I loved seeing you eat the doughnut and actually enjoying it and smiling while eating it. I don't think you could have done that a couple of month's ago. Just keep going.

Fi you've come so far. You're right, it's hour by hour, step by step. The sun is shining today! My dog woke me up by stealing my covers lol so it was an early start for me. Hope today makes you smile ❤❤❤

I hope you get yourself into inpatient. It's really what you need Fi. I feel that you team is more than likely recommending it which could be bringing on all that anxiety over your appointments. I do get it though--no one wants to really go into treatment but, think about your future and how much quicker you can overcome this again with the 24 hour care you most likely need. It's not forever and you can do this!!!

@Frieda I knew she went before from an article about there not being enough beds where’s she’s from so she had to travel away for inpatient for about two years
And it was a big deal for some reason over in the UK.. I mean I traveled to another state in my country hours away for one of my inpatient stays.. unfortunately I fear that this ED has such a strong hold on her that it could be bringing out the worst.. I’m sure she didn’t want to go inpatient becuase feel down she doesn’t want to gain weight ultimately. It’s sad and scary but this disease is completely overcoming to a person. I feel horrible for her parents as well. I’m sure they are in a living hell. I know my parents were when I was deep in my ED at home. Inpatient was a godsend becuase I was I. Good hands and they could actually breathe for a bit.

I think its a great idea that your parents are preparing your meals. It tends to get hard when trying to do it ourselves. You can trust your parents and that is very helpful. You are doing great! Keep going!

Fi!! I am so incredibly proud of you!! This is the best post in awhile. Long time coming girl!! You did an amazing job today tackling the hard times and staying focused on what has to happen to find more fun times out for Fi!!

One hour, one meal, one bite at a time, you’re absolutely crushing it! I know letting others take over meal prep can cause its own anxiety, and it speaks a lot to your strength that you’re letting the process unfold and doing everything you can to keep moving forward, and to just keep swimming. I feel like I’m in a similar place…my outpatient team just dropped me, and all of them, as well as several other therapists I’ve tried to get in with lately keep saying “you need a higher level of care.” And my options are very limited, not just with the ED, but with chronic physical illnesses, ASD, OCD, and just everything in general. Rooting for you to be able to do whatever it takes to keep getting back to Fi! And hopefully that can keep happening at home where you’re much more comfortable than in the hospital.

Fi you should pick up crocheting. There’s tons of tutorials on RUclips. I feel like it would help relax you and distract you. I’m rooting for you 💕💕 you can do it.

I took up crochet when I was in recovery for bulimia and depression - it was the best decision I’ve ever made! I think crafts give a wonderful distraction and a sense of accomplishment 💕

Hope you do manage to stay out of hospital. It's no fun 🥲 but don't fight it if it's too difficult ❤️🌈 I'm also being referred to s IL EDU for "just in case" 😩 currently back on the medical ward being tube fed, desperate to avoid a situation where I'm forced into something 🥲

Going into the hospital might help both you and your family if that is what you need. It will allow you to move forward in your progress and give your worried mom's heart a little relief.
I have an adult daughter that is medically fragile. I know that this is a struggle for her too. 🥰
