This AOE2 Romans Build Order gave me a 90% win rate

- This new aoe2 romans build order is an INSANE 13:10 fast castle in to knights and scorpion spam. I won 9 out of my first 10 games with this romans build order.

This AOE2 romans build order takes advantage of the romans faster working villager eco bonus in order to fast castle at 13:10 and begin making knights to defend and attack with. at 16:00 you add a forward seige workshop and take advantage of the romans other bonus of cheaper scorpions. you then add a 2nd workshop to spam scorpions whilst adding knights.

If I could push deer on xbox I’d give it a shot. I haven’t even played for a few months after being discouraged coming off of a losing streak and having multiple “disconnects” happen when I was undoubtedly going to win made it even worse.

Thanks for this build order. I am wondering if this also working well with roman man-at arms (longswordsmen)? Cheaper, but less mobile unites then knights, but maybe additional resources can be spent on double bit axe, blacksmith upgrades.

Extreme AI is kinda a joke if you follow a build order. You can literally do what this video shows and easily kill the extreme AI without any problems.
I usually do it vs Extreme AI but as the other comment says, even extreme AI isn’t the same as a real player so it makes no difference as i always have a real 1v1 game using the strat linked at the end of the video, which gives a much better idea of how it works vs a player. My opponents are 1500 elo which is considerably more difficult than extreme AI :)
Why don’t you make these tutorials against real players on the ranked ladder? I think it would be a lot more educational and fun to watch.
there's always a link at the end of the video's to me using the build in a 1v1 ranked game :) just gotta watch to the end to find it. the purpose of these guide is purely to show the steps of the build order in a situation where the screen isn't flicking all over the place when using hotkeys so you can actually see which vills go where :) there's actually 2 ranked videos of me using this on the channel
I make these videos in the way that i wanted build order videos to be when i first started playing as i found it hard to see where the pro's were sending the vills as they were flicking back and forth to the scout or to sheep - scouting so i missed where the vills went half the time.

Nice guide! Is this viable when your opppent goes full archer rush?
I'm quite noob to 1v1 and tried your BO against Extreme AI and go overran by 25+ archers then crossbows, even though I made it to castle Age and I was able to pump like 6-7 knights and 6-7 scorpions

So how do you manage to send the animals you find to your base without clicking anything? I just tried this against hard and fell behind. The only thing i can think of is I'm missing hotkeys.
This isn’t live gameplay, it’s using a recorded game. So, when live i am click the sheep back to the TC. I do have 1v1’s on the channel using this.
how did you click castle age when only having 200 gold? 5:40? sorry im noob
nevermind, i found out it's only 200 gold to advance lol. was confuseed with aoe1
