I use one of these for blues and slide, I finally got around to getting a set up done on it, new strings, lower action, the frets got a bit of a polish and a tweak. Mine cost £70 from ebay a bargain if you ask me. It looks and sounds magic IMO.
Hi there. I haven't tried that Tanglewood although the Tanglewood's I have played have always been decent. I can certainly vouch for the Vintage guitars being great value. I've gigged with my other one for 10 years and its been a workhorse! Good pickup systems too. Hope that helps my friend!
Got one last week, needed some setup for the neck coming out of the box (fret buzz on first frets), but after adjusting the neck a bit it plays very nice. Reminds me a bit of the Tanglewood guitars, they also had a vintage styled series.
Yes absolutely. Like most cheaper guitars the action may arrive a bit on the high side. If you can get someone in store or a friend who plays to adjust the neck, it'll make a big difference. That goes for any guitar but especially the cheaper ones that typically aren't set up before shipping. Hope that helps my friend and happy playing!
I actually bought the dreadnought version without the electronics. I would use the electronics as much as you did for recording in this video XD Vintage won't mind the marketing though :)

Thanks for the video/review. Thinking of getting this as a second guitar for live string breaks etc. Looks good. Cheers 👍
Yeah this would make a good choice bud 💯
Hi Are the size and depth of these acoustics ie 100cm from the wider bout similar to the tanglewood super folks?. Ian
I have this guitar! I love it to bits and the recommendation by a teacher at school was perfect for me
Great job by your teacher 💯 lovely guitar to learn on, keep at it bud 👍
What do you think, this one or Tanglewood TWCR OE is better choice?

Which one did you go with in the end?

Did you only have to adjust the truss rod to sort it?
@@AshCollins yes, bridge and action was well setup. only tuss rod needed a bit adjustment . It has excellent tuner onboard.
Hi bro! Top and back is solid or laminate? And about the body depth is same of the VE900? Thanks
hey bud, yeah solid top and back and yes depth is just as the VE900, apart from the visuals it's pretty hard to tell them apart
@@realhomestudioofficial Where did you read that it has a solid top?
@@AA-MusicVideos-zs1nu Definitely an all laminate body!🙂
can I use this guitar for other play styles, such as pop punk, etc?
Yeah absolutely bud 💯
What is the action like for this guitar? Is it suitable for an amateur? Thanks

Nice playing bro 👌👌
Thank you my friend 💯🙏
Is this guitar lightweight or heavy to hold, when you're standing?
Hi Barbara, it's lightweight 👍
Very light ❤
That Guitar has a sweet sound - nice playing too!
Cheers bud, yeah it's really great value!

Great stuff!
Cheers bud!
What is the scale made of?
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fretboard Material: Techwood
Is the guitar solid wood or laminate?
laminate, according to the specs I read on one dealer's site.
Plywood though, right?
Mahogany
@@realhomestudioofficial Yes, but mahogany plywood, I believe. Nowhere have I seen any reliable stats claiming it has a solid mahogany top.
