The delta Pro 3D printer is simple, elegant, powerful, and robust created for the enthusiast and professional alike. It is easy to use with auto bed leveling, heated plate, and WiFi built in and can be assembled in 30 minutes or less. It is built with reliability in mind using quality Japanese and German components, machined effector plate, magnetic effector arms, and machined hot end. Accuracy is key with its glass plate, build volume, and robust main board. The delta Pro 3D printer stands in a Class of its own for the makers who want stunning quality, speed, and ease of use.
Auto bed level: no longer will you have to chase the perfect bed level using hex keys & feeler gauges. The new auto bed leveling system allows you to spend less time getting that perfect print started
Extra large build volume: the extra large, 270 x 300 mm build volume lets you make full prints of models that would otherwise need to be printed separately and assembled afterward
All metal construction: all structural parts and parts related to printing are constructed with metal, fitting together with no room for unwanted movement or warping from external forces
Auto pid tuning: the ambient temperature of your environment affects your print. Maintain consistent temperatures during printing by taking advantage of built in pid tuning
Fully assembled quiet performance: the delta pro ships fully assembled & ready to print out of the box, so you can spend more time printing & less time prepping. The printer operates at less than 50Db

Hey if you used Cura to print the things in the video is there any way you could link your cura profile for download?. Or at least list the settings. I plan on getting this machine soon and would like to have the correct profile settings for it. I cant find it any where and I at least know your setup works.

the minimal time difference between the 100mm/s and 150mm/s is because on small prints and or prints with a lot corners, acceleration and jerk is what makes the difference. Also just selecting 150mm/s speed doesn't mean that all parts are printed at that speed. The slicer will auto assign different speeds to walls, infill, etc based on the "print speed" you choose

Amazing print quality for out of the box. The mag balls are a nice upgrade. Deltas are amazing. However, it is very expensive.

I enjoyed your review, but when you inspected the calibration cube, you only looked at the surface quality. I was hoping you would measure it to determine the printer's dimensional accuracy. Another good test would be to print several calibration cubes simultaneously, one in the center and others midway and near the perimeter, to see if the dimensional accuracy varies based on bed position.

When I saw that sensor I got one of those "Oh Dear" feelings as I have not seen one of those types of sensor work yet so I was surprised when I saw that this one got it right Kudos to Monoprice!
The out of the box quality of the prints is very very good and I'm sure a bit of tinkering with the slicer settings will reveal even more wonderful prints.
I like this!!!!!!!!!!!! and then I saw the price and got that "Oh Dear" feeling

I own this printer, solid prints, couple issues. Wish the build volume was bigger, the extruder is meh, bed adhesion is hard to get, I use hairspray to be safe to prevent layer shifts. It does go on sale often. I got mine for 700 CAD. The WiFi printing does not work at all. It isn't exactly quiet as it can be. Finally there is NO CURA profile and terrible software support from monoprice. I had to pull a profile from ATOM which is the company that designed this printer for Monoprice. No information on stepper drivers or the stepper motors so I can't even upgrade the drivers properly. Also expect the quality to deteriorate over time. Just wear I'm assuming. The filament detect doesn't work. Pteg is a nightmare.

    • @ThujanK
      @ThujanK 4 года назад

Also the long bowden tube sucks if your filament breaks inside when it sits at a weird angle. I wish the extruder was a real floating design.

I have 2 of these, one for over a year. Other than the wires wearing out by the hot-end I have had no other issues once the leveling was resolved. You should try printing my spool spinner designed for this printer specifically using 3D printed bearings. Although for now only for Hatchbox size. Free on thingiverse 👍

Thanks for a solid review! Please follow up when you get to looking at the parts cooling; I'm thinking that changing to Papst fans would alleviate the noise issue, and maybe a 3D printed part can direct the air better than the stock holder? Would require some experimenting, as there's probably not a usable part for this on sites like Thingiverse... I'm thinking of buying a new 3D printer and since I own both a cartesian and a delta, I'm going to go with a delta. CoreXY and its belt tensioning issues are not for me - and right now, resin is not for me (but maybe in the future). And powder is obviously way too expensive.

Considering the price you would think that they would of sorted the part cooling.
It's a simple fix but not one you would expect at that price point.
Great video, solid review. Keep up the good work.

question: This machine just went on sale for 449.99 (62% off the original 1,199.99!), for this price would you recommend it? I am a beginner and would likely only be using PLA. Things I would be building are mechanical toys like automata and puppets.
