22:25 There is one thing that I would like to correct here. The timeline of Laurelion getting stabbed was actually during the time of the orphan queen, so around the 400 years ago mark. The orphan queen also was heavily hinted as being the one that stabbed Laurelion, and she even borrowed the nova blade as confirmed by the elder in season 6

6:05 I also think Rayla is going to at least be temporarily banished for breaking Runnan out, which will make the stakes higher when she tries to get unghosted. But I strongly feel that Callum should be removed or at least suspended from the council for going behind their backs and freeing Runnan without telling anyone.
I understand that his reasoning for helping Runnan wasn’t only about making Rayla happy. After reading Callum’s Spellbook, he reflects on how easy it would be to hate Runnan, but hate is what caused all of this in the first place. So I do also see this as Callum taking Harrow’s final message to heart, and wanting to show Runnan mercy, but it doesn’t erase the fact that he made that choice without telling Ezran. He and Rayla had the chance to tell him before they left, but that somehow slipped both of their minds.
Not only did he show no regard for his little brothers feelings, but Callum didn’t consider that as a prince and high mage, his actions affect the rest of the kingdom too. We saw how Opeli reacted to seeing Rayla take the weapon that was used to kill king Harrow. How would the people of Katolis feel if they found out their prince was going to let the guy who killed the king go free without even telling the king.
This could easily be seen by many as an act of treason, like when Viren called that meeting of the pentarchy after the rest of council told him not to. And like Opeli said when he did that, those actions reflect badly of all of Katolis. So I’m hoping to see Soren or Opeli tell Callum how stupid and selfish that was of him.

yessss I completely agree ! Callum has always been willing to do anything for Rayla as well, but he doesn't really take into consideration the rest of the kingdom. I think he should just have a talking to or something to help him realize where he went wrong and to apologize. For Rayla, I think that she should at least try to understand Ezran a bit , because even though the dragon queen ordered the assassination of king harrow, Runaan was still involved, ykwim? Callum and Rayla are still super good characters, but they have so much room for development, along with Ezran!

    • @AngelesLunamoth
      @AngelesLunamoth  Месяц назад +3

I couldn’t agree more about the fact that Callum needs to face consequences.
I know that I harp on the key incident from season 5 a lot but that was just not okay on so many levels and when Callum bailed Rayla out using his authority as PRINCE and HIGH MAGE….
DISHONOR! Dishonor on him! Dishonor on his scarf!
Also because in Dreamer’s Nightmare, he wanted to be involved in the kingdom as Prince. But now that he actually has that responsibility, he is not upholding Katolis’ values. While it’s not explicitly stated that Katolis as a whole values JUSTICE, that is Harrow’s big thing and that was clearly passed down to him from King Atticus.
So yeah, while I can appreciate him trying to honor Harrow’s last words, he really needs to do some reflecting.
I’m personally hoping it’ll be Opeli who will call him out on it again. But it would be nice if Soren scolded him for a good reason which would also show how much he has matured from season 1 where he reprimanded him mostly out of envy.

@@Tia-mei I really like what you’re bringing up about Rayla being more considerate with Ezran considering that in Season 1, when she is torn about her own actions on not completing the mission, it was actually Ezran who lent his listening ear and validated her.
But absolutely, all these characters have room for growth and I’m hoping to see it!

15:39 I’m really looking forward to seeing Soren and Terry’s interactions. I think True Heart will end with Terry realizing that Claudia is going down a path he can’t follow. He is probably going to find Soren, knowing that if there is any chance of saving Claudia, he will need Soren since he is the only family she has left.
I’m curious how much he really knows about Claudia’s family history. Given how he referred to Viren as “legendary”, I’m guessing Claudia has given him a really biased description of events. She might have said that Soren abandoned their family, without mentioning or minimizing Viren’s horrible actions towards Soren and Xadia. So I expect that Soren will give Terry a more complete understanding of what happened between them, but will still ultimately try to help Claudia.

