My 1984 has 350,000 miles and has been my daily driver for 26 years. I still get excited every time I drive it!
It's odd how the 915 is seen as a lesser gearbox, but the 5 speed 915 was the RS2.7 box. Mastering the 915 is part of the 911. The G50 was the first dilution of the pure 911. I've owned both, and currently own a 915 3.2. Fantastic 911s. The final development if the pure 911.
Basically don’t buy one they’re rust buckets
I thought I’d just offered too much for one, but this is 6 years old 🤦♂️
If only the guest’s mike was better
So basically they rust everywhere! Amazing German engineering!
Love the color... I had 2 911SC’s in Light Blue Metallic, both had painted wheels to match, so this video was a trip down memory lane. 👍
Simply incredible that for all the heritage and cost for these cars, no one paid attention to ensuring the design minimised rust. So it is when money making is the priority.
Only abused 3.2s normally rust....run away
Price guide?
Now this is a very informative and helpful review!

The Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera 1988 g50 and the Porsche 911 2.4 S 1972 in my opinion are the best Porsche ever made at the moment the Porsche Cayman 981 is the car you should buy amazing
Very knowledgeable! I love our '86 Carrera Cab. The sound is just wonderful and the power is perfectly suited to modern roads. A sorted suspension gives a nice compliant ride with little body roll. Maintenance is simple enough and parts are pretty available. Can't say enough good about the car! The 915 may be a bit slower, but really adds to the character and is far cheaper to rebuild than the G50. If you are considering one, go for it! You won't be disappointed! A true drivers car. F
Lovely colour really suits the porker. Basically then, they can rust pretty much all over. But hey for the year they are solid and for non galvernised im not surprised. Keep 'em coming!
I have always wanted a '87 911 but alas I'm poor so it getting more remote. Had a chance to drive a pristine speedster and they do sound and drive sublime. Thanks for the insight bud and keep these fantastic vids coming, always good to see 27 pop up as a video
excellent info here, interesting to hear of all those rust spots
That's one knowledgeable guy! That 911 looks the dogs bollocks !!
