One of the key strengths of Singapore's economy is its focus on export-oriented manufacturing and a strong services sector. The government has also played a pivotal role in attracting foreign investment and promoting a business-friendly environment.👍

From 5:48 one of the best summary and explanation of Singapore's success. Note that eventual "map" or "web" of PAP's (or the Government's) role in the centre of the web was not attained instantly or in full from the start. It grew organically. But it is what governments should do - plan holistically.

Sg success is its acute awareness of its size, risk lack of natural resources and its only resource is manpower. Hence, it’s crucial that Sg approach development in a holistic manner with all policies from Seurity, political, stability, rule of law, housing, education, healthcare, R&D, manufacturing, trade, investments, building of National reserves, etc, being closely coordinated. These together with building trust / support between govt & people, clear explanation of policies, zero tolerance for corruption & social ills such as drugs, racial / cultural / religious discrimination. The strong far sighted govt leadership and willingness to make personal sacrifice for the progress & preparation for future generations makes Sg success story.
