@@colinphilpott3700 thanks mate hoping to do more of these in the future. Being on the Atlantic though means the wind always wants to be in the video lol
Evening fella another good video. Good tip on the wrap bait. You said about work in this and other video. About doing night shift. You don't look tall enough for the Garda. And not sure your in health care. What work do you do if you don't mind me asking
@@Inshore_Angler I'd never of had you down for that lol. But guessing not a lot of crime in your county. Was puzzling me. Thinking postman. No. Health care. No. Too much time on my hands. Keep up the great videos. Stay safe fella
I actually finished up in 2nd place. There was a number of missed bites by the guys on the other side of the draw. Not sure how I managed to keep 2nd 😊

The Clare side of the estuary fished very well this year, still fishing well. North Clare was a disaster, especially around black head and ballyreen, That venue you're fishing is good with plain lead's, let it roll along
I tend to find every snag there when I try that lol. Only fished ballyreen once but I'd love to go back and have another go at it. I had some fine dabs that day but the spotty I really wanted eluded me.
@@Inshore_Angler Those limestone rocks are hit and miss, I caught plaice, dabs and had great night sessions on the flat's during that cold winter 2010 whiting galore. Myself and a Galway lad braved the icy roads a few times and had great rewards, line sticking to the rod tops frequently.. Haven't tried it since, but maybe this winter 😊
@@120wphwavesperhour4 man sounds like it was well deserved. I will have to go back next year and see if I can break the curse of the spotty. Ballyreen is a long old spin from Tralee though
To hold your concentration for the match and present a video at the same time speaks volumes of your character. Well done Chris, great vid.
Thanks for the kind words Colin I do enjoy the videos during competitions but would almost certainly need a camera man during the busier ones
@@Inshore_Angler Definitely. That's what make it such a great video. To concentrate on both is not the easiest but very appreciated. Nice work :)

Suggest a ray mark around Kilrush on a night tide?

Poulnasherry or even Capa pier 👍👍

You will have to pack in that job.

Chris what’s the best ray mark in the Shannon estuary?
That's a tough one man I've had my best session at carrig Island there but all along it seems to hold rays at times.
What Rod and Reel are you fishing with there fella?
Hi James it's a Century blackbird rod and a shimano aero technium reel
Chris O'Sullivan fishing thanks pal for coming back to me keep up the good work.
