So I've been seeing a lot of sextuple kill clips recently and it seems to be a bug with Maugas Cage Fight. It seems that Elims Mauga gets after caging them in a Cage Fight count as 2 elims for some reason. I'm not sure if it shows up on the scoreboard as 2 elims but the announcer will say "double kill" after 1 elim and "quadruple kill" after 2 elims. The 3rd elim is where "sextuple kill" comes from.
I thought it was the cage fight itself if you look at the feed it says flats killed it at the start so it might count that as the 6th elim
He also killed the Bap lamp, wondering if that’s the trigger.
Oh I just assumed he killed someone then the enemy Merry rez and then they got killed again

6:37 is the exact problem. Counters should exist, but not to the extent that SWAPPING IS MORE USEFUL THAN ATTEMPTING TO SURVIVE A FIGHT
I agree. Hog’s whole premise is that he’s the “big boy” so why he becomes an instant kettle when hit with Anti-Nade 🤷🏽♂️ beats me. Ana is probably one of if not the hardest counter to legit every single character . That dart and her nade have always been and will forever be egregious 😭
@@bluefaygox23 Shifting her power balance by reducing her nade anti heal to 50% and buffing her healing a little or similar would be too smart for blizzard. Better to buff mauga on comp release.
@@bluefaygox23 because damage in the game is so high. anti isnt the problem. the fact that a tank with 40% damage reduction can die in such a short duration is the problem
@@bluefaygox23 I think 8ts because they refuse to make any of her abilities have reduced effect on tanks (I know about the sleep dart change), so 9 times out of 10 unless you're muaga you just explode if one of her abilities touch you.

In lower ranks no one heals Mauga because they think he can do it for himself, however he does so much damage the entire other team shoots him as a priority
I’ve noticed this. Lower ranks aren’t used to mauga commanding attention from the whole team. It’s just a horrendously designed hero. Hate playing with or against him because he holds team comps hostage. If you’re not playing Ana kiri its gg
I remember that one time, my team and I all focusing on killing the squishies other than mauga, but it cannot be done because mauga keep coming and killing us instead, so, me and the other supp, and 2 other DPS try to focus on mauga whenever he got naded, but our tank was screaming to not focusing the tank but we can't do that cause mauga is the reason we can't killed the squishies 😭🙏🏻
mauga makes me wanna chew my chair legs when playing with or against him. i play kiri, ana and zen and pump him full of heals is as much fun as watching a turtle cross the street.
and i want to destroy the developers whenever i try to 1v1 kiri and i get 2 tapped instantly by the smallest hitbox hero in the game with an immortality ability that heals and cleanses

The Mauga cage counts as a kill, straight after on Control Centre you get a quad, and the cage is in the feed

Btw the Sextuple kill in the beginning was because the Mauga ultimate counted in the kill feed as an elim for.. some reason lmao

Playing tank is the scariest thing ever, I'm a support main, but I wanna play 3 role with my friends on QP, got tank 2 times and I always sweating cause there's so many things happening, I always play ramatra thou, cause he's the only tank I able to play properly with 😂

Idk what its like in other ranks, but at least in EU high diamond there seems to be some kind of agreement that tank players aren't touching mauga atm, I played about 25 - 30 games yesterday and only saw him in 2 games and was forced to play him once. I will never pick him first, and most other tank players dont seem to either
Honestly, people's rank on tank means less and less the higher you get. At that point, it's just a coinflip for the rest of your team being good or not

Mauga vs. Mauga fights are absolutely dumb, I gotta' say. A lot of Tank mirror matches can be like that (Rein vs. Rein is pretty silly), but at least most other tanks have interesting kit. Mauga's kit is "Hold down the fire button harder". If you ask me, basing him around Life Steal was a mistake. There's no good way to balance that. Either he doesn't hit often enough against smaller targets and so he dies, or he unloads onto large targets and never dies. There's no middle ground. The only way I can see solving this without doing a major rework is to use the Brigitte approach - hitting weak points gives him a heal over time, with additional weak point hits just extending the duration.

Flats refusing to shoot the other Mauga in the head during the mirror matches is actually giving me anuerysms
No point, crits will start soon enough and they'll basically heal off eachother quicker than pre-fire crits can make up for. Also any support will make the crits worthless with their healing added on so garenteed dps is just safer
yeah, aim center mass for bigger target = more shots hit the target= on fire faster = faster perma crit from the right click
Fair points, I guess I’m thinking when they’re both ulted and face to face, both guns hitting crits may be the difference in him killing the other mauga, but pre fire headshots are not worth

You can't play rein right now. Not in the games current state. Unless you wanna go 3-16 and throw games. If it's QP it doesn't matter I guess

Overwatch in general is making me lose my mind almost every game I'm going into mauga and ana with mercy and moira players that think the don't need to go kiri at the very least people will sit there and genuinely argue "bUt iVe wOn gAmEs aS mOiRa iNtO tHem" but a even half decent mauga and ana will take a lobby over unchecked

Wondering what Flats thoughts are on hero locks. People complain SO much about counter picks, wouldn’t locking the hero you pick and removing the option to swap mid game solve this? How badly would it effect the game over all?
Maybe Ina way but think about junk and phara on diffrent teams, if you can't switch then junk is usually useless. I think a lot of people would be frustrated and mad, I would be ngl
I loose so many ranked games cus of a leaver its unreal plz why give whole team a Los just punish the leaver big time and scap it for team that lost a player and give other team a win still not punish the 4 other ppl still wanting to rank up
