines that require a higher range, she seems to manage. just because she is at times “struggling”, doesn’t mean she is screaming or that it isn’t in her range. It means that she has to consentrate more and have a tighter airflow. She is scrunching her nose because of where she places her sound, not because she is struggling. And also Cracking is a style choice, at least in the way Jisoo does it. She often does this In their tracks, and I don’t think the producers would leave in a unintentional voice crack like that. Her “tension” is what is called bellyache technique and combined with cracking her voice make her sound very emotional and on the verge of crying. Improvements since debut: in their debut stages and records Jisoo lacks the proper breath support and therefor her voice comes of as weak and nasal, a lot like Mina in twice (In earlier years). Over the years she has found her voice and techniques that suits what she wants to convey. Tho her placements sometimes are a bit too nasal and at times hinder her from properly reaching notes she has a nice husky tone that just need some more training and reinforcement. Lisa: lisa when singing has a strong yet young sound. She has poper breath support for the most part. She is the least nasal out of all the members. With is neither good or bad. She has great intonations and her voice is a nice contrast to Rose’s voice (will talk about later). Her voice has a natural vibrato, however she has not learned to utilize it properly. She has an average range, and a good tone and sense of pitch. Lisa is an average vocalist and this what should be expected from kpop idols who aren’t vocalists. I believe we haven’t seen enough of her, and that her potential when it comes to singing is great she has a great foundation she just needs to further develop. I have seen a lot worse singers than Lisa, but also a lot better. Again her potential is huge. Improvements since debut: confident, my vocal teacher used to say “confidence is 30% of a performance”. she stopped using that cute voice going for a more strong one. 👏breath support👏👏 Jennie: Jennie has a diverse tone that can with ease slither into any genre. And she easily adapts energy and intonations when needed. Jennies problem is that hr rap techniques and singing techniques are quite different and she often confuses the two. Her rap style is very nasal, and her vowels change completely from when she is singing from closed to open. Tho Jennie has a some what of a nasal placement when singing she more regularly goes into her chest voice. To put it simply when Jennie is singing her voice is fuller, and a little more open. She also adds belly ache to her voice, and more irregularly than jisoo ads cracks. Her voice is a heavy one with quite an impact. So when she sounds like she is yelling she is actually just using the wrong technique and unknowingly switching to a nasal and closed tone. She has a wide range tho her control in her higher range is not nearly as good as it could be. And i believe developing a stronger lower register would only benefit her. She also has at times very weird vowel placements which make her sound like she is mumbling or yelling, when she really isn’t. Improvements:👏breath support👏 developing a sound that suits her. Confidence in her voice. She is not as breathy anymore. Rose: she has a verryyyyyy nasal placement, and at times it is beautiful and nice but, overusing it sound tacky. I am impressed with her range as a soprano it is difficult to develop a good control over the lower range. I do believe she is slightly over singing stuff meaning she is adding things with her voice and modulating things were it isn’t needed. Tho in “on the ground” she really has been able to show of her true abilities as well as her unique tone. She is using a lot more heavy placements and we are seeing more rose rather then yg in her technique and style. she has very closed vowels, and tend to be a little to quiet when singing, but we have seen that she can get very loud and piercing. I wish she varied her tone more to the style she was singing. (I’m getting picky Ik). I wish I could say rose technique is healthy, but she lacks a lot of breath support which will resolve in a lot of straining. Tho this has gotten better since debut. Improvement: developing proper breath support👏 developing a more healthy technique, (nasal placement is a technique, overusing And not having proper breath control is what’s bad) developing a sound. Edit: I wrote this at three in the morning so the initial post had A LOT of errors. That is why this post is edited. I also wanted to add, that the critique I gave to rose does not mean she isn’t a great vocalist. She had a great control over her voice, a beautiful tone and her voice really is mesmerizing. But I believe that there is always more to be learned. And that a skill is never fully mastered.
@@jnkverse9078 no problem,🥰 at this moment I am taking an education in music, and specialising in singing. I’m certainly not an expert but we have to learn at least the basics in terms of vocal technique. So a professional might tell you more about this but this is the basics, and stuff I’ve observed. But I just hate seeing misinformation beeing spread around.
@@safinakousar4121 Yes this is vert true and idols dont Get enough credit for it. However this is generally talking about their vocals. There is a reason Lisa and jisoo is the most stable and rose isn’t. Yes stamina plays a big part, but jisoo has admitted to not working out to much, apart from dancing. Lisa does a lot of pilates, dancing and boxing I believe. Except for dancing none of them really do any cardio workout, which could help improv stability. But Lisa and jisoo has the most consistent breath support, which is why they are very stable. Also rose voice is very quiet and is a very vulnerable to being pitchy. (Not because she is bad, but because her stylistic choices) and with a average stamina and non consistent breath support she falls short in stability. Much like Minnie from g-idle, she is not a bad vocalist but when singing and dancing she is prone to being more pitchy than say yuqi. Stability and skill I not the same. I am not in anyway bashing the girls but this video had a lot of false info and was making the girls seem worse than they are.
