as the comment above me says the console fov cant be changed and im pretty sure its under 90 so you’re pretty tunnel visioned 24/7, unless you look around often its more likely to be able to get caught off guard on console vs pc, coming from someone whose gold 1 on console and silver 1 on pc

A reminder that many console players play with TV speakers and cannot tell from audio what direction a Dva bomb is coming from. You can plug headphones into your controller but I doubt too many in bronze are doing so. Thats a big reason why you land so many big dva bombs.
Im a gold console player and i use a 15 dollar headset lol its AWFUL but its better than using the speakers from your TV,
I also dont understand how someone can be playing since 2019 and still be bronze.
I got my xbox in 2021 after not being lower class anymore and started playing overwatch2 when it came out. I was HORRRIIBBLLEEE. I was bronze! I really dont get how people just CANNOT improve. (Im still not good but im not as bad, but idrc I dont take the game very seriously)
I play switch and use beats headphones audio is good but my ears do start to hurt a bit after wearing them for a while 😅(not from sound just wearing them)
Still doesn’t explain why is happens on pc too😅

Only time I ever emote is when I get a massive team kill, but only on defender side as there’s time. If I did a team wipe on offense, I used the opportunity to buy the team time or to make up space

I play on the Xbox series S, I'm diamond 2 sup and 4 dps, the reality of console overwatch is insane, I encountered several tanks like him in DIAMOND!!! and you know what happens... He talked shit about me and the other sup not focus healing on him, like the rest of the team don't exist, was that time you blink to heal someone else and the tank got obliterated.
Any tank you find in diamond that plays like this is just boosted.
Had one of those tanks the other night. Was bitching and complaining because he was playing against his counters and blaming us for not killing them faster. I literally had to swap Genji just so the idiot could take a little less damage
@@GlitchTheLitch Console is weird. I play in plat there, I feel like most get there on their main then switch to counter-metas despite not knowing how to play that tank well. They probably got used to doing that with Orisa and Hog and getting away with it... but then they'll play DVA and play like this guy from a distance and not know how to dive, or play Mauga and just melt whenever they're forced to do something other than shoot the tank on main. It's not common, but it is definitely a thing. I see it a lot with newly viable tanks like Mauga, DVA, Rein, Zarya, etc... people switching to "counter" and not knowing how to actually counter

I don't understand how people exist in bronze, i tried ferociously once to make an account that low and failed.
And all i was doing was not falling off the map, and shooting in the vague direction of the enemy and that is more than enough for mid silver lol

People in bronze typically have no game sense and mechanical skill, they don't really fall off the map as much so I don't know why you would include that. They will literally walk into the enemy team 1v5 and die/feed 90% of the time and or use ult poorly or not at all. Also, vaguely aiming in the direction of the enemy team would really only work if you were playing Junkrat maybe. I would say 20% of players I fought against in Bronze were smurfs and maybe another 10% were griefers who would camp the enemy spawn or just walk around literally doing nothing. So I don't know what rank you were, but making a new account and crapping on people with 0 game sense and mechanical skill is not hard. As you get into Silver and above you will see a gradual increase in skill and game sense/objective control.

I really, really appreciate Flats' roasting and brutal honesty. It's funny, and that's why it's memorable when I play. I started watching his spectating series last year, and between his and Emongg's videos I've definitely improved. I can't make the comp grind to really hone my skills (carpal tunnel in both hands orz) but my quickplay and arcade games have been a lot more fun and consistent. Even when I lose, I can usually see a couple things that I could've done better or differently. So thanks for this series, it's a great help

Yeah until you realize this is ranked and they want to win. I know some care too much but many low rank players use terms like “elo hell” and say things like “why can’t I rank up” “I hate my teammates they hold me back”.
But let’s take a second. If all you want to do is throw out dva bombs then emote I don’t think ranked is where you should be, it’s nice to have fun but play qp instead of ruining other people’s matches

Guys guys guys I'm the Dva in this vid and I forgot to mention that in my description of my experience I forgot to add that although I was playing since 2018 I mostly played QP and only started caring about comp in like 2020 and still then only played it like a few times every other week

I'm just a casual dummy who sucks at the game still, but watching these bronze spectates has definitely taught me to be more proactive, for the longest time I was always that guy who just stood in the point AFK and never did anything until someone came to me, just thinking how my DPSs were dumb for trying to actually make plays. I'm not that player anymore at least.
