Just wondering what connects to the headers? I see some type of programmer there but hard to make out. Apologies if that's documented somewhere else and I missed it.
The programmer will depend on what you're programming. In my case I'm programming an ATTiny1606 which uses UPDI for programming. There are a couple different options that I've used for UPDI programming. One is an Arduino Nano programmed with jtag2updi (github.com/SpenceKonde/jtag2updi). I then wire up ground, power, and the UPDI pin (digital pin 6 on the Nano) to the adapter as needed. Another option is SerialUPDI in which the programmer is just a USB-to-Serial adapter with a diode between TX and RX which you can read up on here: github.com/SpenceKonde/AVR-Guidance/blob/master/UPDI/jtag2updi.md If you are programming one of my blade controllers I have a video covering how to setup the programming environment and how to use both SerialUPDI and jtag2updi with this adapter. It's currently unlisted as I have a few more videos in the series I need to put together, but it is available if you want to watch it here: ruclips.net/video/AhdHEon9h7o/видео.html
Staying tuned . . . looking forward to the final build video. Keep up the good work!
Have you heard of tag connect? Always awesome to see custom tooling regardless! (Though a tag connect would require a hardware change)