    • @AngelesLunamoth
      @AngelesLunamoth  Месяц назад +1

An interaction between them would in fact be interesting, especially considering the fact they technically did interact in Season 4 but Soren was actually silenced by Terri’s leaves. Which is really interesting because he would question the information Claudia gave him now.
I also agree that while Terri may not be willing to walk the path with Claudia, I do think he would be the one who would actively try to steer her away from Darkness.

King Ezran’s attraction to Queen Anya can be attributed to several factors that highlight both her character and their shared experiences:
Strength and Resilience: Anya is portrayed as a strong and capable leader, with a history of bravery and resilience. Ezran likely admires these qualities, as they complement his own character development and the challenges he faces as a king. Her strength provides a sense of partnership in facing their responsibilities together.
Shared Values: Both Ezran and Anya value kindness, justice, and the well-being of their people. This shared commitment to doing what is right fosters a deep connection between them, as they are aligned in their goals and principles.
Empathy and Understanding: Anya’s ability to empathize with others, combined with her protective nature, resonates with Ezran. He has a compassionate heart and appreciates someone who shares that sensitivity towards others, making Anya an attractive partner.
Adventurous Spirit: Anya’s adventurous nature and willingness to take risks align with Ezran’s own sense of exploration and curiosity about the world. Their mutual love for adventure can create a strong bond, as they encourage each other to embrace challenges together.
Complementary Skills: Anya possesses skills and knowledge as the Queen of Duren, and her experience can complement Ezran’s growth as a leader. This dynamic may enhance his attraction to her, as he recognizes the value of having a partner who brings unique strengths to their relationship.
Support and Loyalty: Throughout their interactions, Anya demonstrates loyalty and support for Ezran. This unwavering support is likely to create a deep sense of trust and attraction, as Ezran feels understood and valued by her.
Mutual Growth: Their relationship allows both characters to grow and learn from one another. Ezran's development as a king is likely influenced by Anya’s presence and insights, further deepening his attraction to her as they navigate their roles together.
In summary, King Ezran’s attraction to Queen Anya stems from her strength, shared values, empathy, adventurous spirit, complementary skills, and unwavering support, all of which contribute to a deep emotional connection and partnership.

4:01 is kinda a valid point and applies a lot considering how much of the new footage includes Aanya, though there could be a explanation as to why (warning it is very long, I tried to word it as best as I could)
This particular instance there doesn’t look to be a lot of room between the chairs and walls on either sides of the table, so I imagine it could be kind of awkward from a layout standpoint to have to fit two additional people into the shot even if it is a logical security precaution. I assume they would have taken these precautions considering the risk of having not one…but two monarchs in the same place (three royals if we’re counting Zym), my best guess is that the Duren guards are there, but not in frame at this very moment. The other guess is due to a sudden departure shortly after the news of Sol Regem’s attack, I imagine Ezran’s group leaving the Sunfire settlement as soon as they can and were told it would be fastest by taking Embertail and Aegis. Because Hotcats can hold two people at most as we’ve seen, an odd split between riders may have made it difficult for the guards to accompany her, so maybe the Banther Lodge became their rendezvous point.
However, Aanya should absolutely have been accompanied by her guards when she as well as Ezran, Zym and Bait are in the Valley of the Graves very obviously being corralled by hostile spirits. This is especially crucial when you bring up the fact that Aanya is the only one there with a weapon ready to fight to protect Ezran…who I know has a few Katolian soldiers present as this is happening but even they’re struggling to keep the foes at bay.
Speaking of Ezran and Aanya, based on a lot of the new shots are of them together, I really do hope that while Aanya will be there to support Ezran….I do want to see him get a serious reality check this season..and learn how to wield a weapon.