I love how you constantly emphasize good technique on your channel. I play tennis and whenever I get too much fufu, its always back to proper technique. Beforw you can move to the next step, technique is always important
i agree jisoo is straining sooooo much. the range is just too much for her, she has been getting better than 4D era on that range, but technique wise there really needs more training. she's is my favorite vocalist in blackpink, it's amazing but those range that is forced is terrible for her.
I mean people often forget that Jennie literally got no vocal training before debut and she herself said that she only just started singing when they debuted. Although I think that every single trainee goes through the process of basic vocal training, but that can't be compared with true and real training. With that said, I think what Jennie does is AMAZING. Proves she's a natural.
Eh. Yge artist train with different position. That's why yg main singer, can rap and dance, main rapper can sing and dance, main dancer can rap and sing, visual can sing, rap and dance. And she train 5 years, with 5 years training it's very impossible if they only train her rap and dance? And they didn't train her vocal? When their former vocal coach who train jyp artist say she train all blackpink member in vocal and she even choose rosé has a nice voice . So it's very impossible if jennie didn't received vocal training. Haha sorry but i will never believe even jennie say it 🤣 artist/celebrity can lie too duh.
@@r-recordbreaker947 Well I don't think she ever said that she didn't sing before debut ( Cuz that's pretty dumb cuz without atleast basic vocal training there is NO WAY she will debut that too in the big 3 )
i wouldnt say shes a natural, if she was she would sound better. she has pontential and needs guidance and practise to become great. shes not a strong vocalist
@@r-recordbreaker947i mean i can sing without a proper vocal training and i have a natural talent in singing but singing lessons are technical and deep and not just about musical notes but learning vocal calisthenics compared to just introducing you to music(vocal wise) so maybe that's what she's pertaining to with having "no"
@@istanaqueenwhohaswsnols2249 most of people can sing but not really a singer. And obviously jennie receive a vocal training not only rap. Their old vocal coach who train jyp artist said she train all bp members so mean she's lying? They train jennie rap more but they also train her singing voice.
This is actually common in kpop because I’ve heard that a lot of companies have said “we can auto tune your singing but we can’t make your dance look better on stage” so the companies end up focusing more on dance then vocals
This is a beautiful explained video. I really like it a lot. I have always thought that the pieces or parts of the song jennie n jisoo get r a bit hard for most of the times. kpop as a whole have this obsession with higher tone singing (even tho bp songs r mostly mid-range) which I find very weird cause many idols lose their vocal colors n beauty to sing in a higher tone. Especially jisoo, she has one of the best lower tone I have heard in kpop n yt she is forced to sing in a discomfortable range. N Jennie has a beautiful mid-range vocal n yt she is forced to go a lot more higher n she normally does. In rosé case I think she has finally got comfortable with her voice n is sound more beautiful every day. Lisa sings in the most safe way n I think the more she becomes confident in her singing the more she will get better. Anyways love ur video.
Tbh this video is extremely biased knowing Jennie only started singing after her debut as she used to be more rap focus but she has the best improvement especially in the new album. Many vocal coaches have talked about how they loved the growth in jennie's voice. She's the main rapper that gets the same highnotes as the main vocalist, and it's not easy. The way she can sing while dancing and carry all those highnotes is not something an average singer can do.
Crazy he talking about how struggle your bias just because she has nice voice doesn't mean she has no weakness 🤣🤣🤣 maybe you focus nore on her voice sound but you didn't notice if she hit those notes with healthy voice and technique.
What you said does have a point (she's starting as the main rapper) as well as pointing out that Jennie (especially) need more help to manage her vocals given that she got lines for the main vocalist as you said so. As I watched BP Netflix documentary Light Up The Sky, am getting worried for Jennie as she said it herself that she's out of breath easier, can't jump higher etc. Her stamina probably the weakest from the rest and maybe, just maybe if she has better control with her voice doing that main vocalist lines while dancing, then she can manage her stamina better. We all saw so many clips of her suffering at the end of the show (sometimes in the middle of the show) as she's so out of breath in the verge of almost fainting. I love Jennie the most and it hurt me seeing her like that.
Great video! I really enjoyed your last video about songbird supremes. It would be cool to see you do something similar with the recent vocals from ex-acts and how they hold up to their past efforts. Especially with Miley Cyrus’ new rock album.
