Finally got him today! He's got some minor issues but overall I'm very much satisfied, by far the best figure rendition I own of my favourite Evil Warrior! A vast upgrade to the Revelation one in classic garb, but I've always had that one in his awesome techno cult costume anyway. They'll complement each other perfectly on the shelf. Btw. the sword with a golden handle is screwed up badly paint-wise in my copy too, even worse than yours :D
Oh crap, sorry to hear that. I think this figure would be 10x better if he had sword holding articulation with his wrists. The poseabilty with 2 swords would be off the charts. Masterverse in general needs butterfly joints. Those are my main gripes with the line.
@@VexNToys yeah every figure with a melee weapon should have a vertical hinge joint AT LEAST in the right hand by default. Preferably in both. Some of the earlier waves in the line had exactly zero of those and it sucked bad.
@@MichalArchangelo I’d take it a step further and have the hand molded how you naturally hold a sword so the sword would already be naturally run parallel with the arm and the articulation would just bring it to a right angle.
The question in the title is absolutely my dilemma with Mattel making a new Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, and even a Battle Armor He-Man. Even thought they first two are New Eternia, they run really close to what can be done with the Masterverse Revelation versions. It’s great for anyone who didn’t grab the first ones, cut given all the great toys that are competing for my wallet, I’m sadly gonna have to pass on all figs in this Revolution wave except for Keldor. That said, this version is pretty cool. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
I feel like the newest wave is like a new line. They feel different. More premium with better accessories, paint apps and intuitive designs. I’m all in on New Eternia figures.
You should put the alternate head and motherboard cult robes on your Revelation Triklops, so he'll look totally different from the new Eternia version, Also good paintwork on your Skeletor (mine is displayed with the Barbarian stuff) but repainting the Havok staff is a good idea.
Man that Skeletor is on fire!!! Jesus are you professional custom artist or something?? Because those customs are amazing! I'm a huge Skeletor fan! Also you really know how to pose the figures I'm watching all the videos to learn how to pose them. Amazing review, Revelation Tri-Klops was a disappointment to me, the little eyes and he needed the metallic paint, maybe I'm bold to say this, but to me, most of the Revelation figures are bad, bad paint, bad articulations, horrible face sculpts, just now with the latest waves the have been improving the line a lot.

The first version sticks so close to the animation model it has bland and disproportionate features. It shall remain forever in technocult garb. They made the latest look so much more refined everywhere. I keep thinking the coloring is off from his classic look but what they did looks good on its own…I don’t want to mess with it.
As good as he is I sometimes feel he’s still a little bland. I don’t know what else could be done besides an optic blast effect or a mini drone he built. I definitely wish they’d given him some sword holding articulation. But those are just nitpicks. He is a great figure
It does kinda look like a sash being all white with bedazzled colored eyes but it is actually a bandolier. I made sure to look it up to make sure I wasn’t completely wrong 😂

I would but I cut them up for custom fodder haha Oh well I prefer the updated classic looks of New Eternia.
