When does a game become a simulator?

@@MattBarnett_ hm that’s an interesting topic. Some simulators are games, not all games are simulators. The game like factors involved with competitive sport can further confuse the topic. However, the key distinction with simulation is its significantly high degree of replicating real world physics and situations. Games however never have to look for that level of realism (although plenty do). The distinction with games is clear cut player progression and achievable objectives that most of the time lead to a conclusion. A conclusion is not 100% necessary now with the world of multiplayer competition.