The Problem i see with their singing Style, it's because it's not THEIR singing style, it's YG singing Style. Everyone who are into kpop long enough know that the BIG 4 (now with big hit) have their "company signature singing style" ... Not to compare, but when 2ne1 debuted they were older and had trained longer that BP, so their voices were already developed and they had the technique to sing in YG style without hurting their voices ( except for bom, but that a whole other story.) In BP i see voices that are not yet totally developed and are pushed to sing in the YG style.... Which is commonly reffer as the "sweet potato tired hipster" ( see chutter channel) They have this thing of Putting a lot of force in to the mid section of the line and not finishing it properly.... their notes never feel all the way Shut is always this Open ended way of singing...meaning when they are doing a high note/part they don't have a polish end they just keeep pushing till the sound goes away.... anyways.. LOVE jisoo vocal she have something in common with yuqi with her more lower and raspy tone.... but her voice is not being cared to preserve that someway
Rose has very good technique, but I prefer Jennie's tone especially when she's singing in her appropriate vocal range (lower mezzo). Jisoo has decent range and texture but her technique is so bad its distracting.
thats the thing tho. Jisoo doesnt have a technique. Its clear to see that yg failed in the department. They didnt teach the girls proper techniques to maintain their voices. They all have beautiful voices but nothing to help them keep the strength that they need to perform with those beautiful voices. Instead they get weaker bc of nonproper training. However, Rosé has improved a lot. I personally like all of their voices. Theyre all distinct. I just wish YG and YGE cared more for their artists sometimes
@Beast Khadka you too🤣 "singing beautifully" like you said doesn't mean she's using better technique. Singing beautifully and good vocalist is different😂
I can definitely agree. When I watched the training program, it was only an hour of vocal training. I know that in kpop the main thing is dancing and visuals, but it's still music, and one hour a day with 6 hours of dancing I don't think is enough. They definitely need to focus on their vocals. And I'm a fan, but I have to admit that they can do better, especially after training a little more
It would be also good to mention that there is no other group that could pull off something like Pretty Savage or in general any BLACKPINK's more hip-hop based song. They may not be the strongest group vocally, but no one can deny that They're unique in Their own way. They have a really strong rap line and it makes them outstanding, because usually girl groups are more acknowledged with vocals rather then raps.
@@JB-bl7xf Ikr? Even tho There are groups like for example G-Idle where Soyeon is a better rapper then Jennie, but there is no group where every rap line member could be a main rapper.
@•Joelle• A ? That's why I said that Soyeon is a better rapper then Jennie, but BLACKPINK's rap line is stronger then G-Idle's. I don't understand what You tried to say 😕
I prefer bp vocals cause they have like unique voices, and we don't know what happens behind 😌 we don't know if they took vocals lesson or not! Or maybe in the concert jisoo was tired . Bp is the group that receive most hate in the industry and its so sad cause the are really talented.( soorry for my english ) Im spanich speaker 😊
@@anitarivas9604 She means that vocals should not be subjective as it it should be more objective. It doesn't meant that they have unique voices or you like their voice, it means that they are already okay. In their vocals, there is still a lot of needs of improvement.
@Elegant Oprah dancing and singing is pretty hard you will get tired after dancing a pretty hard cheography and this will cause you to focus on your breathing and then the vocal won't be as good or your voice might crack. Watch Jisoo clarity Rosè childish adult, la vida loca Lisa loser cover Jennie ILY They were standing on the spot and were not tired causing them to hit the vocal perfectly and make it sound very stable
Okay I know it is out of context but I hope to know your opinion on Rosé solo like how much would you rate them And your opinions are absolutely right respectful and constructive the girls should take more vocal training part of it is YG's fault and part of it is the girls fault honestly cause the company is here having many vocal coaches and classes they can go anywhere they want, Blackpink in general have a lot of time as an idols it's not like they are overworked I think they are having a lot of potential and they need to work on that too it's not hard to take more singing classes and develop your ownself so I won't blame YG for that thing, I think that Blackpink are more of a rapping group as well but having one member who raps and the main don't is an issue BP used to have songs with 2rap verse especially in their beginnings they need to make that come back And thank you for understanding the people you are commenting about like you always gets a lot of immature comments when in reality you balance between the difference of being a vocalist or being an idol/artist and people don't understand you, people will take this video as a chance to drag/defend Blackpink and you being a hater when in reality it isn't you are just giving a valid criticism whether it's for Blackpink or for us as fans/viewers I hope you make vocal videos for beginners cause I think you are a great vocal coach and we can benefit from you❤
