How would you rate the Cerapad Kin on the mousepad tier list without the stickiness negative factor?
thoughts on longevity like is it for life? What would you think of this compared to skypad 2.0 those are the ones im looking at atm?
Very interesting mousepad and great review as always
Pretty cool! Think I’ve found my endgame pad though with the Eve Mousepad, hitting some insane 1 taps in CS lately and love the feeling and size of that pad.
Hey haus was curious, Do you think this mouse pad will eat up mouse feet i love my sky pad but was wondering if this will do thee same.
Do both of the stores ship from the us? What about the tariffs?
I found micro adjustments feel stiff on it ?
the wuxiang 2 from tiger eSports is pretty unique if your looking for something different. it's a coated pad though which raises durability concerns long term
Recently went with the Tiger Esports Eba. Love it so far. Would love a stealth version of it in the near future.
@@CROOKS326 It's Esp Tiger, i highly doubt you'll get Stealth edition. They just release pads with new surfaces left and right and never look back.
I'm looking forward to your 1 month review of m42 😁
Great review as always!! But i thought for that price u can go for other options i reccomend u to try the wuxiang pro pad with corepad
Thanks! I don't think Esports Tiger pads are quite that high level!
Wuxiang pads does seem to get quite a bit of tracktion lately. I may grab one to see what all the hype is about.
Completely unrelated topic to the video: so I've been wondering if i should get the gpxs (96 dollars) or the hati s ace wireless (89). If you could tell me that would be awesome.
Can you give both the KIN and Artisan Zero a control rating 1-10? Doesn’t have to be super detailed, just curious. Probably not a fair comparison either.
Want to know this as well. I have a fx zero soft and I’m really thinking about getting this pad as end game. I hate cleaning cloth pads and the feeling of cloth on my arm/wrist
what are your thoughts on this. Is the Kin worth a look If I dont experience the wrist stickyness and already have the normal cerapad?
If you want a slower version of the OG, then yes!
I think the price is pretty competitive if you factor in that Cerapad would last forever since they're made of ceramic unlike cloth pads
So I have the original cerapad, do you think it would be worth it to get the kin as an upgrade if all I play is tac fps?
Definitely. The original is much more suited for tracking games such as apex, consider selling your original one in ebay and the likes.
U made this Day better. New Video. WOOOHOO!
Glad to hear it brother!
Great review as always. One question. Does it perform like the Skypad when it comes to scratchiness and dust / particles on the pad??
Thanks! Nowhere near to the same extent, dust has more of an issue on the OG cerapad, but I haven't had any dust/particle related trouble on the KIN. Obviously you will be more bothered by particles than on cloth pads, but less than on just bare glass it seems.
I have one - and no, it doesn’t. This isn’t really an issue with Cerapad
@@hausgaming thats great info!! Sadly 75$ shipping to Denmark(on top of original price) Will have to hope MaxGaming will stock the KIN in the future
@@hausgaming That is REALLY great to hear, because that is one of the major points that made me sell my SkyPad 2.0 XL.
Is my grip style suitable for this mousepad? my fingers touch the mousepad and i have a lot of palm contact on my mousepad. also is it faster than the hien?
No. Cordura or the Fnatic JET would be superior and last many many years.
I have the Odin Eclipse, would it be worth upgrading to the new LGG Saturn Pro or this Cerapad Kin? I play Valorant exclusively. If it would help, I use the Model O with G-Floats and have the Series One on preorder that defaults with G-Skates but I have a spare set of G-Float. Maybe this would help in recommending a combo for me.
Odin eclipse it's actually really good mousepad for Valorant. The Saturn will feel a bit faster just FYI
@@Jazzinplayer thanks for your input. If I stick with the Odin Eclipse, what mouse feet would you suggest for the best pairing for valorant?
how is the initial friction compared to the skypad?
The KIN has more static friction than Skypad 2.0, but still a low amount. The OG Cerapad has similar amount, maybe a tad more.
Great review but will stick with my artisan Hien or buy a Glass pad if needed. Price is steep for Cerapad but at least we are getting something new. The feet issue might be because of the 1st batch
Price is the same as SkyPad 3.0, actually less because they have some affiliate codes
Gotta factor in that they last forever unlike cloth pads
@@xblur17 That's nice
@@Reverae Wel, this is pretty new so we need to see about how long they will last and how good it is.
do you think it will Scratch mouse Feet? like in that case there was a huge difference between non coated and coated mousepads which they Eat the mouse feet in couple month or even weeks. what about these?
