    Thanks RUclips for the notification!! Would have loved to have joined you live Thomas, unfortunately never got the notification until after it was all over. Love what you do! Hopefully I'll be able to join on the next Live video. As a suggestion, maybe you could make announcements on Patreon as to when you will be going live, Patreon is way more consistent on giving notifications.

    I am pretty sure that you don´t loose any print area because of the round heatbed. The nozzle of a delta printer cannot mechanically/physically reach the corners of the triangle, right?

    Monoprice and Delta Pro should pay you to do their support videos. We have purchased a new Delta Pro as our first 3d printer and the setup experience has been less than desirable to say the least. Thank you for this video.

    it seems like it is using the closed source chinese 3d printer controller board called Lerdge. it has terrible programming and lots of issues. for instance, thermal runaway protection doesn't work correctly for the heated bed.

    What a pity I've missed the live stream! What a massive delta. The positioning of the extruder makes sense. One of my delta printers also uses the touchprobe that would normallly come with the printer. And it really works well. Mhhh, I'd really love to test that beast! I love delta printers.

      Have a look at the Monoprice Mini Delta. It's a very nice machine for the price ($160US) and it has quality that is quite spectacular. I reviewed it over a year ago, and they have been making improvements to it since then, so it's even better now!

    Hi Thomas. Would you recommend this printer for accurate prints (in terms of dimensions and consistency)? I already own an E3D v6 + titan, maybe this isn't the best choice then? I'm printing mainly PETG and TPU, but also have a few rolls of Nylon, POM, ABS.

    I am honestly curious why you call it a pla only machine. I assumed it had no heated bed but I see it does have a heated bed. it should have no problem with PLA PVA TPU PETG NYLON etc.. and if the heat bed can reach in excess of 110c it can do ABS and maybe Polycarbonate if you can get the bed hot enough (really need 130+ for that) no problem as well. Basically if the bed can get hot enough it can print pretty much anything that 99.9% of consumers will ever use ?? I do think its a bit on the expensive side though. it is a beautiful machine and I do love the monoprice UI !! so much nicer than most!

    • @nerys71
      @nerys71 5 лет назад

      @Jose Castillo the PTFE tube can never cause damage to the hot end the worst they can do is jam it up if it melts I regularly run my printers at 250 C all the way up to 260 C and have no problems yes this does cook the PTFE tube I can usually get about 1500 hours maybe 2000 hours with intermittent high temperature running before I cook the end of the PTFE tube but I don't care I consider the PTFE tube to be a consumable so having to replace it is a normal thing like replacing your brake pads it cost a dollar to replace and you can usually sniff the end off 2 or 3 times before you get too short and have to replace the entire tube the reason I like PTFE lined hot ends is because they are dead simple and insanely reliable because there's no brakes As Long as That Joint between the PTFE tube in the nozzle is solid it pretty much can't fail
      Having to replace a $1 tube every year to is it totally acceptable consequence for me for the Simplicity in the reliability of it

    Hi, first of all thanks for your videos and the work you are putting into this channel. You helped me many times! I have just one point for the upcoming review. It would be really nice if you could take a closer look on the Hotend temperature. There are some Filaments (some PETG´s) that need more temp then 260°C. So is it possible to set in the Firmware (or via the display) a higher max temp, for sure with the all metal Hotend? And how does it behaves at the max Hotend temp regarding the high print speeds? Does it keep the temperature stable…? Same for the heated bed. I love Deltas and already have some. Atom3d and for sure Monoprice are doing a good job here. I hope this might be a good point for you to take a look at. Thanks and have a nice day :-)

    Not even close to worth the price tag. Ultibots D300VS Plus kit for $1K is much better, duet wifi, e3d titan aero, larger build volume, fsr mesh bed leveling, carbon fiber arms, etc, etc. the only thing the MP has over the Ultibots is that its prebuilt.
    Still appreciate you showing it off though. 👍🏻