Both "On The Ground" and "Gone" have grown on me tremendously since my first initial listen! I love both songs, I hear a lot of Rosé in them, she really sells them vocally and it really feels like it is way more genuine, authentic and heartfelt than Jennie's "Solo" (even though I enjoy "Solo") I'm really looking forward to hearing more from Rosé and other girls as well, her solo really made me curious and excited about what's to come for BLACKPINK and each member individually. Hope it makes sense:)
@@aintnootherfan Good to know both of your sides vocally and musically and I agree so much with what you said. It totally made sense and I'm looking forward for Blackpink solos as well, I want them to put more of their personalities and talent. I'm glad you liked the girls more❤
@@aintnootherfan thank you for appreciating both GONE and OTG. Because some of blinks don't like OTG coz they want Upbeat song and intruments like jennie solo. And prefer gone because gone is about love.
For me, their vocals and breath control aren't stagnant, they're worse than before. I've realized that, even with rapping, while they had the ability to perform a whole song during their first 2 years, now (especially since d4 era) they skip some lines to breathe even though they dance with "less energy" than in their debut. I just wish yg would give them a vocal coach bc they have so much potencial 😭
I want to take some time, and give you props for the consistent and dedicated content no matter what. As we all know, things has been happening, and the fact that you stay dedicated needs applause. And as always, sending lots of love and support 😘❤️♥️
During the d4 she sounded very struggling. She sounded like she was straining lack of control was very strong. But during the album her voice literally improved so much. I was so proud
Well Jisoo was hella busy...she always sounded hella good in D4 but this time in the show as you said she was sgruggling. Knowing that she had covers magazines, Snowdrop filming, rehearsals and the filming of the episodes of her collab game, I guess it's bc she was really tired.
Jisoo has been my bias ever since she first raised her umbrella in DDU-DU DDU-DU. How often in any kind of pop music do you come across a voice that is uniquely deep or can reach those low notes? I would compare Jisoo and Rosé to the two instruments, Viola and Violin, respectively. The Violin is known for being the Soprano of the string orchestra, able to reach the high notes, and having a timbre that cuts through the music sharply and sweetly. The Viola is a slightly bigger Violin that is played the same way, but one of the strings is thicker which allows it to reach those lower notes, harmonize, and hold the orchestra together like glue. It's the alto. The Viola isn't as popular an instrument as the Violin since high notes are more favored by the general public, but since it's the instrument I played in school, I loved Jisoo because her tone reminded me of a Viola. I loved her, even more, when I learned that she kind of plays that role in the group: the glue between them. Throughout the years, I've watched their live performances on RUclips and compilations of them singing beautifully and I still find some clips here and there that stuns me. I'm still OT4 and all of them continue to impress me: vocal tones, singing, rapping, dancing, personalities, etc. The clips of Jisoo keep reminding me of her potential, but I do feel like something is holding her back or at least not encouraging her to reach farther up. With the Online Concert, I feel like Jisoo's weaknesses were really exposed. I always considered her like an underdog. She's not perfect and she might not be on the vocal level of Rosé, but I knew that and thought that just meant one day she'd show us just how far she really can go. But there I was watching the online concert and she sounded like she was in literal pain. Her voice was strained and sounded much more nasally than I've ever heard it before. There's nothing wrong with nasality but I could tell something was different. I thought to myself: "Well, she's been practicing and filming a lot for her new k-drama, Snowdrop, so some imperfections from fatigue are to be expected." But she still didn't sound that well and it had me concerned. I don't know what YG Entertainment plans to do. Does she have a vocal coach already? Can they get a new vocal coach? If she doesn't have one, does she want a vocal coach? Does she have a say in this? I don't know, but I hope they consider giving the pinks more vocal training. I wait years for comebacks and I still support them over all other groups because of how much they mean to me and I just want to see them do well and feel and sound relaxed.
honestly now that she will be having a solo soon, i hope her voice gets utilized well from what i understand she gets a lot of hate for her voice i loved her in lsg personally for me her best performance along with yuki no hana cover and kiss and make up
Yg needs to cut down on making the aesthetics everything and help them with their vocals where it’s needed. Also I think jisoo suits lower tones better better, seems less difficult for her
They are super rich, have had most free time in their career compared to other popular Kpop idols who have had tons of releases and activity, I don't think YG can be blamed at this point in their career, sure at the start they were responsible, but now they are all big stars individually and already seniors within the kpop industry who can afford to buy the best vocal coach in Korea or even in the world, the sole responsibility of improving depends on them. The same goes to every other big artist or big group.
I don't think you know much about blackpink. Even tho they don't comeback as much, there other engagements keep them very busy especially recently. They have tons of endorsements & activities outside the group, so they don't have the free time you think they have