According to the official twitter account, it eats more of the mouse feet compared to traditional cloth pads but not as much as regular hardpads
if you wanted to get a fast consistent pad, regardless of price would you get a hien or a mpc 450 or hayate otsu?
All are very good options. For consistency, I'd probably pick the MPC450. Some people mention it can wear out in 6 months, but then you'd just buy a new one. It's EXTREMELY consistent for me once you get used to it. One of the best pads ever made. I've started liking the Otsu more and I've always liked the Hien, but if consistency is the most important thing I'd choose MPC. The pad feels the same even if you spill coffee on that shit and don't clean it lmao
@@hausgaming or would you recommend any of the hard pads like the sky pad or cerapad? Thanks for the reply
Honestly if you want pure consistency without any price restrictions then just go cerapad. That thing would last you ages considering its made of ceramic and is not made of cloth so it won't be affected by humidity or dirt or it wearing down. Though MPC is a lot more economical if you factor in newer better pads that are gonna be made in the future.
I panic a lot in apex when my shot do not land
Great review haus! Since the KIN is (at least in my opinion) the only viable option for Tac-FPS and tracking based games as well, this is most definitely worth looking into for me.
I've tried out the SkyPad 2.0 before and rather liked it, but it was still not controlled enough for me to get used to it in CSGO. Do you think that the KIN would fix that "issue"?
After enjoying the Superligdes a ton in CSGO and KovaaK's and ditching them for their incosistency (and the fact that the material used basically burns a hole in your pad), I'm actually gonna' try out the LGG glass skates for the first time soon (since they've finally become available on MaxGaming). If I for some reason do not like them on any of my variety of pads, I'll probably consider trying out the KIN :)
Yes, KIN would fix the issue you had with Skypad. At least it should, imo it's controlled enough for any game!
@@hausgaming Awesome, thanks for your input! Just realized that shipping to EU is $70 though, so I'll just hope they'll get a deal with MaxGaming :')
@@UncraftedPlays Yeah MaxGaming should get these at some point!
anyone know how this mousepad feels with a starlight 12 would it make a good combo
Depends on the skates used.
how do you compare the speed vs the skypad wondering if its worth getting
If it has more control then it will be worth
The OG cerapad is already slower than the Skypad and the KIN is compared here quite well to the OG cerapad in the video! It has more control
Haus, have you tried glorious Helios? I used one couple of years ago and it was really nice.
Hmm, I haven't actually, might want to check it out!
@@hausgaming I see that you like hard pads too, I think you might like it. For me it got me back to the time I used my desk as my mousepad and it was fun.
@@hausgaming it is terrible imo, destroys skates feels bad to use and sticks to desk so you can’t really move it or put it back in the box
@@hausgaming yeah it has terrible durability issues as well, not that great imo.
@@hausgaming please help me 🙏: what pad is the most similar, in your opinion, to the hator pad that s1mple is using? I tried to look it up and nothing clear out there.
haus what balanced speed cloth pad do you recommend? my hien started feeling progressively worse and worse after 6 months, and now after 1.5 yrs it has a lot of dead spots and doesnt feel good and consistent anymore. are there any cloth surfaces that are more durable than this? i dont want to spend 60+ euro on a new hien l/xl every 12 to 18 months, and I'm hesitant on this cerapad due to price and the fact you cant press into it like a soft pad which is something i really feel is crucial.
Maybe you got a bad one? I heard that the Hien is the most durable from the Artisan line up, even lasting others for 4 years so it deteriorating already in just a year is concerning.
@@Reverae The sections where I haven't used it like near the corners feel almost good as new, but the sections where i usually use it the texture/weave has smoothened out and have way way more dynamic friction ("muddy", not as bad as like a worn gsr ofc), so if I hit those spots it feels really inconsistent.
The only solution for me is to try to avoid those spots by rotating the pad 180 degrees so i will use other spots more, which I've been doing for like 7 months but now those parts are worn as well and feel like dead spots too.
Maybe it lasts 4 years if you don't use it as much, play very low sens so you use every part equally, and don't put pressure in game with your mouse on it at all, but I will often push in to get more control which affects the pad and skate durability more.
I think a lot of ppl overestimate Hien durability, you can find a lot of stories about Hien developing "dead" spots after ~6 months, and for me after 18 months it doesn't feel great anymore at all since quite a few parts are like that. I think artisan themselves recommend on their website to change the pad every few months. I think that's a bit too often, but I see where they're coming from. The pad is pretty durable, but it's far from invincible or anything like what ppl make it out to be in terms of durability.
