I’m probably alone in this, but I never minded Kushala’s fight and I found the idea that you had to build around his strengths and to take in account for his wind aura when positioning was really fun
Depends on which version of Kushala people are talking about. In Freedom Unite, Generations and Rise, Kushala is actually not so bad. Not so much in 4 Ultimate and MHW though.
@@Assassin-ix5iv Well, my guess is they saw the bitching of western purist fans and wanted to test the waters first with their more tame monsters. I.e. why we got Espinas first above all other Frontier monsters.
@@lucasfraczek4320 honestly I'm fine with most frontier monsters, just not those all over the top like duremudira, DISUFIROA and Eruzerion. I like Shantien and Guanzorumu tho. Frontiers mid tier monsters are the best ones.
Garuba Daora is a Kushala that adapted to a particular environment and the food there, becoming a Burst Species of it. It utilized Wind to a lesser degree than Kushala, but can I stead manipulate gold dust and the crystalline growths along its body to crystallize things or emit massive flashes of extreme heat that can kill most everything that's near it if they aren't within the protective barrier it creates.

I like how Kushala actually uses dragon element.
And yet he gets classified as an ice monster in Stories (would've been nice if we had a speed dragon monster too)
@@DexFire1115 that’s because his “main element” is still technically ice in every single game he’s in
@@DexFire1115that's because of Kushala's ecology where everyone of its species lives in tundra of frozen region.
@@Z3Milesky But in the lore, they can be found almost everywhere in the old and new world but by mere sightings.
Sunbreak Director wasn't kidding about his love of Frontier, Risen Kushala on MHRSunbreak has Garuba Attacks
