Wonderful version and from my all time favourite S.Dan album Gaucho. Fantastic.
Thank You So Much Dee John! Gaucho is another great album and this tune is another Steely Dan gem. We love performing it and we all appreciate the kind remark!
@@goodstuff8238 😄😄😄😃😃
Holey moley !!
Hi Alan! Thank You for that comment! Much appreciated!
Sounds neat. You guys were on fire!😎
Thank You So Much Christian! So nice of you to be there. That's your photo on the cover! We love you! 🥰
How good is this..👊
Glad you liked it.....it is a great Steely Dan tune from the amazing Gaucho album.
I used the instrumental intro from this song on my very first phone answering machine in the early '80s. I was determined to make everyone love it as much as I did. And I've always wondered if there's a Steely Dan tribute band out there somewhere named Perfection and Grace.
Ha! That's a great way of getting people to know and listen to great music Andy!
LOVE STEELY DAN !!!!!!!
Thank You for the comment Suzanne! We love them too!
Groove! 🥁🍾❤️
Thank You Mike! Much Appreciated from All of us!
Classic Dan.
Indeed Jeff! The Gaucho album, as all of their albums, was another great record. Thanks So Much for commenting!
@@goodstuff8238 absolutely. The only time that I was close to seeing them was in 2003 in Toronto, but the electrical blackout cancelled the show. Love Steely Dan.
Wow! So sorry to hear that Jeff. They do put on a great show. They've been touring quite a bit lately so maybe they might make it up to where you are, or close at least. Their recordings are legend though. @@jeffbrown3559
Nicely done!
Thank You So Much for the comment Glenn! Much appreciated by the band!
Love everything you do!
Gee!...Thank You So Very Much! We all truly appreciate the love and the support!
Y'all need to stop it. You're DAMN GOOD!!!!
Thank You Very Much Greg! We all appreciate the comment!
The band does an admirable job on this one. Killer guitar. The people dancing are completely oblivious to the fact that this was Steely Dan's love song to heroin.
Thank You So Much Eric! Truly Appreciate the comment! It is a great tune from SD!
Thats my buddy Don on the axe
These guys are good. Do you ever get to Chicago area?
Hi Douglas! Thank You for the nice compliment. We haven't been out that far yet. We are from NJ and we have been to Delaware and Maryland. We did get a few offers to come to Chicago and Detroit from a few venues, but logistically it wasn't possible, but we would love to do a little bit of travelling at some point. Thanks again for the comment!
Nice job. Woulda used an OD pedal instead
Hey Thanks Man! Appreciate the comment!
nice job. one little critique bass player is missing the crucial note F# in chuck raineys bassline every other line in the verse.
Hi Sam! Ha! You are a true Steely Dan listener! You know Sam, we do try to stay pretty close to the record and we do sometimes take some liberties, but rest assured that we will be listening to those verses again! I actually think it was Walter Becker who played bass on that track. Thank You So Much for the comment! We all really appreciate it! Please check out our website: goodstuffband.net/
@@goodstuff8238 well its only because im the bass player for FM a steely dan tribute on long island! rock on guys and gals!
@@sampowellmusic Very Cool Sam! Nice meeting a fellow Steely Dan tribute band member!