@@9core Yeah people have varying durability with artisans based on their use case from what I've seen, especially the dead spots. That's why I'm at this video, even if its expensive, at least it will save me frustration from having inconsistencies and having to replace a pad every year. Though it requiring a hand sleeve and not being able to push down the mousepad would be a deal breaker for people. Though getting acclimated to it would honestly be a worthwhile tradeoff
really recommend the mousepad company the texure and feel is so good and their mousepads feel about as fast as the hien
i had the same issue with the hien
What cloth pad would be comparable to the Cerapad KIN in terms of speed/control?
Not really comparable imo. Hard pads will just feel very different. It's not as slow as GSR/GPZ1, but it's not as fast as some faster control pads!
The haus5 code doesn't work from the pad on LGG.
Did you try any other codes and did they work? Thanks for letting me know
Yes its expensive upfront but you wont ever replace it . Most cloth pads need to be replace after a year if you play a lot even faster . Codura lasts longer but still after max 1.5 ys ita also done . So you pay over and over infinitly
I've just received my copy of the Kin and man it is exactly what I have been longing for for forever
Hey, Haus any recommendations for a really good control based desk pad? Something where I’ll have plenty of room and is good for all FPS games? Great video btw :)
Ever think about the LGG Saturn 3XL?
Probably the best control pad I’ve ever used.
@@unxtold no is that actually a thing because I’d consider it since I’ve heard the Saturn is top tier
@@Thorfinn_Has_No_Enemies Yeah it’s the best. Although I have to use a arm sleeve with it because my arm sticks.
@@unxtold yea mine sticks too on my desk lol it’s wooden
I just bought this and the finalmouse starlight-12... cant wait to beam kids on apex LOLO
Thank you. Are you still editing videos yourself? Production quality of your content just blows me away each time. By the way, have you considered expanding to other (not review) related topics. I genuinely feel that you could pull off less structured content in other areas, you're one of the very few creators I enjoy listening to, but reviews are limiting in a way. No need to respond, just sharing my thoughts.
Thank you bro! Yeah I do everything myself. Yeah I've thought about expanding a lot, but just haven't found the subject to do it with yet!
will it shave down my mouse feet?
Yes
The best tracking pad boys?
Does anyone who has used it know if it's better than skypad 3.0?
Yes much better
First one
The KIN color is fire, ngl. And sounds promising as a pad in general. But that pricetag, greedier even than Skypad for a slab of glass.
Does it have the same issue as the original where the surface looks oversprayed? The original seems very "cloudy" which aesthetically is super unpleasing.
No, the greasy or matte look isn’t on the kin. Has metal flakes with a smooth surface.
Hello fellow gamers!
No EU resellers and shipping and import that is way too expensive. Already there the skypad wins easily for me
they said it was coming to EU soon on twitter
@@xblur17 oh i see
Yeh, it will be available on MaxGaming
We are bringing this worldwide! We are a new company. Skypad has been around many more years.
@@peterlmad Just keep in mind MaxGaming shipping is going to be around 20-30€ so, still wildly overpriced. For 140-150€ it better aim instead of me while i lay back and watch or at least cook for me and do the laundry.
@hausgaming Please try Hunt Showdown. I want your opinion.
Its a niche game with a relatively small player base, it makes more sense for him to showcase Valorant/CSGO gameplay since this resonates with his viewers.
I got 3k hours in Hunt, if you are looking for mousepad recommendations for Hunt forget all the speed pads and look into slow/mud pads with lots of stopping power.
@@greenteaenjoyer9068 i always play better with an mpc450 than any other pad on hunt :D
Way to expensive
it is pretty disappointed that this haus guy seems open minded in the video
But absolutely narrow minded, and full of childish behavior in argument, commit multiple fallacies in argument on his discord
If you ever in a debate with him he will uses, Straw argument -This is the most form he uses, present absolutely nothing relevant to argument and undermine your statement while you trying to explain it
Burden of Proof
Hallucinate about the statement- He think he can reads mind and assumes what the others MEANT by HIS hallucination, although they never said it in 1st place
and there is many more this guy commit, but hey who I am to say
I wish you the best brother, but things did not go quite the way you are saying :). Quite the opposite. @@hausgaming K I hope you best for your narrow minded
quite good with your strawman argument

Yea to the guy never actually listen, bring up non relevant topic
Constant putting words in ppl mouth, quite a say
Ur probs that estelle dood from the discord. Arguing there is fine, problems arose from your own childish behaviour.
Next time you blame others, take a good look in the mirror mate.
I argue with Haus about how important is stitching compared to not having stitching and we are good :D. Often both sides of arguments can have good/correct points but people can take things the wrong way very easily.
