I think we usually don't apply putty in the exterior. The purpose of the putty is to provide a smooth even surface. Usually a smooth surface is desirable in the interior. And there is no point in applying putty in the exterior wall as make less contact with exterior wall.
Companies are purposefully promoting exterior putty.. People out of fear, will buy the product.

പ്ലാസ്റ്ററിങ് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ wall പ്രൈമർ അടിക്കുക, (exterior or interior )putty surface smooth ആക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി മാത്രം. അതിനു ശേഷം emulsion അടിക്കുക. വൈറ്റ് സിമന്റ് അടിക്കാം അത് സ്പ്രൈ ചെയ്ത് പിടിപ്പിക്കണം. First coat അടിച്ച ശേഷം അടുത്ത ദിവസം വെള്ളം അടിച്ചു പിടിപ്പിക്കണം work കൂടുതലാണ്. Simple method wall clean ചെയ്തു വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ച് complete wash ചെയ്തു പ്രൈമർ അടിച്ചു സ്മൂത്ത്‌ ആക്കാൻ putty പ്രയോഗവും നടത്തുക. ( putty വെറും ജിബ്സം പൗഡർ ആണ് )

Hi, since you got pergolas did you do the glass works for the pergolas and fixed rain water gutters for the top terrace before doing putty works?
Glass works are yet to be done. We have provided required slope to the top glass so that water can flow into the terrace where rainwater gutters are provided

Plastering കഴിഞ്ഞു, ഒരു coat waterproofing primer അടിച്ചു... Athinu ശേഷം ആദ്യ coat putty ഇട്ടു smooth ആക്കും.. Plastering quality അനുസരിച്ച് 1st coat അടിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ മിക്ക സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും നല്ല smoothness വരും... പിന്നെ അടുത്ത coat പുറകെ അടിക്കും.. അങ്ങനെ ആണ് ചെയതത് എന്നാണ് എന്റെ ഓര്‍മ!

Asian paints, berger, jotun etc are all good brands which provide quality primers for both interior and exterior.. Things which matters are our budget and specifications.. We took berger seal o prime because it is good for dampness and for our pocket too... You can make a decision accordingly!!