@@pheyie I am not talking about recently, its common knowledge in Kpop that BP have had the longest gaps between comebacks for a popular group, they have released far too little compared to peers of top popularity. They have had more free time compared to others. Them getting busy with endorsements to be called 'hectic' is also pretty recent, i would say post 2019, they debuted 2016. But even now endorsements don't really take up 365 days of their schedule and at this point they are senior enough to choose what they want to do or not. All the other popular groups also direly require Vocal lessons too , unlike BP at the start of their career they hardly had time to breath, but now they are soley responsible for their own poor technical skills now.
@@funkystyle7249 still, you can't conclude. I'm sure they will love to improve themselves. Lisa literally said in an interview that she would love to sing better. But no one knows what goes on behind the scenes. So don't conclude like that.
Thank you for addressing this. It seems that they were forced to sing a terribly nasal, closed-off falsetto above their natural range; I think Rose is a solid mezzo and the others are mezzos to altos. I'm in my 40s and used to sing in my primary education and in college, and I injured my vocal cords early on. Yet, publicly expressing my opinion resulted in the younger fans reprimanding me with 'you've never been a professional singer'.
@@god_is_yves8483 That's your opinion. Her apparent natural speaking and singing voice is in the mid range, thus she has been forcing herself to speak and sing at a suprima range.
@@r-recordbreaker947 A mezzo soprano/soprano 2 has a deeper voice than a suprima soprano/soprano 1. If she were a natural suprima, she would not have to force her voice into that range.
Idk if Jisoo is better than jennie, jennie is more grounded, both of their freedom range stops at D5 but Jennie's seems to have healthier placement and technique
Of course jisoo is far better. She has a wider range as well. And why do you say Jennie has better technique? She was never trained vocally before debut (she said it herself) and that shows. She literally just shouts all the time when she has to go higher and is really unstable. You know she was not a lead vocal when bp debuted.
Jisoo voice is smooth and her range is very well, the stability of her voice is incredible! Her voice is like heavy. Jennie voice is really strong she also has a good range too. But, jisoo is on another level for me. Her voice is just unique, its heavy but really melodic. She has so many potential n skill. Also jennie is good too, dont blame me. I love both of 'em.
Jennie and Jisoo are not far from each other. Both no support. But Jennie is slightly better than Jisoo because she is showing potential in supporting notes.
Jennie has the most powerful voice out of 4 in my opinion, and i think she got better a bit bc she (and Rosé ofc) ate post chorus in Lovesick Girls which has some higher mid belts as Eb5, and she can change her tone based on song she is singing which is a nice skill as well. She (and Rosé ofc) gets most demanding parts of songs mostly(bc Jisoo gets sometimes hard parts like in KLT) : Ice Cream - pre chorus, Ddu-Du Ddu-Du - chorus, acually just a line before it but still, Lovesick Girls - post chorus, Love To Hate Me - pre chorus (i mean not super hard but transition can be tricky), Playing With Fire - bridge and that note at pre chorus which Rosé acually didn't have, AIIYL - chorus (1st and 3rd), How You Like That - pre chorus, again not super hard, Bet You Wanna - climax, ik Rosé is the 1 who slays but Jennie is also belting lower underneath Rosé's vocals
Am so happy you posted , like you where giving us lives but I wanted a video , also out of all the vocal Channels I have seen you are the best one ❤️❤️
I WANT MORE PINK CONCEPTS from them. I know that they prefer black concepts but it's not unique anymore and it's boring. Pink concepts can be refreshing in an industry so saturated with girl/teen crush and it'll allow them to experiment with other music styles other than edm. Pink concepts also allow us fans to enjoy their vocal since black concepts focuses on their dance skills. As a vocal stan, I NEED MORE PINK CONCEPTS
just because they’re usually doing a black concept, doesn’t mean they prefer it more. jennie herself has said that she wants to try a more girly type of concept. also, i don’t think i can agree with you saying that black concept is boring. it will never be.
It's getting boring because rookie girl groups are trying to follow BLACKPINK's concept now. To be honest, before BLACKPINK debuted, all I can see is cute concepts. But it changed when BLACKPINK debuted with a powerful Boombayah. They are the only girl group back then who's really unique. But when 4th gen. came, they are now following BLACKPINK's concept. Just like ITZY. They are not a copy or whatever, but BLACKPINK is JYP's inspiration for ITZY.
I really like Rosé's voice. I feel that your points are very valid. And I really like them based on what I've seen. And by the way, I kinda miss when you put the notes on the screen. C5 B4 or whatever the note is at that moment. It's not a necessity but it's high key satisfying IDK why haha.
Omg, finally someone said it! The performences on The show were really not good for me (solo, gone and dddd were really good, though)! It seems their singing got worse, and anyone who is a blink know they have the potential! I really wish they had singing lessons
YG never care about vocal techniques, all they care about is the aesthetic of uniqueness in his groups. Even in 2NE1, they don't have proper training. They even overworked Bom to the point her lymph nodes swollen which forces her to get surgery due to swelling conditions. I just hope YG give BP at least a decent training.
Jisoo should get more material in a lower range, where her unique voice really shines through.

