Hi Brendan, it was east off the NE tip of Canon island approximately 500m from the island. We saw one side of it again a few weeks ago near low tide. Only on a spring low can you see the end of the V. I believe there are more again over near Shannon. Amazing to see these structures and that they are still visible after hundreds of years.
Hi Beautiful video . I am from Clare and wanna do this trip also . Dose it matter what tides there is ? Did you leave and return to Same place ? Clare castle I imagine Thanks
PFRODR77 It is a fiberglass kayak made from an old mould some friends had years ago. It was something they made up themselves in the hope to make and sell kids kayaks. Unfortunately it never progressed, I am just happy though to have gotten my hands on one.
Great video
Brilliant video! Can you tell me where the fish trap is? I discovered one not too far from there, one mile north of deer island.

Half of my ancestry is buried in Canon Island also. Amazing to see the drone footage of it

Very late in coming back to you. We set out from Crovraghan outside Kildysart. Channels are deep enough to get out onto the main flow anytime.
What is the kayak of your daughter in the last video "dad & daughter..."? Thks
