Ehh. My personal OPINION is that the Hellcat looks better and sounds better. Also, the Hellcat Charger is 4 doors so it is a great and fun family car. This is still a great deal though and an amazing color.

Stock exhaust sounds so underwhelming on video but that's easily fixed with an aftermarket catback

I was wondering about the internals, but he addressed that issue in the review. Very respectable car and outstanding power for the price. I think they were able to save by not adding this package on the higher end cars with more tech and creature comforts. If you looking just for some power, this looks like it's the way to go. I'll be on the lookout on these on the road so I know to bring the A game in the Hellcat before I gets embarrassed.

Stock exhaust is sweet and satisfying, on my 2016 GT, I had a 2000 with after market exhaust and it was very loud. This is cool for me

Thanks for the video. Honestly I was debating minor mods or just wait and slap on the Roush kit. I'll definitely just wait and go with the Roush kit to get the stealthy power. That Phase 2 kit is awesome price to performance and all keeping a warranty is awesome. Thanks for the video again!

$45k is an amazing deal for this. I spent about that on my 16 GT Premium Performance Pack with added options. Wish I would have seen this video before I bought my car lol

I enjoy the great new cars, Mustangs, Vettes, and all things MOPAR. The Lambo's and Porsches and many BMW's are a little more money for a great car. I still remember owning/driving/wrenching on 1960's Mustangs, Roadrunners and Challengers. Us "muscle car guys" back in the 60's and 70's built and drove it. 400 horses was the 'Magic Number'. I'd REALLY like to emphasize that having the money to buy a 600+ horsepower car Out of the Box is great, but it does NOT make you a good driver. Most people think they are good drivers but anything much over 400 hp will straight up kill you if you are not experienced and trained properly. So, when you buy YOUR super car please set aside about $5K for a few days at a reputable racing school. It could save your Life. Money does not = driving skills. Street Legal Cars should be limited to about 375 horses unless you are Certifiable trained from a recognized Driving/Racing School. Just one old Hot Rodder's opinion but I hate seeing young guys killed for no reason other than their Love of Hot Cars. Think about it...

I just picked up a 19 premium and added a stage 1 roush supercharger. I'll be installing the supercharger after a couple oil changes.
how has the super charger held up ? any other internals mods done to car u recommend before super charging ? i just picked up a 2017 2 months ago .looking to supercharge this year
I love the sound of it. simply beautiful.
Great platform to start with. The car would be a better/faster car in the 1/4 with a 3.31 or 3.15. The 3.73 when you go blown is to much. It works fine for a person who never track races or only runs 1/8 tracks.
You may want to put some aftermarket half shafts before putting some raials and taking it to the quarter mile track though. That's one amazing deal though. Will hopefully be trading in my 2016 2SS for one of these bad boys.
roush offers those if you go to the site and do the build, but I agree, go insurance! Would def add if I was going to pick one of these up. I'm curious how much power it ACTUALLY makes on the dyno as I'm a skeptic, and trap speed in the quarter mile will tell all.
i just got a nice 2011 with the same supercharger and i love it. Its like driving my dads 1968 firebird but its a modern car that drives nice.
It’s not the same supercharger. This one has a 2.3 TVS for the Gen 2 Coyote. Your 2011 requires a different setup.

Is anything done to the stock transmissions when you add this much HP & Torque?
The boosted 3v does low 11s on a stock block/internals with 470rwhp- 480rwhp.
The first thing I would change other than dropping it is, those boring non aggressive wheels and add an equally aggressive spoiler.

This is really an amazing value for what your getting. I always loved the Mustang body style but wish it had the horsepower to compete with the likes of Dodge and the upper echelons of Camaros. I love what Ford is doing with this option.

Wait what? You do knowntheor different trims for mustangs right the 5.0 competes with the camaro ss and scat. The gt500 competes with the hellcat and zl1 and is the fastest of the three.
Sounds like a good deal till you go to trade it in. The GT with performance pack is 36k, and with this package your probably going to end up spending around 42-45k.

Some one should build a AWD transfer case for Mustang! All that power on rear wheels did make a mutang famous but mostly for wrong reasons.👀

Who would still want an GT350 over the $41k 727HP Mustang GT, that 8250 RPM, Magnaride and few other goodies!
Yeah that's insane price, but I would take the GT350 because of the resale value.
Some people get cars because there faster some get cars for The attachment and feeling, people who get them for the attachment keep them longer and people who get them for speed sale them because there's always something faster, I personally still will choose the challenger over this not because of speed but because I love the styling.
Would love to get my hands on one of this. Can't afford it though

Enjoy watching your videos RP. That's a sick deal. That said, in my opinion, the Challenger is a "muscle car". The Mustang no longer is. And I can't get over how the rear end looks. Nothing aggressive about it. compare the back end of the challenger and mustang, it's 2 different worlds. just waiting for those T/A 392!
I wonder if these Roush 5.0 supercharged engines fit in Superformance GT 40 replicars?
Most guys lean towards the n/a 351 Windsors bored and stroked to 427.
The resale value on these 2017 Rousch supercharged applications might go higher than the purchase price very quickly. The 2018 Mustang GT has a more complicated engine much like that of a Genesis 5.0 to a degree, which actually sounds like a Diesel motor at idle.
Independent software engineers will be in a race to crack the new code on their own, and possibly with help from unauthorized and authorized FORD covert leakers.
I want to get a roush supercharger so bad but I think it would be better to continue saving and get a Shelby or roush mustang

The Mustang in general is cheaper than any Charger or Challenger and with this they're a steal.
Don't get me wrong, love all muscle cars I own a 84 fox but I'm starting to see to many s197 & s550 mustang gt's on the road, I barely see any rt/sp, srt ,& hc, even though they are very heavy I like being comfortable and so does my family, getting groceries and beating sport cars have never been better lol in my boat aka family sedan
I love this more than I did my challenger, fits me way better challenger is way too wide for me.

So, you get this package, let's say 2018, supercharger, 42-43k all good... considering it just went from 460hp to 700hp - how are the other parts? Would I need to replace any additional parts like suspension, tires, etc. ? If the suspension/axles are spec'd for 460hp, how does 700hp impact that? It's nice to have power, but to rip the car apart because of the hp gain in the amount of 40%, it'd be nice to prevent that :)
I'd love to see a dyno before / after and some quarter mile times plus a much more important indicator: quarter mile trap speed before vs. after.

Hey buddy. For starters, I'm not very automobile savvy. I'm looking at a 2017 Mustang GT without the performance package. Now, you said this car has 3.73 gears. when I go to americanmuscle.com and search for 3.73 gears does this car have the $200 option that is the IRS ring gear and pinion set.....or are you talking about the IRS loaded differential housing that comes in at $1,869. I'm trying to figure out the cost of doing the performance package myself because I cannot find 1 on a Mustang locally.

No but there are few good builders the mt82 has synchro problems 5th gear mostly.