I hate to say it but yg doesn’t care about their vocalists’ vocal health at all. He was on the route to do the same to his first girl group, 2ne1 and one member named bom regressed detrimentally. Yg only cares about your voice if it sounds emotive and ‘unique’ and he doesn’t care how or why it sounds like it does
Minzy's technique was always the strongest in 2ne1 and she still didn't regress.
Yeah, Minzy did have the best technique. I think she may have had that before becoming a trainee? Idk, all I know is that Bom kinda suffered with YG. She sounds much better now.
@Elegant Oprah reallly? Idk, I'm not a professional, but I think she's sounding pretty good in her recent performances.

As for Rosé, well, she always sings late at night with her instruments, the reason why her voice is improving a lot. It's not because of her solo, but because she literally sings everyday. Singing late at night is already her daily routine which is really good.

Actually, YG only said the following about the members' roles (specialties) in the group:
Jisoo: Vocal
Jennie: Vocal / Rap
Rosé: Vocal

This is what was stated when they officially debuted in 2016 and YG has not made any other official statements about member specialties since then. Obviously, Jennie was always expected to have a major role as a singer.
Yge didn't push her to be the main vocalist. They only giving her more singing lines with rosé because she's lead vocalist too duh.

(In Lee Hi's very popular recent Begin Again performances, she's almost always just sitting and focusing on her singing -- something that YG generally wouldn't let her do.)
There are people like JYP, on the other hand, who sing in a style that is suited for choreography...i.e. syncopated, beat-driven notes, breathy and airy.
BTS arent better than blackpink vocally, you could use better example like seventeen or exo

