    Please make video on why transformers available today give higher Ac out voltage than their ratings? Suppose a 12 V , 2 or 3 Ampere transformer is actually giving 14 to 16 Volt Ac instead of 12 V so after rectification and filtration it's even higher that's 22.5 V Dc instead of 17 volt Dc. So please explain why these transformers output such higher Ac volt output than their rated voltage?

    Sir can I use 1000uf 25 volt capacitor after bridge rectifier, using a 18 volt step down transformer to get 12 volt dc, from 7812 ic? And how much current will pass through this regulator?? If I use this capacitor?

      Using a 25 v capacitor is not recommended because using 18 v rms leads to 25 v peak to peak (aprox)
      You need to use at least 35 v
      But recommended is 50 v
