I don't care what anybody thinks of this show, it's great! The fact that this show made me feel bad for Todd Ingram alone is grounds for how good it is. I know that alone shouldn't be grounds for judging it as good, it's just that in the books and movie he's a massive dick, but here I can't help but feel for the poor guy.
In the graphic novels, Wallace was already best buds with Scott when Envy brutally dumped him, and ever since then Wallace had a lot of resentment for her because of it. So in my headcannon, I think Wallace seduced and whisked Todd away from Envy as some petty little payback for Scott.
Mine is Roxy. It was definitely a good writing decision that she faced Ramona first because Ramona hurt her clearly the most. Maybe it's too much head canon but I think Ramona was Roxy's first girlfriend and her coming out so she was still unsure about herself. So after Ramona left her she scarred Roxy emotionally so she became bitter. After her fight with Ramona in Takes Off (in the German dub at least) she said that she was unsure when the last time was when she just hung out with girls. This also showed Ramona how much she messed up in her relationships (at least with Roxy). I really like how Takes Off showed a sweeter side of Roxy after her bitterness faded a bit away with her singing the Hamster Song and cheering Todd up to become a vegan again in the epilogue of the show. But development- and Screentime-wise Matthew, Todd and Gideon/Gordon takes the cake of the main evil exes.

Even in the 2000s, there still were enough in the way of practical effects for Todd Ingram to eat something that looked like a non-vegan product that actually was vegan. Even if there weren’t a wide variety of meat substitutes, tofu still existed then and a famous rock star had more access to vegan products than the average Joe in the 2000s. Besides, knowing Todd Ingram, he likely would have written it into his contract that he would not be doing any acting scenes involving non-vegan products. The Vegan Police and Vegan Academy could have worked with the film’s directors and producers (in the anime) to ensure veganage (the word used by Todd Ingram) was upheld. Both of those groups would have definitely wanted to do everything in their power to ensure more ultra vegans were put into the world.

I know he gave up being a vegan since he became infatuated with Wallace Wells, but wouldn’t he have risked losing them earlier if the Director and Screenwriter had told Todd to eat and drink the things that Scott liked, In Script Wise, that Todd could’ve taken a reluctant risk at doing unless he’d could have at least tried making a good old On One Condition-Deal with the Filmmakers and Film Crew how they could’ve added some good ol' Beyond/Impossible Meat a.k.a Plant Based Fake Meat and Plant Based Fake Dairy Alternatives to go with that Fictional Scott Pilgrim True Story film script such as adding some Vegan Pizza, some Beyond/Impossible Burgers, Almond Milks, Oat Milks, or whatever Meat and Dairy Alternatives etc that could’ve also helped out Todd to stay in touch with both his Veganity and his acting career in Canon Hindsight after all?… but that wouldn’t really matter anymore since he was always bound to lose his Vegan Powers as he has in every universe of the Scott Pilgrim multiverse time and time again anyway.
There’s a ton of substitutes that can be made/used from vegan products. Not as much in the 2000’s as there is now, but there’s enough for Todd to maintain vegan code.
@@amandadane868 I’m still trying to figure out if the Anime Continuity of Scott Pilgrim is actually supposed to take place in this show’s contemporary 2023 canon year, the Movie Continuity’s contemporary 2010 canon year, or the Graphic Novel Continuity’s contemporary 2004 canon year🧐⏰📆, because I read that the Anime Adaptation is supposed to both a Sequel to the Graphic Novel Saga📚 and a Remake of the Cult Hit Film itself🎦, so… is the Anime supposed to taking place within the contemporary 2000's, the contemporary 2010's, or the contemporary 2020's itself, because I have seen some 2000’s stuff in the Anime that we don’t even have in this day and age anymore, as of 11-29-2023 of this reply of course, such as Flip Phones, Video Rental Stores, and Netflix DVDs (⏳since Netflix had just recently retired the DVD Rental Online Delivery and moved on to the Streaming Business these days⌛️), which is why I can’t seem to tell anymore if the Scott Pilgrim Anime is supposed to be taking place in the 2000's, the 2010's, or the 2020's canon wise, because of course the Fake Meat and Dairy Alternatives weren’t as common in the 2000's back then as they’ve become since the mid 2010's, or was it the late 2010's? @@HuskyLemur Based off the lack of cell phones and the fact that the Netflix website has the option to order videos to be sent via delivery, it’s safe to say that the present day of the anime takes place in the 2000’s, while Old Scott is from the 2010s and even Older Scott is from the 2010s.
Even in the 2000s, there still were enough in the way of practical effects for Todd Ingram to eat something that looked like a non-vegan product that actually was vegan. Even if there weren’t a wide variety of meat substitutes, tofu still existed then and a famous rock star had more access to vegan products than the average Joe in the 2000s. Besides, knowing Todd Ingram, he likely would have written it into his contract that he would not be doing any acting scenes involving non-vegan products. The Vegan Police and Vegan Academy could have worked with the film’s directors and producers (in the anime) to ensure veganage (the word used by Todd Ingram) was upheld. Both of those groups would have definitely wanted to do everything in their power to ensure more ultra vegans were put into the world.
Most of what's eaten in movies isn't real. Actors just fake-bite things, since there are likely to be various shots, the food will go bad, so it's better to have a fake prop

I know the Main Series-Rick & Morty have traveled to countless realities across the multiverse over the years, and they too have also slipped into their Multiversal Counterparts’ places to replace their corpses to stay in their corpses’ other dimensional homes, neither any of the corpses of those Multiversal Ricks & Mortys have ever once affected the timeline memories of the Main Rick & Morty since their memories remained the same and intact due to those Rick and Morty Season opener and finale episodes always keeping an eidetic memory of that show’s whole continuity if not so perfectly that is.
In hindsight to how I still think this Scott Pilgrim Anime should’ve started or in foresight to where I also still think where the Scott Pilgrim Anime should go next in a 2nd season revival or anime sequel series: I still think that this Scott Pilgrim Anime Story should’ve explored the Multiverse Concept of Infinite Scotts & Ramonas to be convinced visually that Future Scott & Ramona literally aren’t Scott & Ramona’s canon future selves from their Main Universe’s past, present, and future time streams after all, or if in the next season or anime sequel series that they could still meet infinite versions of themselves anyway.
Because I for still hated how Even Older Scott didn’t just fuse with the Main Scott just like how Even Older Ramona fused with the Main Ramona too, as a touching Zathura Movie Reference to the Future Brothers making peace with their past selves by fusing with them too, I mean… why didn’t Bryan Lee O'Malley and/or BenDavid Grabinski ever write EOS into fusing with Main Scott like EOR did with Main Ramona instead of just sending a now even lonelier EOS back into his time remaining the F🤬 Same?
