Appreciate you guys at MXA making the Fantasy MX League a free deal to play! It has definitely added another layer of enjoyment to watching the races every weekend! They should have a 2 stroke division in the race just like how WEC has 3 Classess during the racing. The overall champ or runners up qualify in the 2 Stroke world vet series. Hope any media crew recognises it as they do for it the privateers

AMA should let the 500cc BIG BORE TWO STROKES run in the 450's 💪😎 and the 250 TWO STROKES in the 250 class ! Be real interesting to see the outcome if so

almost nothing would change. maybe a couple privateers would ride a KTM 300, but outside of that, nothing would be very competitive. even a 250cc smoker against a 250cc 4 stroke is not an advantage. you don't have to speculate. they race 250 smokers in MX2 class in Canada and have for many years. Benoit won the MX2 championship on a smoker in 2018. it wasn't any faster than the 250's. He battled all the way to the end with Friese that year and certainly didn't have any speed or power advantage over him. ..and no one makes a 500cc MX bike... how the fuck do you not know that? do you even follow the sport at all? or are you just dumb?
The 2stroke purse is awesome. only thing better would be if they would let the displacement be closer to equal or at least allow 300s like you said.....I think we all know why that won't ever happen.
Definitely they are missing out on PR KTM killed it after they announced their extra offer. Yamaha is so out of touch with their 2 Stroke market. Hell they should make a factory edition 2 Stroke with Star racing components and graphics.
He didnt buy the damn bike, he said on darksides podcast that he rented it from rock river. Also was not stock. he talks about having the rock river guy do it for him.... rented it for the rest of the year, slapped the rick ware logos on it with permission that is why he was pitted next to but not under the rock river tent.

I don't know why the AMA is involved. The OEM's and the riders should have an election and if unanimous, dump the AMA. Then works bikes and 2T can resume as wanted. The AMA has everyone bamboozled.
When Jett is leading I’m sure they will but not for a long period of time. It’s not a separate race it’s almost like a race within just like WEC but it’s not associated with the overall class it’s mostly the riders who participate with the given machines. Definitely a round to watch only for the 2 bangs. Wouldn’t be possible without Moto memes, Jett Lawerence, Washougal, Motosport, and KTM. Brown is the Favourite for the 2 Stroke ‘Class’ 2x 125 Straight Rhythm Champ. Hope next year they add the 125
2 strokes are competing in the national (2 races, 30 min plus 2). Payout for 2 strokes is based on their finishing position (first 2 stroke gets xxx, second 2 stroke gets yy, and so on)

AMA needs to change the ancient rules as the 250 2stoke is not decent for competition against a 450 4 stroke. Brian Deegan has a video out where her rode Haiden's Star factory YZ250F against Haiden's mechanics Duffe's personal YZ250 2 stroke( which is not dead stock) Brian said the Factory 4 stroke 250 was much faster than the 250 2 stroke. So how in the heck is it supposed to run worth a darn against 450 4 strokes?
AMA please just make it legal to race a 250 smoker in the 250 class and allow up to 500cc of 2 stroke in the premier class. With homologation rules they should allow BRC 500 kits if they have anything saying you can't mod a motor like that if they allowed 500s. It's only fair for the 250s and I don't think a 500 will make a better bike than a 450 4 stroke for a lot of these riders. There's only so much power/torque you can put to the ground. My brothers KX450f kept up with my CR500 in a drag race in a dirt road. I only started pulling away at 5th gear. But that's only cause it was covered with loose rocks and such and I got some wheel spin while he got traction. By the time I caught full traction we were already going for or were in 4th. Plus they're harder to ride physically also. It's the only chance a privateer has to even have a chance at winning even though it probably would never happen. Imagine watching YZ500s and SX500s being apart of supercross and motocross. It'll give 4 stroke riders a taste of what it's like to not have a handicap. I would say allow 500 4 strokes too just for things to be fair but it's not necessary. Not many would bore out their 450s let alone ride a 500 2 stroke. What do the manufacturers and AMA have to lose? Factory riders will still be at the front of the pack every time. Only real spots I think would noticeably show the power advantage of a 500 would be something like the start and hills of glen helen if anything. It would definitely show in the 250 class but I don't think it's enough to bear factory guys.
I'm sure Des Nations orgainizers are chomping at the bit to see Haiden Deegan on a 250, but I'd rather see someone with more wins, like Levi. On the 450, it's gotta be Chase and either AP or AC
I'm no seeing any rational justification for excluding 300cc or even 500cc 2-strokes from competing in the 450 class. The rules are just stupis and dont make any logical sense. AMA needs to revise the rules, or maybe just grow a pair.
The rational justification was there a few decades ago when there were YZ400Fs and KTM 525s, and before either engine type the same kind of refinement they have now (fuel injection, specifically). The 4 stroke cc limit should be brought down, maybe to what the YZ400F was. On one of their websites, Yamaha claimed that to calculate a new 4 stroke engine size from a 2 stroke, they multiplied the 2 stroke engine size by 1.6 (250 * 1.6 = 400), and that's how they came up with YZM400's size.