YG always intended for Jennie to have a big role as a vocalist in the group. When they debuted, YG listed their specialties as follows:
Jisoo: vocal
Jennie: vocal / rap
Rosé: vocal
Lisa: rap / dance
As a trainee, Jennie even made her first appearance on national TV as a singer (featured singer on a G-Dragon song).
@@TEAM__POSEID0N these positions of members are approved positions nobody made up this, you can check it on Melon or other music platforms

Even with Lisa. Did you know that Lisa was actually a Lead Vocalist of PINKPUNK? It only changed when they became BLACKPINK. Maybe because YG witness that Lisa have a great rapping ability. Jisoo has the most unique voice!!
Maybe one of the most uniques but not THE most unique.
What about people like Dami, Minnie, Hwasa, Soojin...?Their voices aren't also the kind you hear everywhere in kpop...
Nope. Can't even reach low tone voice. Not just enough to say that her voice is unique. It's trash.

Jisoo had amazing vocals on some performances (like yuki no hana that is on the lower register vocally) but you are right she struggles sometimes and it's because yg don't focus on vocal lessons .
YG invests more in their looks and branding than on their actual mental and vocal health. All I've heard makes they seem like the worst employers ever
( a whole ass essay)
Look as someone who knows YG well I can tell you you are wrong for some reasons
YG doesn't just care about looks before YG have become such a huge company they were small even if you check out Bigbang and 2ne1 (YG's first idol group before they were a company for underground artists) first music videos they were small budget, YG care more about art which is different than just pretty visuals that most of the kpop idols/companies use, I've followed their idols and the company itself and there's no one like them.
@@monalisakindalisa8644 yeah, no
@@monalisakindalisa8644 I have also been in this world of kpop for years and I think it is very obvious that the company makes them focus on unique voices, the same pattern is repeated for years. So it not only remains with the artist but with the company vision in which they focus so much on using techniques that harm the voices of most of their artists, just in case it is not only them, to the point that the artists there think that only that is important.
@@Bohbohboh_36373 Ur opinion lol
Rosé has improved a lot. She has been the most stable and has achieved the ability of hitting high notes effortlessly. She has lost her nasal voice too.
That is a great problem in kpop, they care more about image and presence (it isn't bad at all); but there are idols suffering vocally because some companies make them use a bad tecnique o don't care at all because their voices are "unique" and that's all(yeah, it's true, but at the same time is damaging a voice).
in conclusion: YG doesn't even care about their vocals or what range their vocals to be shown
Jisoo's voice with a jazz song. That would be legendary.
So I'm not the only that felt Jisoo struggle in du ddu du ddu. It sounds a bit painful in some performances
Yeah she is literally straining in the part where she was wearing pink hear .
Jennie is my favorite cuz her singing is good cuz she have a beautiful deep voice which help her and she's an amazing rapper
rosé too has a deep voice but yg won't let her use it in their songs.. we had a glimpse of it though in some portions of KTL
@Elegant Oprah Ain’t no other fan should do a vid on En Vogue like he did with LM, Fifth Harmony and Mamamoo 👀👀👀

Tbh the way yg treats their vocals like how my school treated my middle school track team: higher expectations but no change in training

😇
👏breath support👏👏
Jennie: Jennie has a diverse tone that can with ease slither into any genre.
This is exactly it and I think you have to know the girls to know this. Thank you for your explanation

Blackpink vocals are fine its just that singing and dancing its pretty hard

Agree
He just points out that she needs coaching to be amazing, which is not anything bad when we know YG doesn’t try to coach her
Great video!