OH ABSOLUTELY! Ezran is emotionally going through it but I do hope that that rage is channeled into learning how to not only defend himself but defend others.
Both Sarai and Harrow were warriors.
ALSO! Because he is holding the nova blade in one of the posters.
I’m really hoping that he will not only find it, but also WIELD IT! It would be a shocker given he is a pacifist but he is a KING and like you say, the reality check needs to come knocking on his door this season.
Also I agree, they probably just took off from Lux Aurea with a small party of three.

During the Red Wedding episode of The Dragon Prince, it’s likely that some humans and elves picked up on subtle romantic hints between King Ezran and Queen Anya. The episode showcases moments where they interact with warmth and mutual understanding, which hints at a developing bond beyond their political alliance. Given that they share similar ideals and responsibilities as young rulers, onlookers-particularly those close to them-may have sensed a deeper connection.
Ezran and Anya’s dynamic in scenes like their discussions, shared moments of laughter, and mutual support show a closeness that could easily spark speculation among their allies and advisors. While their relationship remains subtle and primarily based on friendship and mutual respect, the warmth and trust they display may have hinted to others at the potential for romance, especially since their alliance could further unify their kingdoms.

Lol I think that could just be my taste though

I believe King Ezran’s fury could be resolved by embarking on a journey of deep self-reflection and understanding. The burned throne and Novablade represent not just his pain, but the weight of his responsibility as a leader. To overcome this, Ezran could learn critical truths that reshape his perspective:
The Three Baby Glow Toads: If Ezran realizes how his actions indirectly pushed Callum toward dark magic and how this strengthened Aaravos, it could lead to his own accountability and steps toward redemption.
The Truth About Runaan: By learning why Callum and Rayla didn’t tell him about reviving Runaan, Ezran could gain insight into the complexity of trust and the burdens his friends carry.
His Father’s Death: Discovering that Harrow’s soul was transferred into a bird could help Ezran channel his fury into unraveling Aaravos’s manipulations, instead of succumbing to anger.
Ancestors’ History: Learning his ancestors’ connection to Aaravos would help Ezran navigate his role in this generational conflict.
Claudia’s Redemption: If Ezran understands that compassion for Claudia could help turn her against Aaravos, he could see that kindness, even toward enemies, is a strength.
Ezran’s path to redemption isn’t just about defeating Aaravos-it’s about understanding the power of forgiveness, collaboration, and the wisdom his allies can offer. The journey will show that fury, while a natural response to betrayal and pain, cannot lead to lasting peace or justice.

    • @AngelesLunamoth
      @AngelesLunamoth  Месяц назад +1

I really appreciate your take on this and while I definitely see what you’re saying, I wouldn’t consider Ezran to be a character that needs to be redeemed, per se. He is actually incredibly compassionate and forgiving already. While those traits are generally desirable, I do think there needs to be a balance and his fury and anger are that balance.
While we usually label fury as a negative emotion, it can actually be productive.
If Ezran’s kingdom is threatened (like it is right now) anger is actually justified. Anger will ensure that he does what he needs to do to protect what he cares for and what is left of it. I do acknowledge that fury is not a sustainable fuel but I think Ezran’s character actually needs this.
Just like anger is not always the answer, neither is blind forgiveness.
Even if Callum and Rayla explain themselves to Ezran, I don’t think their burdens are his to carry. They are NOT entitled to Ezran’s understanding. In fact, I would argue that it is them who need to be more considerate of the burdens that HE carries.
But yeah, all in all, I think this development is actually really healthy for him. Ezran already understands the power of forgiveness and collaboration. He needs to learn how assert and protect himself and his kingdom. Perhaps his anger could lead him to make a mistake but that would still be a valuable lesson.

I hope that there are some consequences for freeeing runaan, but i dont think its what people think. Harrow told the boys not to think in revenge and hate. That brought up their whole situation. Also even thought runaan was the one who killed harrow, he is imprisoned by dark magic. Something everyone in the group is against and tries to clean up. Sure ezran never showed such a hate to it as rayla callum and soren, but he is a human and grew up with the thought that it was nessecary to protect his kingdom. Callum also only uses it to protect if nothing else works. But runaan never got a trail or a good punishment. Also it was raylas choice who to safe. I dont think ezran likes it, but i also think he wont really mind. So long as runaan accept his punishment like viren did. But rayla and runaan try to escape and than it goes down hill.

