I just got a heat press from Wayfair. They are having Closeout sales on some of their presses. Wayfair is a reputable company. I didnt look up reviews on the press because at $105 with free shipping I didn’t care. It arrived and I ran it last night. It a 12x15 swing style and heated up nicely. Everything is working correctly. The only thing different from your recommendations is that it only heats to 400. I can’t image that the lack of the additional 50 degrees will be an issue since the botanical prints are at 310. I’m waiting on the Chems, felt and Teflon. I should be making test prints next weekend! Whoo hoo! Question: I haven’t been able to find the Copper Sulfate. How is it different from the Ferrous Sulfate? I suspect it’s the color it imparts.
These are questions that are too long to answer here, but you really should look up my "Best of Both Worlds" book on Amazon, Debbie. It gives all the information you need so you don't have to guess about proportions and you understand the chemicals you are using. That's really important so you can be safe in handling them.
I just found a Seal Masterpiece 210m commercial heat press at a local thrift. It doesn't have a digital screen just a hand dial reader. It goes from 150°-350° and is 18.5" x 23" I'm hoping this will work for eco heat press printing. For $100 I thought it may be worth the risk to purchase it. Just wish it didn't weigh a ton (actually just 77.5 lbs, but still that's heavy).
heat press is the best method imo, the least messy and you can print specific areas of the fabric
Totally agree!
Thank you so much for your tips!!!

Sounds like it will work to me. And yeah, it's a workout getting the thing on the countertop!
