I had my dad drive me to this concert when I was 15. The Christian Coalition showed up to protest and were blocking my dad's car in the middle of the street, yelling that everyone was going to hell. My dad yelled back at them to get the HELL out of his way lol.
L7 was the opening band for this show. I wish someone had footage of L7's set, because I was there for them.
Now, it would be feminists protesting him over BS and lies.
Ginger Fish is a fucking machine. Such a bummer he never got the props he was due in this band.
Man, incredible quality, especially the audio for those days. ACS was probably my favourite tour ever. Also, a dude called Sean Beaven who worked as an audio engineer on the Antichrist Superstar album was the live sound engineer for this tour, hence why their live sound was great during that tour.
I don't know he was the live sound engineer too. No wonder they sounded so amazing during this tour.
What an epic performance of man that your fear . What a beautiful song . So many memories brought back . Me and my best friend were there . Manson was his favorite. He’s been dead since 2008 . I miss him . RIP David .
When all of your wishes are granted , all of your dreams will be destroyed .
What happened to your friend?
RiP
Back when crowds had life. People used to go to these things and let loose. Now, everyone is worried about looking stupid on someone’s camera phone. Those experiences were priceless.
People haven't been to concerts in a long time now. They'll be letting loose soon once the tour cycle starts. Go check out the Madball NYC park concert they had about a month or two ago. It was bonkers
Get out more lmao it's not like that at all. Life is still fun, actually more fun than back then
@@idontcare2851 how old are you?
Truly. Priceless.
Zoomers aye lol
This was THE BEST Marilyn Manson era.........FUCKING AWESOME \M/
Back when Manson was heavy. Thank you for this! I can appreciate his style change as I get older, but his heavy stuff will always be amazing!
Still is ina. Diff way
Eat me, drink me...I can't listen to. It was his emo excursion.
@@psychedelicfright85goth*
Yeah he was in late 20s now he's in his mid 50s what you expect from him he is older now.
@colddarkness1798 heart shaped glasses? That's not goth.
I found this great band in’96, and they definitely saved my life and soul. This sounds are rooted in my soul so deeply.. miss you Zim Zum. Love this member.

