Now can some explain to me how the steel ones are more desirable than this? Wearing any Daytona is quite the flex, steel or otherwise (maybe more so for steel at this point). Own it and get the one with some color!
Most likely because gold is softer, so it scratches and dings more easily, so it's less ideal for a "sports" watch, or a daily wear; but I agree prices on the steel right now are crazy.
gold > platinum > steel all day, everyday. Speaking of I never understood why these luxury watch companies price their platinum watches twice as expensive as their gold offerings. The spot price of gold is 2.2 times more expensive than platinum and it's been that way for a decade now. I don't see platinum ever overtaking gold again.
i’ve seen exactly same case and dial but on an Oysterflex strap! I’m not sure if it’s a genuine Rolex model or probably custom work! I’ve looked online and i didn’t see anything related to it! Is it possible that you can confirm either way please?
The most beautiful dial for the gold daytona
116528 black p newman vs this gold dial ? Which is best
Now we are talking business, great timepiece, beautiful!!
If I love this watch!?! Jeez! Whoever doesn't love this watch is dead inside.
I'm a vampire and I am dead inside but I still love this watch .

You can actually attain the gold one if you have the cash to splash.

The steel is much cheaper, hence more sought after.

This model did not come on oysterflex. But you can put a aftermarket rubber strap on it which I did.. the watch originally comes on a leather strap.
