WheresThaHate Well, this theme is, by far, better than the old one from MH Freedom 2 and MH freedom Unite... cauz the old one sounds kinda lame and weird, and those impressions are intensified by the fact this theme played for Kushala, a mighty elder dragon...
Oni Hantaa tbh im very surprised you thought MHF2's theme for kusha was lame. hearing kusha's high pitched scream tearing your ears out while the song gets to its highest tone gave me and my bro the chills when we played. this theme however is good but it just dont do it for me.
While this theme is absolutely fantastic, I think it's a shame the actual fight is so easy, considering all you do is throw a few cannon balls at Kushala and hit him with an explosion...
I agree. My first thought in this battle was that this was going to be a great challenge. And then I was able to just spam the cannon shots because he almost never targeted me.
The way I see it with Shagaru Magala you did all the work and you were the hero. With Kushala Daora it was the ace hunters time to shine. Their combined teamwork made it so you didn't have to lift a finger. But probably too well making it you easy.
marmike300 sometimes in G* I think you get an urgent Quest to kill an elder dragon, sometimes it's rusted Kushala Daora first being in the same Arena, then fleeing, and when you do the quest 1-2 times again you are in the City-Arena where you also fight Gogmazios. This Theme plays during all 2-3 fights against him
My first MH game was 3U, so when I saw that cutscene for the first time I thought: "Alatreon, is that you? Oh, that's totally Alatreon! Awsome! Wait... Nvm, not Alatreon. ; - ;"
OmegaMetroid93 In the old games he was pretty much the same. As for MH4U I wouldn't be too sure since most of the returning monsters have had their moveset updated. Plus I don't have the game myself to play.
Rusted Kushala fights a little differently. He's a bit quick to land when trying to get behind you to attack. He also has this like forward lunge bite thing he can do either once or twice in succession. Other than that, it's mainly the same fight, except he is exclusive to the frozen arena Ukanlos is fought in and the town.
Awesome theme wasted to a monster that is cool but damn rusty Kushy is not even a new monster so him as a final boss and have a SEPERATE theme is just bullshit
Yes I like Kushy nice and rusty but still they could have atleast used Fatalis or Akantor or something that seems deadlier than Shagaru Magara the low rank final boss as an urgent rusty is beautiful but as the friggin final boss man that's just lazy but then I again I think crimson Fatalis is the final boss to offline g rank
thing is you can fight this monster again in G-rank as an urgent quest, so if it ran away the first time you get to have a rematch with it
One of the best antagonists in the series.
It just worked perfectly for the Ace Commander.
When a monster gets rusty and older: Gets its own theme, is more badass, more powerfull.
When you get old: You only get rusty
It's actually not an old Kushala, it's just the metal skin rusting. Kushala will shed it.
@Clifford Why
@Clifford ratio
@Clifford U mad?
@Clifford Just a question, nothing else
At last, kushala daora has a epic theme...
This fits very well at him!
whatchu mean kusha always had an epic theme/

Oni Hantaa what? it sounds awesome both of the themes for him in the older generatins sounded just as cool as this one.

Ain't got no neck
when you become the final boss twice.

Yes it was a bit of a shame. The battle with Shagaru Magala felt more like a final boss battle.

Samuel Heaton And only in this quest, not even G rank kushala gets this theme. What a waste because i like it more than the regular theme

This theme is really good.
While Rusted Kushala Daora is a real variant, I call this one Scarred Rusted Kushala Daora
it was attacked mid moult iirc.
i love this so much, favorite track in all of the series. long live the wind king
Best kushala daora theme yet besides rebidaora and garuba daora theme there's is still good
Would be very cool if this played for the risen version in Rise
Hoping to see a little easter egg from the first time Ace commander and Master fight this badass in the new series.
1:19 gives me chills
Good thing those three dislikes got eaten by rusted kushala
My first MH game was 3U, so when I saw that cutscene for the first time I thought: "Alatreon, is that you? Oh, that's totally Alatreon! Awsome! Wait... Nvm, not Alatreon. ; - ;"
Desolator The Failist I would like to fight him in the battle quarters
Can you do the the mission with this theme as many times as you want?
No. Only once per file.
What's the difference between Rusted Kushala and regular Kushala?
The difference is their age. The rusted colour of the skin is a sign that Kushala is ready to moult.
NemesisInferno Cool.
Are there any behavioural differences?

I have noticed myself that he seems to do more physical attacks and stays on the ground more.
My nickname is also kushy.. What a coincidence! Anyway, kusha is my favorite elder dragon forever. Since this vid he have 3 themes.
Never gonna forget about the first one in MHDos
Adam Stewart It's the snow area bgm from mh dos and it's not kushala daora's theme .....
Yes it is but from what I have heard it was originally going to be Kushala Daora's theme
***** It's the snow area bgm in mh dos and it's not kushala's theme. Kushala has only one in mh dos. Do your research .....
***** It has only 2 two themes not 3 , because mh dos had it's own snow area bgm ......
0:10 - kinda cute :3
なんで大老殿風翔龍のBGMは通常クシャのBGMなんだ…
まさかあの強さでまだ本気じゃないとか
Awesome theme wasted to a monster that is cool but damn rusty Kushy is not even a new monster so him as a final boss and have a SEPERATE theme is just bullshit
B-but.... Rusty kushy ;-;
He's an old monster, like really old so I think it's nice that they brought him back into the spotlight like this
Yes I like Kushy nice and rusty but still they could have atleast used Fatalis or Akantor or something that seems deadlier than Shagaru Magara the low rank final boss as an urgent rusty is beautiful but as the friggin final boss man that's just lazy but then I again I think crimson Fatalis is the final boss to offline g rank
You fight him again in g rank I believe
Yes but does he have new attacks might be my main question?
Adam Stewart I don't think crimson fatalis in offline is considered a G rank, i fought him, and all i got is high rank stuff from him.