Yet we have Runaan who spent what was probably close to 3 years in a true version of Hades & Kid Ghandi has nothing but hate for him. Runaan killing Harrow was wrong but he was just following orders.

I am really looking forward to seeing Claudia’s story. I still have hope that she can be saved. I have heard from someone who saw the first episode at Comic Con that there is a scene where Soren tells Ezran and the others what happened, but he doesn’t mention Viren’s sacrifice. Since we didn’t see what Viren’s final words to Soren were, I’m guessing that he specifically asked Soren not to tell anyone about his sacrifice. Viren knows that he doesn’t deserve to be remembered as a selfless hero, which I feel is a beautiful end to his arc given how obsessed he was with being seen as an important figure in history.
But I could see a situation where Claudia gets to the In Between, and is confused as to why she can’t find Viren. And Soren then decides to break his promise by telling Claudia what happened. Terry might have told Soren earlier that Claudia came to Katolis hoping Viren would show her the right path. So Soren telling Claudia that Viren chose to sacrifice himself to save everyone, and that he was so sorry for what he had put his children through, might inspire her to do the right thing and sacrifice herself to save everyone as a way of honoring her fathers memory.

Team Zym could ask Claudia with armor piercing questions that could challenge her justifications, loyalty, and understanding of the consequences of her actions. Here are some that could cut through her defenses:
"Do you really believe that everything Aaravos has done is for the good of anyone besides himself?"
This question forces Claudia to confront the idea that Aaravos may be using her and her father for his own goals, not for any noble purpose.
"Would your father be proud of the path you've chosen if he could see it clearly?"
This question may force her to reflect on whether her actions are what her father, as she once knew him, would genuinely want for her.
"How many lives are you willing to sacrifice for Aaravos's vision?"
This question might make her think critically about the cost of her alliance with Aaravos and whether it's worth the lives lost.
"Have you ever wondered how your mother would feel about the choices you've made?"
This could touch a deeply personal chord, making her consider the potential disappointment of someone she once cared about.
"What happens if Aaravos wins? Where does that leave you and the rest of humanity?"
This question pushes her to think about the long-term impact of Aaravos's plans, both for herself and her people.
"Why do you think Callum and others you cared about walked away from this path?"
This question might help her consider why her friends and loved ones chose a different path and whether they saw something she missed.
"Can you truly live with yourself if Aaravos destroys everything you once fought to protect?"
This question goes to the heart of her morals, challenging whether her loyalty to Aaravos is worth betraying her past values.
"What will you do if Aaravos betrays you once he no longer needs your help?"
This asks her to face the possibility of her being expendable to Aaravos and what that would mean for her future.
"When did you stop believing that humans and elves could coexist peacefully?"
This question could make her remember a time before Aaravos's influence, possibly rekindling her belief in harmony between the races.
"If your brother Soren, who loves you deeply, could see who you've become, do you think he'd recognize the sister he once looked up to?"
This question would force her to reflect on her relationship with her brother and whether she’s proud of what she’s become.
These questions could prompt Claudia to reexamine her choices, possibly causing her to question her loyalty to Aaravos and reevaluate the impact of her actions on those she cares about.

Good evening @, That’s a great point! I think Viren didn’t tell Soren the truth about how he broke their family apart because he didn’t want to burden him with such a selfish confession. Ironically, that truth could have been useful for Claudia to hear and might have given her a chance to rethink her choices. Now that Aaravos is out, do you think Team Zym might use the Living History Moon Spell to recreate that confession and confront Claudia with it? It could be a pivotal moment for her redemption-or her downfall.