Angel with ….not Angle 😅
I was there. 16 years old. So awesome that someone recorded this because I can barely remember it. Thank you for uploading!
I was in my 20’s and was there for this tour. Goddamn those were outstanding shows🤘🤘🤘
how can u barely remember thjis? u were 16!!!!
Omg I’ve looked for this for years. I was 18, my 2nd concert.was amazing.
I was 14 and it was my third concert :D
@@rolandog4282 dang lol. In the cnn special about this show, I can see me in this audience. It’s so awesome. So many memories from this video too.
@@ampphotos That's awesome! I saw him a few months after this. Dead To The World one of the greatest tours ever!
@@BlasphometicHermetic I’ve been to at least 60 concerts since and this will remain the best !
@@ampphotos Same here! NIN, Lords of Acid, KMFDM, Rob Zombie. The list goes on but still this tour is special in my heart. I'd give anything to find a recording of the show I went to! They even played Deformography which was very rare apparently.
my best friend said this show got cancelled and never happened, it's always weirded me out and now the full show it available. Love the spooky shit surrounding this tour and era. thanks for posting
I was at this show L 7 opened up . I stood in cold all day long to be in front.
I saw them in Jan 1997 when I was 16, it was awesome.
I saw them in 97 when I was 16 as well. It was pretty fucken amazing 🤘🏼
I saw them on the same tour and and was also 16! We were lucky to see him live during this time in his career as teenagers.
“Outside they are protesting that we need to go to church. So we made one in here!”
"we don't believe in a god who doesn't believe in us!"
There's even worse things to rebel against now.
Yeah when Manson was making us challenge all we were taught and helping us find our true identity, I don't think he wanted us surgically removing our tits and dicks.
I was there. Two friends had an extra ticket and decided to pick me up on a whim. I wasnt that much of a fan at all, but after this show I bought all of his albums and I have loved him ever since. This performance ruined so many other bands for me for the rest of my life--all the wretched pseudo-grunge and alt-pop that followed I percieved as pure trash. To be there for Man That You Fear was incredible.
Classic Manson at his best. Thank you for this!
Mansons voice is so unhinged, its the perfect amount of melodic singing combined with frenzied screams. His powerful and mighty voice murdered the cosmos that night, and all that was left was ash.
One of the best concerts of this Era recorded live. Great video, great audio and a fantastic concert like was all concerts on that Era. Amazing and all the Manson fans thank you a lot for posting this
Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch him live in that era. MM was so good back then in 1997-1998
Amazing proshot , i see Manson in Hartford CT 7/05/97 the Best day Of my life
Need a time machine. Also imagine this set with daisy on guitar
No, I refuse to. Long live Zim Zum
Omg I was there....what a great find! Thank you for uploading
This was my very first concert! Thanks for this! Brings back memories I've forgotten. 🖤
That PIT. Also, this footage is so good I'm tempted to believe it was recorded by a news organization for footage.
Now all my dreams are going to come true in life and I'm excited and I'm looking forward to it.
I haven't started going back to the gym yet but I think I will start working out again next month...I'm just starting to feel better from all the years of being on pills.
I was there, this show was insane... and the circus leading up to it locally with all the controversy was pretty wild!
Now calling someone fat publicity garners more controversy lol
@@psychedelicfright85or calling them their gender he or she 😅 world is weak now
Awesome upload! Not very often I come across a tape I haven't yet seen! Thank you!
This is pure gold!
the best tour ever!
Excelente material, época de oro ⚡ gracias
i love finding these hi8 videos they are so amazing
This is the show they went to on the CNN Deeper than Hell clip. IMO the most important piece of newsmedia ever done on MM.
Thanks for memories, I was at this show
perfect way to wake up. a post form the liberated tape archive
What do you mean the liberated tape archive??? Is there live cottage that was released ????
@@xvx6663 check out the Liberated Tape Archive youtube page. Lots of good concerts on there.
artistry at its finest
Great live show !
I was supposed to see MM in 1996, but he cancelled the damn show. He was at his peak, so it would've been AMAZING.
the reflecting god has to be the hardest hitting songs ever when the chorus comes in.. its like HOLY SHIT
amazing
Zim Zum was pretty good this show
Not a big MM fan but this is incredible
Thanks for sharing. Man that you fear live is fucking epic.
I'm smoking n chilling
I was at the show L7 opened up. I was like three people back from the front. It was life-changing.
marilyn manson voice is so strong in 1997
awesome show was there
Back when Manson gave a shit about his performance and didn't mumble his way through his set.
Killer show. Saw the same tour in Dallas
The best era of Manson.
Edit - F*ck! Watching them perform Antichrist Superstar in this era 👀Chills.🥶
I need Mister Superstar song here! The most underrated song
if I had a time machine…
Love this video. Sound is great, but the camera not moving sucks. Thought I had seen all from this tour. Thanks
It takes a while I heard it's good I'm 2 years clean almost.
Babe I'm here but I'm cleaning just so you know what's up.
The good old days of Antichrist Superstar
Dope show
We're all starts now
This is the true Golden Age of Grotesque
I love you.
I’ve seen an ungodly amount of bands . I mean you name it . The show I went to on this tour was probably the most violent lol . Rage in 97 was close . Slipknot in 98 might be the only thing to top it . Anyway … Manson then was relentless .
If you've seen Pantera that has to be up there the most violent
I was there \m/
Manson 🤘🤘
I gotta get ready for the gym
You forgot to name Madonna Wayne Gacy on the band credits. Great material, Manson at its best.
I would have loved to see Manson & L7 on the same bill
Here we are all over 25 years old😍👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Not while watching this😊
i was at this show and in dayton the day before
Top 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Do you still have the footage of SOiL at Ozzfest 2002 performing with Dave Williams from DP?
You have Incubus live or proshot in Europe Tour with Korn in 1997? Thank you for you channel!
Awesome as Always. Great era from MM.
By the way. Have you got anything of Incubus from 95 or 96? Greetings
I saw SOAD open for Incubus in 1996 in Missouri. My friend's aunt was their media manager in their early days. I have a promo concert on VHS from that era that he gave me. It was recorded prior to that concert so has to have been from 95 or 96. I need to dig it up and see about getting it ripped if nobody has done it.
@@yuibot5998 that would be awesome. And if you want to sell it let me know please. marceincubus@gmail.com
@@yuibot5998 i'm refering if you want to sell that VHS
oh to see lighters in the audience instead of fucking cell phones.
You are absolutely the man.
I'm going to get a hold of my bro Chris and see if he has some film with AHC for you.
Have an email?
you have manson recordings?
Go to our about page, you can find our email there. That will be great, Thanks!
Genial

Look at Pogo going for it lol
16:35 i like the bass. . can you feel it ?

Can someone please tell me what he says in 10:42?
He says “kill you fucker”
Honey I'm home
Oh shit! This is the one from the CNN special!
what the fuck is that set list?
audio quality is also fantastic
Hello! Do you trade the original DV Avi? I have another DV Manson recording!
I trade all kinds of digital media for bands in this realm hmu
@@mikeuyttenhove3212 what do you mean?
I was here. I had an out of body experience betwixt my thighs.
The dislikes are from not the beautiful people.
Oh no. The beautiful people are the people of the state. Those who will prop up the statue of so-called liberty.
State and statue. Examine the words.
@@AgeofReason He literally called all of his fans the beautiful people in the video. rofl.
@@BlakeBlackstone yeah I never knew why he did that lol
10:44 pretty sure he yells KILL THE CHICKEN 🤣
Very good the full show of the blue house in huston Also 👌🏻😍👌🏻😍👌🏻😍👌🏻😍👌🏻

16 throwing snowballs at the Christian protesters outside...getting pulled over after eating at Dennys with cops...awe my teenage years....thanks goodness I never got a tattoo
After seeing them 2 years prior with David bowie, nine inch nails..them throwing dildos into the crowd...never knew how lucky I was
Nowadays the same demographic would be looking at his lyrics for offensive words lol.
Without phones we had some kind of privacy to be not worry about if someone is filming you.
Now you don't know