Not to compare, but when 2ne1 debuted they were older and had trained longer that BP, so their voices were already developed and they had the technique to sing in YG style without hurting their voices ( except for bom, but that a whole other story.)
In BP i see voices that are not yet totally developed and are pushed to sing in the YG style.... Which is commonly reffer as the "sweet potato tired hipster" ( see chutter channel)
They have this thing of Putting a lot of force in to the mid section of the line and not finishing it properly.... their notes never feel all the way Shut is always this Open ended way of singing...meaning when they are doing a high note/part they don't have a polish end they just keeep pushing till the sound goes away....

I can definitely agree. When I watched the training program, it was only an hour of vocal training. I know that in kpop the main thing is dancing and visuals, but it's still music, and one hour a day with 6 hours of dancing I don't think is enough. They definitely need to focus on their vocals. Okay I know it is out of context but I hope to know your opinion on Rosé solo like how much would you rate them
And your opinions are absolutely right respectful and constructive the girls should take more vocal training part of it is YG's fault and part of it is the girls fault honestly cause the company is here having many vocal coaches and classes they can go anywhere they want, Blackpink in general have a lot of time as an idols it's not like they are overworked I think they are having a lot of potential and they need to work on that too it's not hard to take more singing classes and develop your ownself so I won't blame YG for that thing, I think that Blackpink are more of a rapping group as well but having one member who raps and the main don't is an issue BP used to have songs with 2rap verse especially in their beginnings they need to make that come back
And thank you for understanding the people you are commenting about like you always gets a lot of immature comments when in reality you balance between the difference of being a vocalist or being an idol/artist and people don't understand you, people will take this video as a chance to drag/defend Blackpink and you being a hater when in reality it isn't you are just giving a valid criticism whether it's for Blackpink or for us as fans/viewers

@@ruthwamugogathuku3768 you listen to fake mr remove? Hahaha

She sounds Disney channel level, like High School Musical Sharpey Evans. Not that impressive
@@hsnrb9959 true but it’s an upgrade from how she sang in her Say So performance, plus i like the tone of her voice and think she has potential
@@papapauuuuuu pre recorded or not it is still her voice, you're talking as if she used someone else's voice to record that.

Rosé is not a mezzo tho
@@god_is_yves8483 That's your opinion. Her apparent natural speaking and singing voice is in the mid range, thus she has been forcing herself to speak and sing at a suprima range.
@@VirtualAssistantAlana2020 she's soprano, lyrics soprano but i'm not sure what kind of soprano she is. But she's soprano.
Jennie does shout her line ALOT lol. Maybe because she's more hyper on stage (?).
Yes I kind of agree.
I think he placed Jisoo higher than Jennie coz she is more melodic.
She (and Rosé ofc) gets most demanding parts of songs mostly(bc Jisoo gets sometimes hard parts like in KLT)
: Ice Cream - pre chorus, Ddu-Du Ddu-Du - chorus, acually just a line before it but still, Lovesick Girls - post chorus, Love To Hate Me - pre chorus (i mean not super hard but transition can be tricky), Playing With Fire - bridge and that note at pre chorus which Rosé acually didn't have, AIIYL - chorus (1st and 3rd), How You Like That - pre chorus, again not super hard, Bet You Wanna - climax, ik Rosé is the 1 who slays but Jennie is also belting lower underneath Rosé's vocals
Am so happy you posted , like you where giving us lives but I wanted a video , also out of all the vocal Channels I have seen you are the best one ❤️❤️
Woah, this is such an honest opinion/judgement. Yeah, as a blink, i agree with you.
As if it's your last is their best tt!!
just because they’re usually doing a black concept, doesn’t mean they prefer it more. jennie herself has said that she wants to try a more girly type of concept. also, i don’t think i can agree with you saying that black concept is boring. it will never be.
@@tea-rh4cu not boring per se but it's over done and you can't deny it honestly.
@@ygpml itzy's concept has nothing to do with bp, it's teen crush. You could've use other groups as an example
Blackpink as OT4 is the REVOLUTION. Their vocal is on FIRE SORRY NOT SORRY . SUPPORT EACH MEMBER . STR3M GONE MV . VOCALS ON FIRE .
Thank you for this
It would be nice to hear how blackpink sounds with vocal training.
The fact that if you just said any of these things on any other platform you'll probably get your account suspended
You'd think that the music industry would care more about... you know, music!?
Singing should be the priority. Not visuals and dancing.
