What luxury designer items would you NEVER buy and on which items have you changed your mind and why? I'd love to know your thoughts and your reasonings! ❤💕
Great video! I agree with everything except the exotics. Funny you have issues with exotics and rabbit's foot charms but not with butterfly wing earrings. LOL
Hello, Maggie. Aww I love the rodeo bag charm, but I would not either spend that money for it. Exotic leathers? No for me too. Thanks for the share, I enjoyed the video.❤️
Rodeo charm are very coveted and popular for Hermes lovers, for sure! Now, if they had a dog charm, specifically poodle charms, I may change my mind! hahaha! Thanks for sharing your picks and watching this video Sabina! ❤
I thought about the Hermes rodeo, but I think my interest for them was due to social media. I realized this in a big way when I was in Hawaii at the Jurassic park ranch where they were selling the horse bag charms similar to Hermes horse charm. I think the rarity, social media hype and the expensive Hermes cost may influence some people's desire to own them. Thanks for watching and letting me know of your thoughts! ❤💕
I agree with you on the bag charms. I also have kids and they remind me too much of their charms. I also wouldn't get designer luggage, I no longer buy costume jewelry from Chanel, and designer swimsuits.
You noticed the similarities with bag charms that kids have on their backpacks too!? ☺ I always think that especially when someone has more than one bag charm on their bag. Not buying costume Chanel jewelry - good point! ❤💕
I said i would never buy designer shoes too but learned to appreciate them eventually. I try and hunt them down on the preloved market in close to brand new condition 💕💕
Smart! I find that the problem with trying to hunt down luxury shoes is the sizing - especially online - there can be slight variation in fit even with the same sizing. Thanks for watching Dani! ❤️
Interesting video ! As I always say never say never 🤣. I never thought I would ever buy designer bags 20 years ago but here we are !! Was fun to watch !!
hi Maggie! i enjoyed this video again. i do have my own take on designer brand stuff like NO for exotics, too much logo RTW, cloth designer bags, etc...
Hi! Yup, absolute no for exotics for me too - my sister loves them, but they are definitely not easy to take care of (for the most part), and many of them, I don't like the thought of touching skin skin or alligator skin. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! ❤
I was just thinking about doing this same topic! Things I said I would never buy but did. 😝 I’ll share my items soon! One thing though I can’t seem to pull the trigger on anymore is designer shoes. I did have a few when I was younger and wearing heels daily back in Korea but now it seems like so much money to spend on shoes. A belt on the other hand I can see the value because I hardly wear belts so I only need one for when I do wear them which is why I got the Kelly belt as it’s adjustable. Great video Maggie! 🥰🥰🥰
Can't wait to see your video! I can't wear heels either and with my lifestyle, I rarely need to wear heels - but I love the look of the Chanel classic ballet flats. Does your Kelly belt stay put or does it shift (I though GPS said his Kelly belt doesn't stay stationary.....). I don't know I'd pay full retail price for an Hermes belt, but I'm looking more into buying it. Thanks for watching Kim! ❤💕
@@MyfavoritesWithMaggie The belt will shift from time to time. Like if I have it tight and then sit and move my body around sitting it will adjust itself to fit bigger so when I stand it will be looser. It never happens when I am just standing. I’ve learned how to pull both sides to make it tight again without taking it off so I’m ok with it but I can see how it would annoy some people. Also the turnlock will turn to the “unlocked” position quite easily as I work at the kitchen counters alot and the counter edge is right where the belt is. But it doesn’t pop open even with its turned, so again, it doesn’t bother me. I should do a review on the belt. Thanks for the idea Maggie! 😂😂😂
@@kklvoescc definitely do a review please! I saw your unboxing and thought it was great, then I happened to see GPS's video on it. I think it's a very popular style at Hermes since it's a recognizable design for that house. Thanks Kim! Enjoy a wonderful Father's day with your husband and kids! ❤
I thought I was being practical before when I said that the only luxury item that I would ever buy is a Rolex watch and NO to luxury bags but I ended up buying luxury bags first before I even bought my Rolex 😁.
@@MyfavoritesWithMaggie Slippery slope indeed! And what was I thinking, if I'm wearing a Rolex but with a contemporary bag, people will never look at my Rolex as real haha
😂😂😂. OMG, how hard I've fallen! What I cut out of this video is what my mom used to say whenever she saw anyone who spent luxury money on fashion items (mainly to discourage us from ever wanting to spend money since we were so poor I think). She used to say (this is a loose translation of the Korean saying): "You'll fall into shit pit when you try to be fancy/fashionable". hahaha! She used to say that to us all the time when we were growing up! 😂 That said, I think my upbringing helped me be frugal and save money as I navigated through life. ☺

HMMM,,,, very observant and good point! All I can say is "the heart wants what it wants". 😂😂😉
The funny voices in this video is making me laugh out loud 🤣
I’m so glad you found it funny and entertaining! ❤️💕

The five you said you’d now buy is exactly like my list! :) I do love Hermes rodeos though, maybe because they’re also so hard to get.
