This is of course one of music history's absolute gems. Nothing like it, not before, nor after. Janáček has a very original and personal voice in music history.
I. 0:05
II. 4:39
III. 9:49
IV. 12:55
Janacek is one of my faves!!! Thank you for uploading all the left hand stuff!
One of my favorite works of Janáček. I have all of his scores.
Finally, you beat me to this one. Thanks. XD
Sorry if you were preparing it already!
Don't be. I actually made my own video of this back in 2016 but for some reason I didn't upload it. XD
This pops up by it's originality (I got it from the Spielplan of Musikverein). There is so much music that is standardized, not only commercial music.
Love Janacek
16:35 -> 16:43 - How on earth did the pianist in this recording manage to play these left hand doubles this fast?? 😮
A truly unforgiving piano part!
Was this written for Wittgenstein?
No. Please read: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capriccio_(Jan%C3%A1%C4%8Dek)
Maybe for Theodor Adorno?
