I literally just bought this exact monitor yesterday, to compliment my ASUS VG259QM 240hz 1080p for games/media where I want a better picture over 200+ frames. I have a very low light room setup and it came with a 100 euro discount, so I'd say I'm happy. Other than changing the brightness around, I just set the colour space to sRGB and haven't felt like I needed to do anything else to tweak it, looks pretty damn good.
@@mzchzelger8912 Hey man, I ended up returning mine as in some grey and white scenes I noticed a yellowish tint on the bottom half and a redish tint on the top half of the screen - this is I believe just a backlight placement issue and is visible on a lot of new monitors apparently? But it was a sort of 'once you notice it' problem for me, even though the people in the shop didn't see a problem. Anyway long story short I ended up trading in for an lg 27gpb50 - which doesn't have the tint problem but definitely isn't as sharp as the ASUS, but other than that is a solid monitor all around. Maybe I got unlucky on the ASUS panel, if that's the case I'd still recommend it over the LG, good luck on the gamble!
Also after your aoc monitor review you did for me I’ve decided to order myself a new screen, I got the AW2521HF, is this good. I’ve heard it’s one of the best 🤔
You know.. I wish they'd focus more on making the prices here in Europe cheaper instead of making more generic models like this. Tryna get my hands on a good 1440p 144Hz 27" monitor for my 3060Ti is like trying to dig into a gold mine The M27Q is a goddamn 900Bosnian marks here which isn't even close to being budget. Even a decent 1080p monitor here is over 500 in our currency -_-
Oh yes! I feel you. Here the M27Q X is over 200k in our currency. And 100k is the minimum living mothly wage that's the official data for a family of 4 and doesn't account for rent. Our yearly inflation is projected to be around 90% for the next month. So we can certainly expect all prices to be much higher. Good times.
@@the-patient-987 I swear they're inflating on purpose to control us. It is just a damn monitor man cmon 😭😭😭😭 But screw that when you can't even get food normally these days.
The only problem with this monitor is display port v 1.2, which is not able to work at its frequency and screen resolution. The monitor simply outputs bands both at 170 Hz and even at 120.
In order to have 400 nits, you have an option in menu, that says max brightnes, no need to use HDR, make some reserches before you make review, cos you are missleading peaple now.
No matter what I just got this monitor and comparing it to my hp 60hz monitor it's 1000x better for my pc atleast I still use the 60hz to have my ps5 up at the same time but the picture quality on this monitor blows my hp out the water but that's understandable considering the hp monitor wasn't really meant for gaming tho it still got the job done
But there are some things you can do on your monitor and pc side to make it a little better games that are naturally bright and don't have dark shadows look amazing but dark scary games are a no go like tarkov factory is a big problem

ugh, another generic 27" 1440p monitor... at this point i give up on the monitor market as there is nothing good available at this time (good= 23.8" 240Hz+ QD-OLED at 1440p or even higher res). Still appreciate the review tho 👌
No good available 1440p options in the market? Lmao you're nuts 1. Why the hell do you need a QLED 24 inch 1440p 240hz display, OR EVEN HIGHER RES, that's just a waste of money unless you're standing 20cm from the display, lol 27 inches is the sweet spot for 1440p... 2. And I'm 200% sure if I put you in front of two completely different monitors you couldn't even tell the difference between the two
Is this monitor worth buying for £270 on a deal? I can't seem to find more reviews for the specific model number of XB273UN which is on sale.
In the OSD you need to enable full brightness in order to get that 400 NITS.
400 work only with HDR content
@@rpnXN no the max brightness setting increases SDR to 360 nits as well. rtings has it at 441 nits in HDR

What about the response time across the refresh rate, at 60hz for example for adaptive sync use?
