Nikon SD Card/Slot Repair

- I have a SD card jammed in the SD Card slot on my DSLR camera. This video shows how i fixed it.
Be aware of the damage it can cause when you use any force in regards to the SD card. This can happen with any camera. It is not brand or model specific!
It shows how careful you have to be, when handling an SD card in a camera.

Mate I had the same problem with my Ricoh GR2. I went crazy finding what happened. Found your video. Shake my camera and a small piece of something fell out. Now my SD card slot work again.
Literally the simpler solution fix the crazier problems.

Oh dear God. I'm losing my mind. I have been watching videos and even removed the door to my card slot camera...just to discover that I never did place my card in the camera. I was trying to remove the yellow box that reads "PUSH TO EJECT"....an hour I will never get back...but I did find this cool video and I will say that this is the best one that I watched. I do need new bifocals.

Thank you for this video. It helped me a lot with my Nikon D3000 Camera because it had the same problem with the SD card slot. I have a endoscope but I have seen with my eyes that something is in the slot and removed it. Now it works fine again.
just the help i needed, thanks! I have the exact same problem, just ordered myself some dental hooks from Amazon to see if I can get the piece of broken SD Card out myself.

i face the same problem but the part that stuck are too big and i have tried shake it, using sharp things but it still didnt want to come out. can you tell me what should i do please?

I think I damaged my SD card when trying to put it into my laptop… I think I turned it the wrong way and now One of the pieces of the plastic between the reader is sticking up. Can it be fixed? Do you know what I’m talking about?
not really know what you mean. is the plastic that's sticking out from the SD card?
Shook the camera and a small piece of SD card fell out. Card in the trash, card slot works fine....very relieved!

It is called sickle probe, also known as a dental explorer. Ebay and Amazon are full of it.

That depends on the camera, and in this case it'll cost more than the camera.

Try it with d5200 and similar, you will burn it .
