Murata Tamu was already a famous drummer on RUclips before she joined Nemophila, and one of the most popular footage of hers was the drum cover of this song, KURENAI, in 2016. That is the reason why Nemophila covered this tune. You can see Murata's version here: ruclips.net/video/qyRzBO_MEm4/видео.html
Thanks for responding to Nemophila's cover of XJAPAN's "Kurenai". How did you like the explosive drumming of Tam Murata? This song is a drum-centric song written by X JAPAN drum and piano player YOSHIKI. Tam Murata of Nemophila is also a drum and piano player!
I love this song and it is a great cover! They always do great covers! Such a beautiful start with Hazuki and I love the sound of her Ibenez. Thank you for reacting to this video and Happy New Year.
Thanks so much for the smiles. What a nice way to wake up on New Year's Day! After this I probably don't need the coffee that's brewing in the other room. Going to drink it anyway while watching again...
Thought you would like that one. Love how Tamu just collapses into the drums at the end after giving it her all and then some while the rest of the band just has these looks of "I can't believe we just did that" mixed of course with sheer joy. And of course the beginning when it starts off as this soft, slow, haunting ballad before suddenly going absolutely insane. You actually did a pretty good Tamu impression yourself falling back into your chair at the end after really getting into it throughout, was fun to watch.
Hiiiii. You found the song😆 They are Awesome... And listen to the original X Japan song from 1986 i think You are a cool cool Lady🙃 Have a good year, From Norway😆
After this video, new guidelines for 2022 for all European young drummers: 1. Register at the local gym 2. Buy an oxygen tent and have it ready for use after the training session Happy new year to all lovers of real handmade music : Cajun, Bluegrass, Jazz, Blues, Blues Rock, Rock, Hardrock, Grunge and Heavy Metal
Recorded Whist having a practise session getting ready for one of there online live concerts .They have done this song a few times and know it well especially Tamu .You dont get many bands trying to cover it as you need a drummer that can keep up the doubles at that tempo Tamu mimics Xjapan's drummer at the end falling on the kit .Xjapan are legends in japan, drummer and composer Yoshiki Hayashi is well known for all aspects of music and for his high energy drumming resulting in neck damage and drumming to the point of total collapse performing at times in a neck brace .Every member of Nemo do justice to this song the passing of X's guitarist Hide in 1998 was very traumatic in japan i think he would of approved of Saki and Hazuki on the 7 string playing the parts .

Nice. I love Tamu. Tamu and Akane are my faves. Please watch the X Japan version from the last live concert. Yoshiki the drummer is such a showman and power drummer. He hits hard!! The whole band is great and influenced so many of the modern bands.
I think you would love Akatsuki by Babymetal. It is a tribute to X Japan and Kurenai. It also includes one of the best dual guitar solos ive ever heard and insane drumming all the way through. I know you love dual guitars, as well as crazy drums.
High energy drumming all the way through - and Murata Tamu-san suffers ... but it's so refreshing to see the joy the band has while playing "Kurenai". It's a "tour de force" somehow, with emphasis on "force", or a "atto di forza" (not only for the drummer), and so they play it: rather imprecise, but wild, raw, and with maximum energy! I'm curious for your next reaction already! Let me remind you of Unlucky Morpheus, please, you'll love that band! Although I originally suggested the song "Angreifer", I meanwhile changed my opinion: now I'd suggest "Dignity of Spirit" (or probably more precise "May his soul rest in peace") - ruclips.net/video/x7W9DcUKY_U/видео.html. But It's all high quality music (For a music video, you may choose "Black Pentagram") Happy new year, keep on doing your good work, and never forget to practice, lol!
@@michihiroonodera6579 Oh yes, Jill is great, a world class violinist, and a very special person, I guess ... who would cancel a promising career as a classical violinist just to join a heavy metal band? (O.k., I admit, Unlucky Morpheus is more than just "a" metal band - but still her move is quite remarkable!)
Yoshiki, drummer and composer for X Japan is a legitimate rock god. He suffers from a variety of health issues including asthma and would play so intensely, he would literally collapse on stage. Tamu is paying tribute to him. You need to see the documentary "We are X."
Enjoyed the reaction. I LOVE ❤️ LOVE ❤️ LOVE ❤️ NEMOPHILA!!!! PLEASE do something with the volume on the video you're reacting to sometimes the volume is so low on them I have a hard time hearing it even with the volume cranked up all the way
React to version the SHOW-YA (1band female to Heavy Metal Japanese) (Fairy, Look at Me, Lovers, One Way Heart, Shooting Star, Gambling, etc, etc)hay una versión completa que dura 6'21
I liked the cover for sure but It’s not as intense as how X Japan played it. Maybe give the original version and band a look . You’ll be blown away , specially those drums. By the way nemophila’s album is really good 👍
As a drummer you can't miss to react to the french band Gojira if you haven't heard them. Start with Gift of guilt live from London. Then you have some practice on the drums in front of you. 🙂
So you have eventually discovered X Japan. :-) Best X Japan covers were made by Daisuke Kurosawa who has the same drummer (Tamu Murata of Nemophila). As you seem to be into drums, you can pick X Japan covers from her own channel as the camera is all the time on her. You can try this one, I promise you won't be disappointed. ruclips.net/video/lNd3K8nCpvA/видео.html

Think you should listen to the original ones from X Japan, Last Live has the best live pieces. (unsure how familiar you are with X Japan, but this song. And many other were made by their drummer/pianist Yoshiki, many of his lyrics are based from the loss of his father. he committed suicide when he was 10yo )
Tamu is master of double kicks, her smiling grows as her intensity.
すごくかわいい反応😊

Nemophila Des!!! This is the type of speed/power metal that I like. X-Japan is the Forefather of Visual Kei🤘😎🤘
the most notable thing in their covers, in my opinion, is that it's always clear how much they love playing music, and that's all that counts
Yeah!! Their smiles are ENORMOUS!!

Yup, that's the one.
I'll let someone else explain why Tamu lays for dead on her drums.
She did that at the end of Daisuke Kurosawa's sessions/covers of Kurenai too...in order to pay the homage.
Yoshiki, you beautiful, wild drums animal!
If all the female bands were around when I lived in japan I would have never came home
