Hey freshy, very detailed review man. Been waiting to here your thoughts for sure on this pad. I'm not big on glass pads myself, so something like the cera pad sounds more down to earth for sure. I'm a control pad guy, so for sure hearing the control pad part of the review was very welcomed. Very in depth man. Thanks for the review Freshy. Cheers.
Jacob Here from TJ Exclusives creator of the Cerapad. Thank you Fresh for your great review of our Cerapad KIN, always great to work with you. If anyone has any questions let me know I would love to help.
I just got a Xtrfy M42 Wireless and want to know how long will my skates last on the KIN? I'm not a heavy handed player. Just want your input so I can have some replacements ready. Also I've purchased the KIN after very favorable reviews by Fresh & Haus 👍👌
I am really on the fence with this. I am currently using a hybrid cordura pad and want to have a longer term consistent feeling. I change out my cordura pads about every 8-12 months. I'm also looking at using the superglide glass skates on my MZ1 and was wondering the life span of this mat? If it lasts longer than 2+ years it will be worth it to purchase this over annually buying a MPC890
Have you seen the new $10-$15 IEM-s from Moondrop named Quarks? The Moondrop Quarks might be budget-gaming freindly cause they seem to be optimized for mid frequencies and sound stage. Maybe a review/comparison soon?
The only hard pad I’ve used was the sky pad 3, and I’m glad you made some comparisons to that. Overall hard pads weren’t for me but maybe cerapad might be something I try in the future. Great video, answers to a lot of questions/concerns I had with the cerapad👊
It looks great on your desk! This might be my first glass pad, but I want the look to hold up to wear and tear. Looking at the original Cerapad next to it, I'm not a fan of the finish over time. If you decide to main it, I'd love to see a 3-month or 6-month update!
What is your recommendation top tier symmetrical mouse? I have large hands (like yours), palm - fingertip hybrid grip maybe it is claw idk) and dont love big mouses (feels like I am out of control). Your comment is so important for me bro... Except for GPX btw because its LOD is too low and unchangable. Many thanks.
I know this is an old vid, but how has the pad held up coating wise? I really love the feel of glass skates, so it would be sick to use them coupled with a hard pad. My only concern would be the feel of the glide changing after using it with glass skates for hours. For context my steam hours are usually 50-80 hours every 2 weeks mainly playing CSGO.
I just got this pad and I have a Superlight + Corepad skates. When I don't apply a lot of pressure it feels like the mouse loses tracking. Anyone know whats up?
You know what I found when I first purchased a skypad 3.0? That every reviewer was talking out their ass about it. It's an amazing pad and I have zero issues the youtubers complained about
@@FreshReviewsYT I got the king but I found that micro adjustments feel stiff on it ? I’ve had the pad for a few days so it should be almost broken in?? I’m using final mouse with corepads
It can definitely get to the speed of a zero. I don’t have one anymore because I gave it away to a friend, but the nice balance of btl skates on the gpx somewhat reminds me of it
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks so much for responding man! Looking for something slightly slower than the agile deskmat as I find I can be a bit shaky tapping in valorant.
Hey Fresh !! What kinda mouse is the red and black in the beginning of the video? Also for someone who uses skypad 2 do u think its worth the upgrade?? I got no issues wearing a sleeve ?
thoughts on a cloth pad on top of a hard pad 👀basically a hien/zero surface glued on a hard pad so a more consistent glide but more stopping power than just a hard pad
Off topic but I recently got into apex legends. I'm using vaxee pa which I felt was fast but good control for valorant. But I find myself hard to track people up close and I felt like the amount of dynamic force is high. What's your main mousepad for apex?
You won't be disappointed by skypad 3, it performs exceedingly well if you like hard surfaces. Based on the review, the cerapad gives you a steady hand cheat code since higher static, so if you're not used to hard pads the cerapad would most likely be more performant out of box. As far as long term use goes, control surfaces in general give you more consistency on the daily grind. But if you can't afford the extra $100 skypad 3 is still amazing. Skypad 4 control is also right around the corner.
My cerapad had a manufacturing issue or something and the coating started chipping off after maining it for less than a week. My skypad 3.0 experience was much better overall. Gave up Apex though so now I'm just using an artisan zero for valorant. Would recommend passing on the regular cerapad.
Tough call. Two really nice combos tbh!! Playdoh has a good point. Mainly will depend how much you’re ok with playing on a hard surface as opposed To a squishy foam xsoft Material like the Saturn
Hey Fresh, I was in the stream for a bit yesterday, but I have a quick question after watching your full review. Unfortunately for the Xlite V2, there are no BTL or Corepad Air options for it. Would you say that Superglides are pretty comparable in terms of balance between control and speed? I've been hesitant on getting Superglides due to seeing multiple posts stating how they drastically slow down and lose their coating after a while. Thanks.
Superglides are great. I’ve only had drastic slow down on my first batch copy. They work great on the kin. I’d put them between balanced and speedy. Not horribly hard to control but more speedy than balanced for sure
@@FreshReviewsYT I am a long time cs player. The last time im playing cod/apex sometimes csgo/valorant my zowie gsr pad is in very bad condition. I want fast buy new mousepad. Saturn pro will be shipped october/december is it such a good pad that it is worth waiting for it?
