Thanks. This one was actually built by my Dad. His current layout is a 00 gauge mainline with short 009 gauge feeder. I'm hoping to get some film of it to upload sometime this year.
I love the name Coed y Bleiddiau. In English it means "Forest of the Wolves". There is a house called Coed y Bleiddiau which sits right alongside the Ffestiniog Railway in north Wales a mile or so from the station at Tan y Bwlch. In my youth I used to be a postman in the area and I used to deliver mail to Coed y Bleiddiau. Your layout has captured the spirit of the area. Well done and thanks for sharing :-)
You're right, the layout was indeed named after that cottage next to the Ffestiniog... in fact that is actually the location where my current profile picture was taken! Thanks for your comment, I bet it must have been fun getting post to such a remote location!
@@FortheLoveofSteam Nice one! It was fun goin up to Coed y Bleiddiau. I had to leave the van at the end of the track and then a 20 minute round trip by foot to the house. It kept me honest. All the best :-)
Thanks! Dolgoch is a whitemetal kit by GEM running on an Arnold 0-6-0 chassis (with the centre axle removed). Talyllyn is a (now long discontinued and hard to find) whitenetal kit by Meridian on an Ibertren 0-4-0 chassis. Probably the best way of making them now would be the various conversion kits (Narrow Planet or various Shapeways offerings) on the Bachmann Skarloey and Rheneas models
Your so good at making models can’t wait to see your next layout

Where did you get/make the locos that look like Dolgoch and Tal-y-llyn? Love the layout btw!
